Merry Christmas Everyone

OMG--  Here I am -AGAIN----posting later than late--It's because, yesterday there was just too much excitement--and now we have 2 trees-- Lord love a Duck eh?---We have the one in the living room--
-AND---- the one which used to be outside, but is now in the sunroom--This picture taken at 6am ---so--in the dark----I did not put it outside, as Himself has fallen several times , trying to  put it up, when it was outside--so---this year, it is in the sunroom---looking outside----
Can you just imagine?--  We did 2 trees yesterday--and--- who cares that there are no presents under the tree---  I just felt more like it was Christmas with a tree up--
So, here I am late posting ,-- because I was playing the piano--- Christmas Carols--and both of the boys--(THE DOGS) --were fast asleep  --beside the piano--- Funny isn't it how animals enjoy music?--  You might say, that I play for the animals---

Son#2 , the Pilot, is sitting in Montreal, waiting to fly that Dreamliner to SaoPalo---Brazil , this evening--He called   to tell me to change the batteries  in the TV remotes,  in the kitchen--Yu all know that I am addicted to CBC TV and I couldn't get the remote to go to any channel--  thought it was a problem with the TV---Pilots are so clever !--  How on earth did he know that? --I do not think we have  ever replaced batteries in any of the TV's in the house--

I ventured onto the scales this morning--- THE WEIGHT IS DOWN AGAIN--to 180----still too high--but- 6 pounds gone , since that ECHO----Lord love a Duck--- I have to think a lot, as I reach for something sweet--and  as I remember seeing,  the ol' heart chugging away, I stop  reaching for G'ale--and get water--and--- I try to help that ol' heart out by moving more--like--up the road--

So---- Are you happy --and you know it?-- (If you are, clap yer hands--LOLOLOL)-And---- Are you trying to be stronger than Poppy?----

Thank you to all of you for the Birthday wishes--They sure were appreciated--- Life is  special isn't it?----We  are so fortunate to be alive--  AND WELL--live where we do---living at the North Pole , where I do-- (Well, I sorta do!)--I can tell you that I saw Santa , the other day, loading his sleigh and I stopped to chat with him, and I did tell him that you all sure have been good people, and he told me he knew you all had been., and he was going to make all your Christmas' be bright--Oh---- I took a picture  of him to send to yu--Ho Ho Ho--

I Hope that your day is special--Be kind to  people--to  Policemen- to Pilots----to Doctors-to Husbands and remember that--- you are much stronger than you believe you are--
Just a Quick Reminder---

  1. It is so sweet that your dogs enjoy your piano music! I don't play the piano, but on YouTube TV there are free several stations (videos) for animals! My cats like to watch "Birder King"! And another station is relaxing music for cats - so cute to see all of those cats and right now they are playing relaxing Christmas music for them! My cats sleep well while it is playing! So fun! Thank goodness for our kids that can help us by telling us simple things like changing batteries or turning a devise off and then back on! Life can be so challenging for us as we age! Glad you had such a good birthday and got your trees up! They look great!

  2. Two beautiful trees all lit up, they both look beautiful, Lynda. I have a small one on my table but the lights are bright & cheery on it and it has all special decorations on it that I love. One made special by a friend, in memory of my grandson who passed away last year.

I love seeing photos of the Dreamliner and it's a gorgeous (and huge) airplane for him to pilot! You must be so proud of him and he's a good son. Well, they all are Lynda, you're fortunate. I see my son often, he brings Tim Horton's coffee and Timbits and we call it our breakfast, lol. Yesterday was our special time together and we did a lot of gabbing!

I also love how your dogs enjoy your music and the fact that you sing Christmas carols, I'd enjoy listening too!

Have a lovely Sunday afternoon. We have rain here, no snow at all. Gloomy outdoors but so cozy indoors!

Love and a lot of hugs to you, Fred and your fur babies xoxo

    1. Gloria --Good--so good to see yu on here-I remember your Grandson passing--It rained all day here-- Lopez doesnt mind the rain---He is a good little boy--- just has a mind of his own--does not like me to make him do something--has to think about it first--but I do love him-- Lynda

    2. Lynda, my wee Chihuahua never liked snow or rain and whenever she had to go outside in either, she would 'tip toe', especially in the snow. :) I always got a kick out of that. Yes, these little dogs are so loveable and loyal. Their loyalty usually is to one person in a household and I'm sure that you are Lopez's person. Goodnight, sleep well. xo

  3. It's a rainy Ohio day here but all is well. I love the tree in the sunroom. I do remember Himself falling trying to deal with that tree. Great idea to have it inside now. It looks so nice there! Good for you playing the piano and relaxing while entertaining those sweet fur babies. I need to send Tommy and Kloi (Chloe) over to be entertained. lol It's nice the pilot knew about your remotes. I hope he has a pleasant trip to Brazil and back. Yes, be kind to everyone is so important. I am glad you got a pic of Santa and I love the blue. I am a blue Christmas person. My outdoor lights are blue, wrapping paper and whatever else I can make blue. You are doing wonderful resisting all those sweet treats. I have G'Ale as you write it, in the house for Christmas, eggnog from our local creamery and just a pint size off local eggnog ice cream. I shall come to my senses very soon after the holidays. For now, I guess I will enjoy and face the consequences. lol Happy to hear you had a nice birthday! You deserved it and the happiest of holidays, too! Enjoy your day!

  5. I am so happy you had a great birthday! Did you see my late post yesterday after karaoke and my birthday poem on FB (maybe Messenger)?
2 Trees and I can't even found mine.!
I have kitty throw up to clean up and I haven't wrapped one gift yet!
Christmas Eve with that 'jolly ole elf' is fast approaching. He brings gifts for good boys and girls. Is that us? I guess we're only as old as we feel. Sometimes I feel 16...sometimes 95!
You love posting about that Dreamliner. How 'bout one of your policeman in his uniform? Some family members do not like themselves posted on social media.
Have a great day, today too...all of you.
I'm about to crawl back in bed with Lucky. He doesn't throw up on the bed...thank goodness!

  6. Such lovely trees do make the season festive, don't they? I finished the wrapping today and except for some baking, I'm done with my holiday preparation. Oh, and of course I have to get my Sadie to come and clean before then.

It never truly ends, does it?

The celebration for your DIL sounds like fun! Happy birthday to her. And safe travels to your sister driving to Kansas.

  8. It's Kathy. I love that you have TWO trees up! YEAH!!! My favorite quote today is the one where you forgive someone who isn't sorry. It's good to do that because it takes the anger away! We have several people in our lives that we have had to forgive! I'm so happy that you had a great day on your birthday, that's what birthday's are for. My daughter posted some photos of my granddaughter's birthday celebrations - looks like she had a great day too! Enjoy your day today!

  13. Good idea to enjoy two trees in the house! We have that, but they are small, on two little tables. We are old, don’t need a lot of room, heading to son’s for Christmas together and birthday time. You are something special carrying those trees yourself

We have a small tree upstairs and we put the big tree up downstairs, and I just don't feel Christmassy this year, will be hard looking back when David was with us...it sure gets lonely...........and of course I sure do miss my man.
