Something to think about--

Cute eh??----  and so true-- Balance your life --One part Serious and three parts FUN---

I am off to the grocery store --- have had many calls from Brazil this morning--Son #2---  took a walk in a park that he likes-and he sent a picture---It looks so calm doesn't it?--- So I guess he is balancing his life --the flight was serious--now he is  into the "fun" part--- getting to know Sao Paulo-

I need groceries--bananas---  so, will return-- Before I go, I must turn on the AC-- I guess that heat dome is here also---
I am trying to be strong this AM---  not panic about stuff I simply cannot get to--be strong----

                                                                        Think about YOU----

You are really all the books you read-- the sweetness in your laughter-- the songs you sing--the places you have been--the people you love--the photos in your bedroom-- Why do we forget all this and define ourselves by all the things we are not?---Something to think about--

  1. Good morning Lynda, what great inserts. Loved them. Yesterday, for whatever reason, I couldn't write in as it kept deleting. I must tell you I loved the "What the hell". It cracked me up as I say it in my head often about Ed's needing help constantly and sometimes it comes out of my mouth. It made me laugh. Thank you.
Yes, record heat coming to St.Louis too. The roofers are to start tomorrow. Poor guys.
    Great looking park in Brazil.
    Happy grocery run.
Sadie and I got an early start and house is in good shape.
Enjoy your day. Laugh and stay positive.
    Hugs from Marge/St.Louis

Warm here, too. Going to heat up. Tis summer!

Love the memes. So true! Life does need to be 1 part seriousness and 3 parts fun!

  3. It's Kathy. Yes, Tom, Daisy and I are driving to Roanoke, Virginia which is about 1250 miles from us. It's 2 full days of driving. We will visit with my daughter, SIL, Faith, Reese & Jamie for 3 days. Faith graduated from High School a few days ago and she will be going away to college in the Fall. We used to go every 2 years but it's been 5 years since we've been. There's so much to think about to get ready. And this morning at 7 am we got a frantic call from my daughter - water was leaking in her basement again. So we got dressed and went - something's wrong with her Air Conditioner. That kind of messed up everyone's day! But I'm glad it happened today, not tomorrow! I love that photo and happy to hear that Fred had a good day yesterday. Hopefully another one today. I may not be able to check your blogs - it depends on timing and availability. But I'll be thinking of you!

  4. Lynda, I saved that first meme!
Predicted record heat here, too...after a night of ferocious storms. We did not do karaoke. The storms terrify Lucky when the thunder and lightening are close. They woke me up just before 4 AM. I got up, played a couple games of huge spider solitaire, at a bowl of instant oatmeal, loved on Lucky and went back to bed. Didn't awaken again 'til 9:30!
My grandson loved his gifts yesterday!
Just mostly chillin' today. Hope you are, too.
Oh, I did send you that link on Messenger to Fly Girls. Sorry I goofed the first time.
Sao Paulo looks beautiful. No food photos this time? They must not have a McDonald's ;-)
Enjoy your day of rest...but knowing you, you will accomplish something good. {{{HUGS}}} Love, your sis Maggie

  5. In our teens, a sister and I took surfing instructions from a pair of cousins (brothers) when they were in their Beach Boy phase. My takeaway was that I'm not inclined to try again. Same takeaway for sister reinforced by the fact that when she fell from the board it conked her in head and she nearly drowned! We tried.
