Fingers crossed for a good outing for Himself... and a nice break for YOU! Happy Monday!
ReplyDeleteWow, 24 kinds of Dim Sum! Amazing! Nice of your son to send pictures of his meals out! So Happy Himself went to the Senior place! Finally! Was like “pulling teeth” to get him there! Lol. Happy for both of you!
ReplyDeleteHappy for you and Himself! Wonder if you will leave him for errands/alone time or if he's not quite ready for that yet.
ReplyDeleteSuper hot here in Minnesota. Later this week the heat index will be up to 115F!
Eating lunch now. Will check back here later.
Be happy! {{{HUGS}}}
Yay on himself at Senior program. I assume you will drop him off and do errands or NOTHING while he's there. It's my hope you get a break and can extend frequency and time, including lunch, so you really do get a break.
ReplyDeletePilot son and his food pictures, lol. The man enjoys food.
So freaking hot in St.Louis today. Another day of 100. Its foggyish or Canada smoke or something today. Air is still and HOT with clouds.
Enjoy today. Hope you're giving yourself a break.
Hugs
Enjoy your free time Lynda....glad Himself enjoys his visits with people who make him talk etc.
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy to hear that himself is going and looking forward to it. That will give you some much needed time to yourself. It's funny what you said in the comments about your mom. I don't think my mom had the temperament to be a mom. As adults, my children have asked how did I learn to be such a good mom - my response "I'd think what my mom would do and do the opposite!" She was a good mom in all the ways it counted but really didn't know what to do with me!
ReplyDeleteWow, I've never even HAD Dim Sum. What is it, exactly?
ReplyDeleteSame here. I don't know what is Dim Sum ? Rice? I'm trying a new FOD map diet, so just wanted to be sure. Guess I can Google it. Have a nice day!! Donna_cps2
ReplyDeleteGood evening, Lynda! I hope all went well at the Lodge today. I had a dental cleaning and Tommy got his last shots until next year. He is out this evening. I saw in the local news that there was a threat at Medina High School today. I hope they got it under control. I thought of your grandchildren. They may be in a private school. Enjoy your evening. You must be tired like me. lol
ReplyDeleteHope all went well at the Lodge this morning. Have a good night. Brenda
ReplyDeleteWe love dim sum! I grew up across the bay from San Francisco, and it was always an adventure to go to a dim sum restaurant where they would push the carts around to each table and you could choose your plates. Fortunately, we ended up in an area where good dim sum is available. Yummy!
