And the man of the house fell--

Just to let you all know-- Himself lost his balance this morning---hit the closet door---  cut his leg---  and all hell broke loose-- He did not need to go to hospital---  but it was quite a morning-----no blog--and all is good now--  but it was chaos---

I had help here- hired a  man to help me with the grass on the lake side---- and I will add to this, this evening--

I sure do miss yu all-----  and by the way, no Thomas the Toad  has appeared --yet to-day----- hope he is OK also--   Later then---  Big hugs--Lynda

  1. so sorry to hear about the fall. Thankful that the injury wasn't worse than it was and I'm full of faith that he will soon be back to normal for him. Glad you have some help with the yard - there is a limit as to just how much you can take on and do. Sadie isn't a Wonder Woman although you give her a run for the money (mom's saying). Have a quieter evening. Dot

  2. It's Kathy. I will check in again later. I'm so sorry himself lost his balance but very glad he wasn't too badly injured. I love Kermit the Frog, he always shows such wisdom! The parade wasn't too bad. The boys were good although Lauriellen and I were always watching. They seemed to have more fun going into the house and then coming back again than watching the parade. They got excited when the candy started to be thrown, they got quite a haul! We even had Daisy sitting out with us, she was fascinated by all the people. I'm not sure I'd ever do it again! But it was nice to see the boys and Lauriellen! Oh, I have a couple of vibrators - one that's fairly large, and a smaller one. Those two boys had a great time with those! Roman had the smaller one, used it on his hand then came to tell me how much stronger he was! And Jake was quite impressed with my dumbbells! So the night was a hit!

  3. So sorry Himself had a fall, but it's not that unusual as we age to have this happen. Glad he's not seriously hurt, and I'll keep an eye out for updates. Those of healing for him, and help for you!

  4. I can only imagine how frightening that fall was for both of you. How awful that he took such a tumble but glad he didn’t hurt himself badly. HUGS to you. You have a lot on your plate. Hope that today is a better day.

And hope that Thomas the Toad shows up. Poor guy!

    Hugs and . . . MORE hugs!

  5. I am so sorry, sis! Must've been frightening for you both and painful for Himself! Trust all will be okay. WebMD says the reason older people fall so much is cuz the nerves in their legs and feet deteriorate and don't know where they are in space. I do exercises...ankle circles, stretching the backs of my legs, kicks, squats to help combat that. Himself may not be able to do much exercise.
Glad to finally hear from you, though. Do keep us updated on his progress (I know you will, hon).
All's great here. I believe there will be karaoke tonight, but I haven't seen evidence of it on line.
Take care, Lynda. It's a big job you have...taking care of the four of you, the house and the property...even if you have help sometimes.
Pray for you always. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
