Sunday, Sept. 22, 2024--- FALL

I do like the above--lift someone up---let someone feel good--important--happier----smiling at someone, stopping to take the time to speak to that person--It seems like I am always in a hurry when I am out and about---but, sometimes I meet someone that I haven't seen for a long time---But--Doesn't it make you walk away happier?--I stopped to talk--to wish them well--tell them how good it is to see them---  We both walk away with good feelings--

Son#1 wants to become a Jamaican citizen--- like his Dad was--so, he needs to show his Dads passport--- which is not up to date--  Himself is now a Canadian citizen- So at 11am, we are going for passport pictures to up date our passports--which is a good idea anyway---It means, "A trip to town"---another trip to town--

Yesterday a miracle happened--The Pharmacy called, and told me to come and pick up my pills--"I didn't order any pills", I replied.  It turned out the Doctor  had ordered the medication which I am not allergic to--FINALLY!--And, the stitches are supposed to come out to-morrow-- Hopefully  these meds will clear up the infection--It is truly an act of God!!!

Thank you---to the Doctor!
Lopez and I must "hoof it" up the road again---The sun is out---  cool so far to-day--AC is on however--and--guess what? FALL is just around the corner--

  1. Well, glad that you got your Biaxin. Hope that helps the discomfort. And hopefully the stitches will be ready to come out tomorrow.

Safe travels to town to renew the passport pictures.

Beautiful pictures of the fall colors. They're starting to pop out here, too.

Take good care and safe travels to town.

  2. Happy the pills worked out, Lynda.
Just so you won't lose any benefits from being a Canadian, your change of passports will be a good idea.
I plan to stay an American until something like that T person makes things terrible. Then (even thought the cost of living is higher) I'd like Denmark, Free health care, education, an emphasis on equality Google says it's a challenge getting started there, but there are many support options. It is a Happy place to live.
Retirement check posted. My smaller check. Will do some shopping and pay bills that are due. I hope I will have enough to get Lucky to the vet! He's begging me to play now.
Will sign off, dear, and check back later. I will trust that your trip to town will go well. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  3. It's Kathy. I'm so glad you got the medication that you need! That's such good news. Things are quiet here today. We had rain overnight and are expecting evening storms. I have to remember to get Daisy outside by mid-afternoon because she won't go outside in the rain. Yes, I have 2 metal plates and some rods and screws in my back, and I also have 2 fake knees. I had to go to Court with my daughter last month and boy do I set off all the alarms! Yesterday was a pretty good day but today I'm feeling the pain! Just took my second round of Advil, I hope that helps. I agree, it's nice to stop and talk when you see someone you know - makes us both feel good! Hope your day is going well.

  4. Hi Lynda, Wow your autumn colors are stunning already. So beautiful. Very dry here with a few leaves dropping due to heat and dry. AC on again today.
Another reason to go to town lol. Seems it's a daily thing.
i hope the correct antibiotics kick the infection. I hope they don't remove sutures too soon and cause another problem. Glad Dr. sent your script Yay
Thank you for reminder to smile and speak to others. Always good to flash a smile and it cost nothing.
    Makes 2 people feel better.
Rest if you can. Stay strong and positive. You are amazing. I want to be like you when I grow up. 🥰
