It's a Birthday Party online!!!

Good day---  I hope that you are having a great day-- In have had the best day ever--because it is my Birthday and to-day I am 81 yrs young---

"Well ", you might say--," of course she is having the best day ever--It's her Birthday!"-----but-----The kids have all called--   which is nice--- Son #4 was out and helped Himself and I get our tree to light--We could not get the middle part of the tree lit--but---Son #4--pulled the tree around and in 2 shakes of a Lamb's Tail (Mom's expression)- he said, "Here it is--a cord yu hadn't plugged in--"---

So, on my Birthday, all I wanted was a tree---- up------  because  both Himself and I are very old and you never know when that last Christmas might be-- -- LOL----  No presents-----yet---- and maybe  never-- but----  THE TREE IS UP___
How is that jollo guy going to come if we don't have a tree???-----So---  I made it happen----and now it feels like Christmas--Sometimes one must just DO stuff---  Do you find that?---  Just begin to do what needs to be done and most times, Himself will join in--It just didn't seem like Christmas , if our home had no decorations--  so---  I just took the "Bull by the Horns"--Well, you know--(Mom said that also-)

I am finding that even on my Birthday,. even if you are now 81, life is good!-Always just do the best you can, no matter what others think,  and usually life turns out for the best--for you-

I never ever remember a  Christmas without a tree---When we were young,  there were mostly mittens under the tree--  knit by Mom--I do remember one year getting new winter boots- and taking them to bed with me, as I loved them so much!---I believe Christmas is full of memories--good memories--

Anyway---We have had rain and snow fall to-day----I hope that you all are enjoying your day--I have been playing Xmas Carols on the piano--and I even sing to them--Lopez and Beau fall asleep when ever I play the piano--

Thank you for being here--  it really feels like a blessing , when I share my day with you all--
--Now--get out and do something special--  This day only comes once you know----

--Lots to think about in life isn't there?

---------I always think  the above  is quite funny--           - -I  hope it puts a smile on your face to-day---

--I am probably not going to get either of the above-- That is OK--------It is Christmas---  and---  we have a tree----and-- we are alive----and --here we are together----  Lord love a Duck! What more could we ever ask for???

  5. It's Kathy. Thanks for the pep talk from yesterday. Yes, some days it really feels like it's always us - encouraging, reminding, or just doing it. But other days are like today for you - YEAH!!! You got your tree up and thanks to Son #4 who helped! I'm glad you got yourself a new dress. I bought myself 10 Stretch Sessions with a Personal Trainer. They really seem to help with the residual pain that I can't seem to get rid of! I tell my husband I want to be surprised but it seems to work out best if we each get what we want for Christmas. I remember many years ago my dad went out on his own to buy my mom a Christmas present (every year she bought for herself). He was so proud of himself - he bought her a crock pot!!! But she really loved it because he did it all on his own! Happy happy Birthday. Today is also my first grandchild's 17th birthday - I talked with her earlier. Next month she is making another ROBOT! One that will help plant seeds in the garden. I hope she makes one for me! Enjoy the rest of your day!

  17. I hope you had a Happy Birthday and that the good start continued all day.
We've been having pretty nice weather here in NE Montana, above freezing during the day and not real cold at night (mid teens F / about -8 C ) and lots of sunshine during the short day. The sun was just coming up at 8a.m. this morning and sets around 4 p.m. It's good that we have only a week until the days start getting longer.

  26. "Happy Birthday Lynda!" You're only as old as you feel and you're still a 'young chick!' :) I'm way older than you and remember all those sayings that your mother said. And I enjoy reading them when you put them here in your blogs.

You're a dear friend and are remembered daily, and especially on your very own special day - Your Birthday!

Enjoy your day and I know it will be as special as you are!
Love and hugs to you, Fred and your furry babies! xoxo
