Give some "love" to yourself--I never thought that way---"WE" need the love----and more so, on days which it seems everything goes wrong--a new way of thinking---for me--
To-day it is still hot---muggy--- I thought they promised us, that Friday , this heat dome would break up--I walked Lopez this AM., up the back road, and the humidity was extremely high--I hurried back home, thinking, "This is not good"---We still are running the AC in the house-The furnace guy told me to not turn it off--just turn it down when it becomes too cold-allow the house to adjust.
You see, over the years, I never had to worry about adjusting to a heat dome--I was so busy, driving kids , here, there and everywhere--visiting their schools----buying groceries for 5 teenagers--doing tons of laundry--AND teaching fitness classes for women, on the side --
Hopefully you love love love yourself--- stand up for what you believe----take some time everyday to "BE YOU"-----Sally Forth said, "Behind every successful woman....is a basket of dirty laundry."

It's Kathy. We are still in Roanoke and it is very hot here. We took a short drive into the mountains and Daisy was not a happy girl. We stopped to let her out and have a drink and she refused to get back in the car! But she loves playing with the kids. Yes, we need to be kind to ourselves just as we would be kind to others. As women, I think we were taught to take care of others often at our own expense! Have a lovely day, I hope the heat eases up for you. It's storming where we live, hopefully it will be done by the time we get home on Sunday.

DeleteHot and muggy here, too, down on the Plains! Yesterday we had a break, so maybe a break is coming your way? But our heavy heat / humidity came back today! So if you do get a break, be sure to enjoy it!

ReplyDeleteA primary teaching of the Law of Attraction on my FB page for the group lately has been self-love. It is suggested even when we look in the mirror to say, "I love you," and mean in.
Not hot here. Not even 70F. Raining, also all last night. All day today with very few breaks. All day tomorrow, too. Due to storm while we're at karaoke, so we may not go. It is not in the forecast to be nice weather until Sunday.
In my mind, this kind of weather is just good for sleeping. The sound of the rain is so soothing.
I am determined, however, to get on my elliptical exercise bike today. Haven't done it since I broke my pelvis. I have done strength exercises...resistance bands and dumb bells.
You didn't mention what you intend to do, but I hope you are productive if that's what you want. And/or you get a chance to get in a bit of relaxation.
Wasn't yesterday to be the pets' appointment at the vet?

Sally talked about the laundry--LOL--It is raining here also-- I love it!!-- The wee boy--LOPEZ-- and Sushi are now going to the vet in town here in a month--The vet called and apologized--well--sort of--- for the huge mess with Beau----Did yu get to Karaoke? DeleteHi Lynda! It is 91 today in Ohio and 92 tomorrow! It is very humid. I went out for 10 minutes to plant a flower and my clothes were wet. I think I will get in the pool for the first time this evening. Hope we all get relief very soon! Enjoy your day and keep cool and love yourself!:)

I didnt know you taught fitness classes. Thats great. You really do it all. Women keep the world revolving.
I, mostly, love myself. Exercise classes, eating healthy (no sugar, limited fat and salt) and being on the move all day makes mind and body feel better.
Me and Sadie had an early start so we were in good shape inside today
