Right now it is turned off--It keeps running and for some reason, it is not pumping out any cool air--It might be the fan on the furnace--but then, what do I really know?-- I have called 3 plumbing and heating places and no luck getting them here on a Saturday--
And we are out of milk--and bananas--so, guess I will go for a few groceries and pray that someone calls us back---I have turned off the poor overworked AC unit--and opened widows--and will hopefully get back to yu later--
Oh, dear! Always something, huh? I took a leaf out of your son #2's page and had motion sensor cameras installed on the front and the back entrances. The back deck is ALWAYS alerting that motion was detected... it is seeing the cat move, or the shadows cast by the leaves, shifting in the wind. Busy deck!
ReplyDeleteHere's hoping your AC is fixed soon, or the weather moderates... or both!
On many of the motion detectors you can program them to only recognize humans or things over a certain height ... the kids set that up so that children walking to school and the little Chiuahuahs from down the street do not set them off. (Those Chiuahuahs think they own the block.)
DeleteThat sounds good--- Lynda
DeleteYes I like the cameras--Matt the Pilot set them up--The AC guy is supposed to be here to-morrow-- in the morning-- Lordy Be!-- So, how is the baby??--Your pooch???-- Lynda
DeleteThe AC guy will be here tomorrow-- I hope--but it has cooled down a lot and is raining--and--Yes I like the cameras--- Matt the pilot set them up Lynda
DeleteOh, Lynda! So sorry. Did you clean the filter on the AC lately? I don't know what else to suggest as I just have a window room air conditioner.
ReplyDeleteIs it terribly hot for you today? Hopefully, there will be a breeze from the windows.
Neighboring towns here and parts of our town (Faribault...think I messaged you the photo of the bear roaming around here) flooded, too. Little League park is under water up to a big bridge that locals call the 'viaduct.'
Hope your shopping goes well, at least.
Weather will be okay for us tonight, and it is predicted to be a sunny, nice day tomorrow...finally!
Can you call one of your sons for suggestions on the AC? {{{HUGS}}} love, your sis, Maggie
No I must ask the AC guy to show me how to get to the filter--He said he would be here in the morning--I hope nothing else goes on the fritz-It has turned much cooler this evening---=which is wonderful--Geez--hope nothing else goes--It is costly--- Yes--I got a few groceries this afternoon--so to-morrow I can be here to see the AC guy--- Lynda
DeleteWackadoodled! LOL Lynda, you crack me up! So sorry about your AC! Come see your daughter and I! I will babysit Lopez! Lol stay cool! Hot in Ohio. Cool down finally tomorrow! Yay!
ReplyDeleteIt would be so fun to meet eh?? The AC guy comes tomorrow morning--I hope--=Lynda
DeleteYes, it would be much fun! Cooling down, thank goodness!
DeleteGee whiz, is it still so hot, too? Darn it all. Here in Texas, the AC companies , most but not all, come 24 hours a day, the heat here is dangerous, people could die. I gues where you live, it is not so frantic yet. Careful. Any fans?
ReplyDeleteYes lotza fans--but it has turned sorta cold outside-AC guy coming to-morrow--Lynda

ReplyDeleteSounds like our AC just a few weeks ago - always on, no cool air. Turned out to be a frozen coil and needed more coolant. $150 later and we’re good again. Hope yours fixes quickly as well!
Hope the AC is something simple and not costly, but then everything is out of sight nowadays...
