Lynda, I saved that first meme to share. You always have good ones,
ReplyDeleteHope Sushi feels better. Since I have been giving old kitty food, his bowels have been formed but quite loose. Wish I could get him into the vet. He has to go for his rabies shot in a couple months. I will try to hold out for that. Hope you can get Sushi in, too, and that Lopez will get a clean bill of health.
YOU are strong...doing all the yard work, helping Sadie, caring for 2 pets and Himself. I don't know how you do it.
One of the best times ever at karaoke last night! Singing, dancing, laughing and loving on myself and my friends. Met some new people, made new friends, too!
Now it's time for my breakfast. Lucky has disappeared. He must be sleeping.
Hope you enjoy your day, sis. Remember when Sunday used to be considered a day of rest? Hope you get some. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
OH Maggie -- I always place planters of geraniums out along the road--I potted them to-day and wheel barrelled them out--along the back road--so that is done--Himself was angry today about everything-- When he gets like that I feel it may not be long and he might have to be placed somewhere--but--the rest of the day went well--I managed to get a wee nap in---happy to hear yu are enjoying the Karaoke --- YU need that outlet-- Hugs to yu-Lynda
DeleteRain always makes it smell so nice, especially a warmish springtime rain! I'm pretty tired as I read and type (Ember and Prisoner night work for me). But the day looks fresh-washed as we had rain here, too. Ember is in her den for now, to give me a little break and to keep to our routine.
ReplyDeleteHugs and wishes for a wonderful Sunday for you!
Anytime you need me to care for Ember I am he and ys, it is good to get a wee break away from her--and her from yu-Lynda
DeleteIt's Kathy. I love the courage quote - fits me exactly right now! The rain they said was coming has not come. Instead we have a beautiful day - at least for now. There may be storms later this afternoon or more likely this evening. Tom and I got up early this morning so we could go to church, but I sure could use a nap about now! I think everyone in our neighborhood are mowing, it's so loud. The food photos sure look good! My son was in the Peace Corps in Paraguay for two years. He tells a lot of interesting stories!
ReplyDeletekathy I hope that you got yer nap--=Did yu?--Yes Son#2 -Matt--is en route now -=-heading back to Toronto--Lynda
DeleteHi Lynda. Loved the inserts. Positivity, strength and courage....and as your dad said.."the good lord helps.those who help themselved" I agree.
ReplyDeleteNot sure I'd like the food in Brazil.
Glad pilot son is headed back.
Sushi is likely fine. Cats are strange critters as it's difficult to figure them out at times. Good to have her checked when you take Lopez.
Sadie and I did our chores early. It's NICE in St.Louis again today but a bit warmer. May need AC a little later.
The pet cemetery with the lovely pink flowers is so sweet. It is hard to imagine that under all that snow you now have lovely grass and flowers. Is your grandson no longer available to mow for you? You've got a big yard with a lot of work. Stay strong.
Need to roll. Think I'll try for a wee nap. The up at 4am is weearing me out.
Play your piano.
Hugs and blessings
Marge/St.Louis
Hi Marge-- I turned on the AC--then turned it off--kinda a weird day!--Yes Sushi seems better today--- but I shall take her when LOpez goes to the vet out of town. Funny how the pet cemetery was full of flowers as the snow melted- a busy day here today and Himself not happy--Nice to hear from yu-Lynda
DeleteHappy Sunday, Lynda! Took my nephew for coffee and macarons a bit ago so it is sip, sip Sunday for me. I am enjoying it with the windows open and birds singing. We had rain overnight in Ohio which cooled it down. Your yard looks lovely! I am happy with what I got done in the yard yesterday, too. Besides the dumb snake! LOL The ravioli plate looks delish. I recognize pizza and tomato on the other plate. I thank Matt for sharing! I sure hope Sushi feels better soon. I can’t imagine they can’t see her at the vet. Terrible! Kloi goes tomorrow for shots. Tommy gets a nail trim. Enjoy your Sunday and a new week ahead. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteThat dumb snake eh?--But it sounds l;ike you had a good day today-Lynda
DeleteYour home picture is beautiful!! Enjoyed seeing the plates of delicious Food too!
ReplyDeleteDonna_cps2
Hi Donna--- Yes our yard is a tiny bit of our world-- Hugs to yu-Lynda
DeleteHope Sushi is ok...son always sends pics of food and makes me hungry. LOL.....
ReplyDeleteSon #2 loves his food-- Sushi still with us-- Lynda
DeleteWell, everything looks like it is indeed growing and thriving! Yes, after winter it always amazes me how greenery pops back!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the food pics from Son #2. Yes, #2 shot looks like a ‘big mess of food’, but bet it was tasty!
Nice weather day here on Sunday. No a/c, though.
Awwwww, sorry to hear about Sushi. HOPE that they’ll see her when you bring Lopez in! Hard to see our fur babies don’t feel right. They cannot tell us what is hurting or making them feel ill.
Your Dad is indeed right . . . the Good Lord helps those who help themselves!
Love the courage meme. TRUTH!
Hugs
