Think Happy

-and it's raining--AGAIN---all day----and, it's hot---and the AC is on AGAIN! Lord love a Duck eh?----
I walked Lopez--in my bug suit --AND bug hat over my head--and my face --with 50,000 Mosquitoes swarming my face, -AND------ about 4 mosquitoes made it under my mesh bug hat .........AND...........I swallowed them----and I ---choked--It was terrible--..if the rain would only stop---This is Day #4-of rain--
AND---THIS IS  BANANA DAY----
AND--it is grocery day--------never a dull moment in this house---  I was sitting here typing and Lopez began to bark viciously-- It is the man to check the propane furnace-Apparently the gov't mandates it be checked over once every 10 yrs-so--down I went--3 levels--to the furnace room ---grabbed Lopez and put in in his crate---  Man oh man -- Lopez was going to kill him!-----If any of yu ever need a guard dog, I highly recommend a Chihuahua--

How is your day going?---Will yu be able to get even an hour in , to yourself?----Lordy Be! --Remember that , built inside you, are all the traits below------- YOU ARE IMPORTANT, YOU ARE STRONG-YOU ARE KIND__YOU ARE BRIGHT---- YOU ARE DESERVING__
I shall  check on you all  later on to-day---Try not to swallow those mosquitoes----and pray for sunshine--- AND STRENGTH--------

  1. Lynda, sure am glad I haven't seen a mosquito yet. They will start soon. Little bugs appear in my apartment, though. When we were re-habbed a couple years ago, they gave us new windows, screens, etc. I think that's where they're coming in. And up through the pipes that connect to the sewer system. Not many of them, just enough to be annoying. You will be happy when they're gone!
I know you got your hair 'done' yesterday. I had another thought, though. Did you ever get your guard dog and kitty to the vet? You had mentioned that Sushi didn't seem to be doing well.
It's early yet here. Haven't even had breakfast yet. Better get to it. I will check here later, too.
Have a productive day, sis. Hope we all manage to think happy for the greater part of our day. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
I do intend to think happy. That's a primary teaching of the Law of Attraction. "You are here for ... the joy."
Lots on my plate today. Shopping for cat food. I won't get as much as you will cuz my check doesn't post 'til late tomorrow.
Also never did get the new vacuum pushed around and things dusted yesterday. Had to help a friend, instead.

    1. Lopez and Sushi will be driven to the next town to the 24 hr Emergency vet--- and if that works out I will never go back to tjt vet here in town--Yu have a good memory Sis! --My book is good --I recommend it--"The Women"---about the nurses in Vietnam------ Sometimes I never accomplish what I want to do, like today, I planted flowers outside but never did much in the house--Hugs dear Sis!Lynda

  2. Extra protein, mosquitos, eh?

Seriously, the doorbell rang this morning, and Ember, in her crate, did NOT bark. That doggie conditioning has not been set up in her... yet.

Today's project is the start of my tub/shower conversion. Drop cloths are down, and this is pretty much "deconstruction day". Pray for Ember and me!

  3. Hi Lynda, loved the giraffe yesterday. I was busy from 4am until I went to bed at 9pm, pooped.
I'll decide to be happy today and thank you for reminder. Also, remember YOU are strong, kind, loving, caring and MORE.
I'm sorry, but I had to giggle about you swallowing mosquitoes in your bug suit. Gosh, they must be absolutely dreadful up there. You sure are getting a lot of rain, but hey it's NOT SNOW.
YES, I do take an hour for me. It's at 4am before himself gets up and starts needing whatever. I pray, meditate, express gratitude and check emails etc. on my phone. The time flies.
It's a gorgeous day in St.Louis...sun, light breeze and 70F this morning. Right now, windows open and AC off.
Grocery day..uugg. you do big shopping and putting it all away after dragging it inside is a work out.
Lopez is a Tanzanian Devil to invaders in his space. Chiwahwahs are very protective and can certainly raise a ruckus
Hoping himself is good as he stayed home yesterday.
Sadie and i got all the house chores done before 6am. I'll be getting ready to go to the gym for cardio class and to the pantry for stocking later.
Have a fabulous day and continue to be a cutie patootie extraordinaire.
    Hugs
    Marge/St.Louis

  4. It's Kathy. We have a guy in the driveway replacing the windshield and Daisy is having a fit! She also barks at delivery trucks - Mail, UPS, FedEx, and today she saw a van across the street that said Rapid Delivery. I'm not sure how she knew it was a delivery truck but she sure barked at him. And they have blocked part of our road (we live on a very busy road) so the cars line up in front of our house for about 2 hours every afternoon - she barks at each one of them! She makes sure she's protecting us. I hope you have a good day! It's a bit chilly here, feels kind of good.

  5. Rained overnight here and the neighbors 2 doors down had a tree on the parkway uprooted. Soggy ground. OY At least no property damage.

OH NO on swallowing mosquitoes! NOT a good thing.

Wow! Lopez sounds like a guard dog all right.

Definitely going to take some time for myself after we return.

And Ziggy is right . . . life is too short to be anything but happy! Especially LOVED the meme that I AM the storm. INDEED!!!

  6. Hi Lynda: Man you are getting a lot of rain which helps all those mosquitoes to multiply! We had lots of rain last night but none today. Hope yours stops real soon. Your grass will be really growing a lot too. Hope you got a nap in today when Lopez wasn't barking up a storm!. Hugs Brenda

  7. Hi Lynda! So sorry the bugs are so bad there! That must be awful and extra bad to swallow them. Glad your furnace is checked and done! Little Lopez doing his job to protect you. Good boy. My nephew and I went to lunch and a community sale. A good morning but the afternoon was hairy. Tommy was into everything being a yorkie brat and this, that and something else. Happy to be resting now! Sending Ohio hugs and strength to you!
