Today is going to ROCK!

Thursday---repeat the above 3 times -then go and make it happen!--I love this! ---and--It is HAIR DAY--my day to get out of the house--just "ME--- MYSELF and I-"---I can get a few errands done-- and hope and pray that all is well, when I return home--

Lola -(son#3's pooch)--his Chihuahua--and Lopez, the Chihuahua , who resides at our house--and--then there is big Beau and Apollo--2 of these doggies are vacationing in our kitchen, where the food is--- where we have to step over them daily, to get our meal-and-- the great news is---only 4 more days , and  Lola and Apollo go home---  YEAH-HH-HHH!

But--they are good dogs--all of them--just a tad mixed up, living at Grammas---  wondering where their Dad and Mom are---

We are those women, aren't we?---so strong , that we are gentle, so educated , that we are humble, and so fierce , that we are compassionate---passionate, rational and disciplined--I must work on all that daily--- and some days nothing comes easy-

-It is mostly Himself who sends me flying into a tail spin--Now when he looked like this,  there was  no problem----poor guy eh?---  Old age is difficult  --causing frustrations---like--"me" --- trying to steer him in the right direction-- when it used to be him, always supporting me--

I guess that is life---and when I understand all of this, my tears do not flow as freely--

Son #2, the Pilot just called to say "good morning Mom"---and to let me know , that he is flying to Brazil to-morrow-- Any of you on his flight?----

Sadie , the cleaning Lady,  (who is,  yu know, really me!) is knocking at the door here so . I'll  talk to y'all to-morrow--  Remember , to go outside and shout, "TO_DAY IS GOING TO ROCK!"

  1. Good morning! Yes, let’s rock the day! Enjoy your hair outing. The dogs are too cute! My two are napping. Your pilot son is so good to check in! It must make your heart happy. I bet he finds great food in Brazil. My husband and nephew are talking about a brazilian steakhouse soon. My nephew has not experienced it and there are several here in Ohio. He goes back to school the 28th. I won’t see him until Thanksgiving. I always get so sad. He is so helpful and fun to have here. I know school here starts much earlier. Rock the day! Hugs!

  3. It's Kathy, I can't even imagine being 95 and remembering all the things that you used to be able to do so easily. I'm sure it's very hard sometimes. There are already things that are harder for me to do and himself has 22 years on me! My Daisy stays pretty close to my side these days. She wants to know where I am at all times! We're having another very hot day so this is my day to hang out inside and just chill! I needed a day off from responsibilities! Have a lovely day and enjoy "hair day".

  4. Rock this day.
Pilot son seems so considerate and thoughtful.
Himself does do a few things and for that we are grateful.
I'll be glad FOR YOU when the extra pups go HOME.
Enjoy your outing and pampering. Hoping the referral for adult day care comes soon.

  5. Every night when I crawl in bed, I think of all I accomplished and all I enjoyed that day. When I awake, I think about how comfy I am, all I have to look forward to and what fun today will be. Kinda a Law of Attraction thing.
You love to have the doggies come, and love to see them go! Reminds me of kids on summer vacation. Parents are glad they have some time with them, but when that summer vacation ends the parents are thrilled to see them leave for school.
The photo of Himself shows he was very handsome.
Hope you enjoy your trip for hair and errands.
I'm just staying home today. My errands will be tomorrow when my Social Security check posts in my account.

Yu know, when I go to bed--or in my bath before bed, I go over too, what I accomplished----and before I put my feet on the floor every morning, I go over what I must do that day--or--I decide to not do anything if I could-get away with it--*S*-Nice to know that your cheque is put in your bank account too-- That is a good feeling----Hugs to you too-Lynda

  6. Thursday did indeed "rock". I had my first workout back with the trainer since that nasty RSV thing! One more week to stay healthy before the cataract adventure. I'm glad yours went so well... adding you to my list of good examples, and hoping mine goes as smoothly.

  7. Glad your are getting out on your own today and get to visit at the hairdressers. It's good to have someone else to talk to face to face. Hope all the doggies behaved while you were out so himself wouldn't have issues. The pilot sure gets around - Brazil now! Have a good evening. Brenda
