Be that strong woman!

Paste the above in front of yer eyes--I need to have this in my brain  now--busy days , just before the big day--

And it seems we have to have our "wits about us"--yesterday I received a crank call--a telemarketer  asking if I had purchased an "I-phone"--one of the latest models--and if I did not--press the number one--They said they were from Amazon--"Amazon never telephones anyone"---- so I hung up--Praise the good Lord!---- Scams---  right before the big day--Good thing I remembered to be "SMARTER THAN I THINK"-
Anyway, -I saw this-Hopefully it will put a smile on your face--

-AND----  then I saw this---  Something to think about---kinda cute--I never thought of it being Christmas in Heaven--and to save a few seats at your table for friends and pets who are up there--

Both boys (as in dogs)n -have been out --AND___  the best part--did their business--AND---NO SNOW IS FALLING__ AND ITS FAIRLY MILD___ (for here!)--

Well.--I saw this man-- checking his list--Have you been --"naughty or nice?"--Lord love a Duck!--  I did tell him that we all are very nice--but---- deserve  some rest---He told me that he would see what he could do-(He does try you know!)-- I did tell him also, that I would like more time in a day-- and could he arrange that--then he looked at me kind of funny--(so I know that is not going to happen)-
In all the hoopla of Christmas---  I do hope that you take time for "YOU"-----Because--YOU ARE IMPORTANT!

BE THAT STRONG WOMAN!

  1. So many scams out there. Have to be so careful!

Awwwww, that meme about Christmas in Heaven touched me. Missing my parents but will have an empty chair for them, as I know they’re here in spirit!

For sure, we are that strong woman! Nothing escapes us, but being strong, we can choose not to reply or waste our energies!

  2. Let’s cook extra for those in heaven, since lots of memories from that. Glad it’s weirdly NOT so cold….waiting for January to change, winter is in Europe now, usually takes ten days to get here.

  3. I agree... I get spam e-mails pretending to have a package to deliver or pretending to be charging me umpty umpty dollars for a renewal of my virus protection (in a month when it doesn't renew, no less)... I just dump them in the trash. If a charge would actually show up on my bill, I would for sure protest it, but with the credit company, not via these scam style emails! You are smart, as are your readers. If you're not expecting it, don't answer it!

Have a Merry Christmas sending Santa our way!

  4. Hello, again, my amazing friend.
More memes to share. That one about Santa and the thunderstorm is a really cute riddle. My grandson will really like it.
Glad your boys cooperated already. Their bodies may not always be ready when you want them to be.
    Already did my errands.
Our manager is having a holiday meal for us at 4. Fried chicken and sides. I may bring 1 piece to my apartment, make my own baked potato so I can put plant based butter (I have one made from avocado oil) on it, steam some broccoli, etc. I will still have to take pills, though, cuz of the fat in the chicken. At least I will avoid all the mayo laden 'sides.' She means well.
Laundry sheets came from Amazon. I am no longer using those plastic jugs that end up in land fills. Or people try to recycle them without even rinsing.
No one is using the washers! Halleluiah!
Hope the rest of your day proceeds in a similar happy way.

  5. It's Kathy. I just got a call from my 5 year old grandson - he got a letter from Santa in the mail. AND... he's on the "nice" list. He was so excited. We're waiting until his 3 year old brother comes home to open his - I'm pretty sure he didn't make the nice list this year! I love the excitement of the young ones. It's raining at my house and in the high 40's. Tom and I slept in this morning - so late. Must have really needed the rest! Then we did a little shopping, not as busy as I would have thought! I agree, more time in the day would be a great gift! Happy Friday!
