I had help here- hired a man to help me with the grass on the lake side---- and I will add to this, this evening--
I sure do miss yu all----- and by the way, no Thomas the Toad has appeared --yet to-day----- hope he is OK also-- Later then--- Big hugs--Lynda
so sorry to hear about the fall. Thankful that the injury wasn't worse than it was and I'm full of faith that he will soon be back to normal for him. Glad you have some help with the yard - there is a limit as to just how much you can take on and do. Sadie isn't a Wonder Woman although you give her a run for the money (mom's saying). Have a quieter evening. Dot
ReplyDeleteDot--- Thank yu for writing-- Fred is OK--no stitches--I moved his shirts down to a lower rack--- and yes--- Gil cut all the grass down by the lake--and the hill--was so nice to get the help-- Lynda
DeleteIt's Kathy. I will check in again later. I'm so sorry himself lost his balance but very glad he wasn't too badly injured. I love Kermit the Frog, he always shows such wisdom! The parade wasn't too bad. The boys were good although Lauriellen and I were always watching. They seemed to have more fun going into the house and then coming back again than watching the parade. They got excited when the candy started to be thrown, they got quite a haul! We even had Daisy sitting out with us, she was fascinated by all the people. I'm not sure I'd ever do it again! But it was nice to see the boys and Lauriellen! Oh, I have a couple of vibrators - one that's fairly large, and a smaller one. Those two boys had a great time with those! Roman had the smaller one, used it on his hand then came to tell me how much stronger he was! And Jake was quite impressed with my dumbbells! So the night was a hit!
ReplyDeleteThe 2 little boys sound OK--- and I hope that your daughter is also--- Fred survived the fall --no stitches--- Lordy Be--Quite the day--Lynda
DeleteSo sorry Himself had a fall, but it's not that unusual as we age to have this happen. Glad he's not seriously hurt, and I'll keep an eye out for updates. Those of healing for him, and help for you!
ReplyDeleteBarb Fred is OK--bandaged up the cuts--It could've been much worse--no stitches either--Lynda
DeleteI can only imagine how frightening that fall was for both of you. How awful that he took such a tumble but glad he didn’t hurt himself badly. HUGS to you. You have a lot on your plate. Hope that today is a better day.
ReplyDeleteAnd hope that Thomas the Toad shows up. Poor guy!
Hugs and . . . MORE hugs!
Barb

Oh Barb--Thomas has not shown up today--but it rained a lot so maybe he buried himself into the soil in the garden-- Fred is OK--bad fall but I moved the shirts lower down--Lynda-I missed yu all tho
DeleteI am so sorry, sis! Must've been frightening for you both and painful for Himself! Trust all will be okay. WebMD says the reason older people fall so much is cuz the nerves in their legs and feet deteriorate and don't know where they are in space. I do exercises...ankle circles, stretching the backs of my legs, kicks, squats to help combat that. Himself may not be able to do much exercise.
ReplyDeleteGlad to finally hear from you, though. Do keep us updated on his progress (I know you will, hon).
All's great here. I believe there will be karaoke tonight, but I haven't seen evidence of it on line.
Take care, Lynda. It's a big job you have...taking care of the four of you, the house and the property...even if you have help sometimes.
Pray for you always. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
Maggie--all is good--I moved the shirts down so hopefully no more "reaching " high up--Man yu never can imagine what happens with these elders-- And yes, Gil came and did the grass on the lake side of the house--so happy to see him come!I sure missed you all tho-- Lynda--Oh I hope that yu got to Karaoke-Lynda
DeleteHi Lynda! Goodness! What a morning! Hope all has settled down now! Yes, very happy to know you! Sending much love and hugs from Ohio!
ReplyDeleteHugs to yu in Ohio also---no stitches--=and all good now-I missed yu all tho--Lynda-
DeleteHi Lynda: Wow what a morning. Hope himself is ok. And you're able to stay sane through this! Hope tonight is better. Hugs Brenda
ReplyDeleteBrenda--all is good--no stitches-- but I did move his clothes ROUND SO THERE WILL BE NO "reaching" for shirts--Whatta day--Lynda
DeleteLynda, so sorry to hear that Fred fell. I am glad that he wasn't hurt too badly. Scary, all the same. I don't know how you do it all. You amaze me. Don't forget to take care of you too.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Chris
