But, what if?-------

We have sunshine--and lollipops--- and a blue sky--The Hummingbird feeders are full---  The Chihuahua has been out and did his business---  and-----ALL SEEMS WELL IN THIS PART OF THE WORLD-- even the man of the house is OK--so far---I am trying to not buy groceries until to-morrow---I have great looking leaf lettuce in the frig--cold meat and fresh bread-- so--lunch is  waiting--

Overnight, Son#2 the Air Canada Pilot, flew from Montreal to Sao Paulo , Brazil--just landed a bit ago--                            Of course he was thinking of you all and sent some pictures.-----The picture below, is his route--over the Amazon---

This , he called, "Sunrise over the Amazon"--

And , I must tell you that , yesterday afternoon, I cleaned the car----What a job!---It hadn't been cleaned inside , since last summer---- It took me forever!--And, the day before, I cleaned the sunroom---and that was  a huge job--So, to-day can be a "sort of" rest day---

Do you ever wish that you had been born, to the Royal Family?--Lord love a Duck! Imagine being "waited on"---hand and foot?---I wonder how much they appreciate that--or is it just a nuisance for them?--Think what one could do---  I could read my books--walk more dogs--exercise more---visit nursing homes and talk to the residents----visit my Grandchildren more---- get back to watercolour painting which I used to do---AND----think of the gardens I could take care of---and you know, that is where my heart is!

Anyway, this is my life and   I am living it---

                                                                  "What the Hell"-- eh-

Are you having the best day ever??? We are alive---and we can handle anything--
Enjoy the weekend---I luv yu all and really do appreciate hearing from yu-

  1. Don't want to jinx it by saying so, but Ember and I are having a wonderful peaceful day, now that the workmen have all gone on their merry ways!

I haven't yet used the new shower, it's so pretty! I'm thinking a Father's Day Sunday morning first shower sounds appropriate!

Here's hoping the day continues for you and me in a calm and peaceful way! And wow! Sadie's been hard at work, hasn't she?

  2. Hi Lynda….Hope that you get some gardening time to enjoy today! It is a shame that there isn’t enough time to do what you REALLY want to do but have to do tasks like “clean the sunroom” …. Being an adult is hard!!!
Hope that your day continues to go well!❤️ Karen (Eissa7)

  3. My wonderful friend writes a wonderful blog!
You sound happy and satisfied, that helps make me happy, too.
Overcast and rainy here. It's to be all day and all night. Wonder if your weather came south.
I cleaned all the leather and dash in my car, but it really needs the floor vacuumed. Hopefully, I will get to it soon.
In a few minutes I will be on my way to my daughter's house to deliver my grandson's gifts and wish my son-in-law a Happy Father's Day.
When I return, lunch and a snooze before karaoke.
Sadie has already been lots of help today.
Did you ever to comments to our comments yesterday? I checked late last night. I will do so again.
Enjoy your weekend sis, and Happy Father's Day to Himself and your sons. (BTW, Sunrise over the Amazon is marvelous!) {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  4. It's Kathy. Beautiful sunrise over the Amazon! How cool to see his route! We are expecting rain sometime today. We're going to get haircuts sometime soon - I put our names on the list but it's quite a wait. Today I need to do all the little things that need to be done for our trip. But I'm so tired! Didn't sleep very well last night and didn't wake up until almost 9 am. So it feels like half the day is over already! I hope you have a good day today!

  5. LOVE the pictures from DS #2 the pilot. Cool sunrise!

Glad that things are as peaceful as they can be for you right now. Hurray!

As challenging as it is to be a ‘commoner’, I think I prefer it. Wouldn’t care for a whole lot of people watching my every move!

Today is a wonderful weather day. Appreciating that, as it is going to heat up and be rainy as the week progresses. Oh well. A day @ a time.

  6. Hi Lynda! Lovely day in Ohio before the high temps kick in tomorrow. Lots of mulching done and the driveway powerwashed. Thank goodness for my nephew. He helps so much. I wouldn’t care about being waited on in a Royal family as long as they do all the other stuff. Lol Glad your car is clean and the sunroom. Feels great, huh?! Your lunch sounds good. Pizza tonight. Spectacular photo! Tell the pilot it is appreciated! Enjoy your evening. Rest day tomorrow for sure! Get your bed done and rest. Hugs!
