Please be Safe-

 This morning, I am off to get an Electrocardiogram at the hospital--10am---I am sup[posed to be in there --- Hopefully it  will not show anything terrible-- My new Doctor  who I saw , way back when,  listening to my chest, said, "Do you know that you have a heart murmur ?

"No, I did not know that." I replied-  Lord love a Duck---  I shovel--- I work hard--no chest pain-- no shortness of breathe--YET!-- So, this morning is the big test--

So--What do you think?-----  Is this a serious thing?--Hmmmmmmmmm----  I hope not------ but--=I shall lt you all know the outcome-

I just came in from shovelling off the bricks on the driveway-- About 6 inches of snow fell overnight---and--I didn't conk out------Lopez and Beau have been out--and I shall return a bit later-----All of you--Please Be Safe-------Do not lean on any fences--

This morning,"I want my Mom"------

  1. Lynda, prayers that all goes well w/the EKG. Most heart murmurs aren’t serious. I had rheumatic heart disease as a toddler and have had a murmur all my life. It’s a good sign that you haven’t had any chest pains or the like.

    I KNOW! Well, I am sure your Mom is looking down on you and is with you . . . they always are in our hearts!

    hugs and prayers

  2. Lynda, please know that all will be all right. Dr may tell you to slow down your shoveling, etc., though.
    Taking a friend to see her sis in a nursing home today, going to the post office, etc. Sadie may have a day off here. And at your house, too?
    Hope you get your results right away. It's hard to have to wait. Also sure you will let us know.
    Praying, sending light and love. {{{HUGS}}}

  3. It's Kathy. I believe you are the most positive, patient person that I have ever met! My husband was very ill about 5 years ago and it didn't take much for me to just lose it with him - of course, he wasn't following the doctor's orders! I love the "be safe" sign - and yes, some days I just want my daddy! My mom wasn't the best mom and had absolutely no patience whatsoever. So whenever I had a problem it was my dad I went to. He was the best! Take care of yourself. I hope all goes well with your test today. I'll be praying for you!

  4. Amen to the "I want my mom" feelings. And I hope things go well with the test. I wouldn't worry too much about the heart murmur. People live with them for years and years. If you get advice from the doctor, for sure do your best to follow it, of course.

    (( hugs )) and wishes for safety!

  8. I figure if they didn't say anything or try to keep you at the hospital, it must be fine. I didn't realize that an EKG would take that long - - almost sounds like an Echocardiogram which is a long thing. I've had both and have no problems - cardiologist in family just wanted to be sure and scheduled the echocardiogram after he read an electrocardogram I had prior to surgery for broken leg years ago.

    My daughter is in town and we plan to make cookies tomorrow. Must admit I haven't done it in years - also don't need them but she will take most home for her family. Don't know what we are making but not the cut-out sugar cookies - - too much work. Tonight the Rum Balls sound better. Have a great day - D
