One week--and it's Christmas day--but--- really--This is Christmas-- season--and it can be beautiful--- if we want it to be--I do hope the season warms your heart----and your soul--
OK--Why am I late getting on here--?--because--Big Beau, the German Shepherd, is at the groomers--Lord love a Duck! It is a challenge to get him safely into the car-- and all the way to town, I pray that the hatch will not open, as he tosses and turns back there--We made it safely--just have to get him back home----in a bit--I do not know which is more difficult to handle--Beau---or Himself, who I made ride in the back seat--supposedly to talk to Beau but Himself was grumbling all the way to town--and he never chatted to Beau--
I must stop at the bank on the way--(never enough money this time of year!)-
--The BIG news--- My weight is DOWN----Lordy Be! ---from 186 the day I saw the heart chugging away----to---180 --hard as I keep seeing foods that I could devour-I am trying however to help the poor old 81 yr old heart!
-This week will be busy--- lots to do--- Power outages last evening--very windy--sunshine this morning --(with lollipops)--Ha Ha
I must get ready to return to get my big Beau, who understands english-as I shall stop at the bank and load up on money AGAIN---
Dao Paulo, Brazil, here Son #2 is--and a park Son #2 the Pilot, walked thru--says it is their summer--very hot there now---also said it was a bumpy ride flying over the equator--the cold and warm air meeting-said the plane levelled off once past the equator--and below--- of course--MCDONALDS--

Alas, not going to happen unless I move out of the daughters' home,. she has an Australian Shepherd, who is adorable for sure....but it is not like having one of my own.

DeleteKind people are my kind of people. While meditating yesterday (and trying to clear my mind), I thought of a neighbor who abuses her animals (I rescued Lucky from her). I thought, "I wish the world was without abusers of any kind...no abuse of animals, elderly, handicapped, those of different religions and ethnicities...and of course children." I was feeling it so strongly that tears were running down my face. Then the beautiful blue filled my inner vision, and I felt a warm hug around my shoulders. That's all from Source (God), of course. Please don't think I'm crazy...cuz if I am, it's in a good way.

DeleteIt's Kathy. I love all the food (and McDonald's) photos. Your son does know how to eat when he's visiting other countries. It all looks delicious! I'm sorry you had such a hard time getting Beau to the groomer's. Daisy's only 40 pounds but I can barely get her to her groomer's alone. She'll get in the car but once she knows where she is she doesn't want to get out! Aren't our dogs entertaining! It's warming up some for us - still windy. They are quite sure that it will NOT be a white Christmas - short of a miracle! Have a wonderful day!

That park has me longing for summer again! But have to get through Winter and Spring. I'd be content w/Spring all yr. round, too.

DeleteYes, it's almost Christmas! I thought I was done until my husband let me know that he needed two gifts for work tomorrow and some cupcakes.I already planned to make cookies tomorrow. I got it all ready and sat down to eggnog ice cream. I had already been Sadie all day. A nap and a book sound so good! Good for you moving that scale. I am sure mine is moving too but the other direction. lol Love the Brazil pics. Always a McDonald's. lol Hope Beau done well with the groomer. It is a chore getting my two yorkies there so I can only imagine with Beau. My nephew will be here tomorrow night. Super excited about that. The snow is melting here in Ohio and will be good weather tomorrow. It will be 50 on Christmas. Hope your day has gone well and you are resting now!
