I am Schmorky-Dorky and Whackadoodled out.

Good day to you---  Always lots going on --Our AC unit stopped in the night--and it is Saturday--so --not much luck getting someone to try to get it going again--

Right now it is turned off--It keeps running and for some reason, it is not pumping out any cool air--It might be the fan on the furnace--but then, what do I really know?-- I have called 3 plumbing and heating places and no luck getting them here on a Saturday--

And we are out of milk--and bananas--so, guess I will go for a few groceries and pray that someone calls us back---I have turned off the poor overworked AC unit--and opened widows--and will hopefully get back to yu later--

  1. Oh, dear! Always something, huh? I took a leaf out of your son #2's page and had motion sensor cameras installed on the front and the back entrances. The back deck is ALWAYS alerting that motion was detected... it is seeing the cat move, or the shadows cast by the leaves, shifting in the wind. Busy deck!

Here's hoping your AC is fixed soon, or the weather moderates... or both!

    1. On many of the motion detectors you can program them to only recognize humans or things over a certain height ... the kids set that up so that children walking to school and the little Chiuahuahs from down the street do not set them off. (Those Chiuahuahs think they own the block.)

  2. Oh, Lynda! So sorry. Did you clean the filter on the AC lately? I don't know what else to suggest as I just have a window room air conditioner.
Is it terribly hot for you today? Hopefully, there will be a breeze from the windows.
Neighboring towns here and parts of our town (Faribault...think I messaged you the photo of the bear roaming around here) flooded, too. Little League park is under water up to a big bridge that locals call the 'viaduct.'
Hope your shopping goes well, at least.
Weather will be okay for us tonight, and it is predicted to be a sunny, nice day tomorrow...finally!
Can you call one of your sons for suggestions on the AC? {{{HUGS}}} love, your sis, Maggie

  4. Gee whiz, is it still so hot, too? Darn it all. Here in Texas, the AC companies , most but not all, come 24 hours a day, the heat here is dangerous, people could die. I gues where you live, it is not so frantic yet. Careful. Any fans?

Sounds like our AC just a few weeks ago - always on, no cool air. Turned out to be a frozen coil and needed more coolant. $150 later and we’re good again. Hope yours fixes quickly as well!

  6. Hope the AC is something simple and not costly, but then everything is out of sight nowadays...
