Sao Paulo, Brazil, Honolulu-- and my living room--

---and you really are amazing--Too bad we never realize that---but think about it--You survived another day--yesterday--  Some people did not--
This morning has been  sorta crazy---You see, yesterday, Son#3 texted me to tell me that he is all mixed up with the time change in Hawaii----and------AND---  (I'll say it fast because it hit me like a ton of bricks!)---and----His flight leaves Honolulu Tuesday at midnight--- so, he will be in the air all day Wednesday--arriving in Toronto Wednesday evening--- and probably not get here in Elliot Lake  until very late Wednesday night--It would be safer if he stayed in Toronto Wednesday night--so---if he did, we will have the 2 guests---Lola and Apollo,  the Grand Dogs, until Thursday------  so, -----my mind is not going to go there--  Funny how one sets their mind on something--- and when that something doesn't work out, it is difficult to change how you feel----
-This was our living room this morning-- It resembles a doggie Day care--You can see Apollo in Beau's bed---

Anyway, I am happy that Son #3 is even getting a vacation--He works hard and  does drop in to see his Dad quite a bit--also trims the dogs nails--and whenever I need him, he is there--He is the one who drove me all the way to Toronto and back, to get Lopez--

This is your reason to LOL today--Isn't it so so true?--I sure can relate to this----Below are pictures from Hawaii---Kailuha Beach in Hawaii---

and--then we have more pictures from Sao Paulo , Brazil, from Son#$2, the Pilot who is there now----and his first picture is a McDonald's there-

a hospital----and below, a city street--
He says it is their winter now---with a daytime temperature of about 70 degrees--very pleasant--He also said they are an hour ahead of us here--He flew over the Amazon, which usually causes turbulence, but his flight was,  I believe, at night, so it was smooth--
a food court in Honolulu sent by our Grand daughter
--I am NOT going to stress about "stuff" to-day--We have sun---  the 104 dogs have been out and done their business--Some people did not make it to to-day----but---  WE DID! ---  Lord love a Duck!

I hope that you are happy today--Count your blessings--Hug your  friends and your pets-- Dance  even if people look at you funny---  Who cares?---

  1. ohhh boy. You have your fur baby hands full. PHEW. Yes, your front room does look like it’s doggy approved.

Omg, that meme about how many words a woman uses in a day is utter truth!

    Beautiful photos today.

    Have a blessed Sunday

  2. Lovely photos, and remember to breathe... all the way to Thursday! I have sister-cat-medicating starting Monday through Saturday! Not at my house, I drive over to hers to provide this service... since her cats are indoor kitties and mine go in and out and it probably would not be a good idea to put the two sets together!

  3. It's Kathy - yes, our children can disrupt our plans. We had to go last minute to my daughter's new home to help with her water softener - not what we intended to do yesterday but the boys sure loved seeing us! Love the photos. My son was in the Peace Corps for 2 1/2 years in Paraguay and spend a week in Sau Paulo attending a wedding of his friend. He thought it was beautiful there! One day at a time, right!

  4. Lynda YOU are amazing. LOVE your positivity and I CAN DO IT attitude. Well...yes...living room does resemble doggie day care and thats ok. LOL
Darn.....son won't be back as soon as I hoped (for you) but we'll (actually you) roll with the punches. Your comment about being happy son can take a vacation is sweet. He sounds like a helpful son...which all your boys are.
Beautiful pictures from beach and Brazil. Even McDonald's looks pretty swanky.
A day at a time with all of it. Hoping you get adult care set up and can get some free time to unwind to deal with the tough times with DH. Or resort to singing and dancing Hokey Pokey.
    Enjoy today.
Play your piano for the dogs and DH.
    Take a nap
    Hugs

  5. OMG, Lynda! Kona-Kailua was where my son sent me In Feb a year and 1/2 ago. Maybe I was on that same beach. It was a National or maybe State Park! The water looks calm, though. I never saw it that way. It was always pretty big waves with everyone on their boogie boards.
One of these days I'll get back there.
So you've got your visitors a couple days longer. You and they will survive. Bet the doggies will 'go nuts' when their family comes for them.
It's been raining here. Started in the middle of the night and almost stopped more. We are supposed to get more, though...most all night tonight.
Expecting friends any minute....bringing us fresh corn. We are celebrating one of them's birthday. Joann and I have a couple small things.
Let's look ahead to a wonderful week of accomplishment with time to relax, too...a week of great relationships, great rest, great music, etc.

  9. Oh well, better to have a couple of dogs for longer than a couple of kids!! I expect they would be more work. I'm really glad son #3 comes around a lot to see his dad. That's nice. Hope he enjoys Hawaii - pictures look really nice. Only way I will see it!! And trust the pilot to have McDonalds as his first photo from Brazil. He must be a real fan of McDonalds - visits them all over the world. Have a good evening and hope everyone behaves themselves for you this evening.
