The World can be AMAZINGLY STRANGE!

Hello----All is good here-- So--we have the tooth out-- and the patient (Himself)--is doing well-- and " I " am also--WooWoo!-----He made it thru the surgery- the bill was reasonable---and Tylenol and antibiotics are carrying him thru the pain etc-I keep getting 5 minute reports on how he feels--which is OK ---

Funny--I came upstairs yesterday and Himself was sitting in his desk chair, doing arm exercises--going over what he had learned in his Adult Daycare class this week-- so, I am learning that the few hours he spends there is helping him--

--The above put a smile on my face this morning--the Lady walking her Chicken----and the meme below also made me LOL--
Now isn't that so true?-----because--  "I AM THE CRAZY OLD LADY"---   --You have to laugh at what we have become eh?-- To-day is "Hair Day"--and, I am going to get "Highlights"-- ---  haven't had that for a very long time!

I find  if I try not to worry so much, life just rolls on and on-- and it truly amazes me  that I get thru the day--

To-day I shall take that deep breathe, remain calm, and focus on the simple things--You are alive, you're breathing,  You're enough as you are. YOU AND, I, CAN DO THIS-----  (because it says so up above--read it! )

Keep your chin up---and lets make this a very good day-!--Holy Cow! --------WE are simply amazing!

  1. So happy that Himself is doing well after the tooth extraction. Glad that Tylenol and antibiotics are getting him through the recuperation. PHEW.

AWESOME that Himself is doing the arm exercises he learned @ the Lodge! That is the best thing that’s happened for him in a while (YOU TOO!) Hurray.

YUP . . . have a crazy ol’ lady in this house, too. I see to recognize her!

    Enjoy your pampering.

  2. It's Kathy. I love that himself is doing exercises that he learned at the Adult Care Center and I'm so glad he got through the tooth extraction and is managing on Tylenol and antibiotics. And you sound calmer! I think you're right, all our worrying does not help anything. I'm trying also to stop worrying! Enjoy your hair day and the highlights.

  3. Great that Himself has had his bad tooth removed! He'll feel better...maybe more "himself" now. And exercising on his own...remembering what they taught at day care? Amazing!
Maybe a little more socialization where some people know him is really good for him!

Hopefully time to do a short snooze with Lucky.

  4. Love the crazy lady meme. Isn't that so true of many of us. That is great that himself remembers the arm exercises he learned and is doing them all on his own. That is so fantastic. And glad that all went well with getting the tooth out and seems to be all under control, pain etc. Have a good time getting your hair done. Hugs Brenda

  5. I am thrilled that your Himself seems to be helped by that one outing to the senior place. I hope it becomes something normal and that he can be looking forward to it, and "practicing" in between.

  6. Loved hearing that DH is doing some of the exercises on his own at home. Happy to hear tooth extraction went well and you're getting "frequent" updates on his status. Cute.
I'm that crazy old lady in the mirror.
Enjoy your blonde hair and do tell...do blonds really have more Fun? I assume DH stayed home while you went to hairdresser. Hoping you can take DH to center more frequently when things settle down a bit. The interaction with others seems good for him.
Enjoy today. Relax a bit so your new blond hairdo lasts a little while.
Hot hot hot in St.Louis. Grateful for AC.
    Stay positive.
    Worry less, laugh more
