A little of this and that--with Snow Tires!

This was yesterday--Snow is not falling to-day--yet--Hopefully it will turn milder now!--  So-I was at the Dealership and the snow tires are now on the car--Yeah!!!!  --$ 60-- That is why I am late blogging.--  When I got back home, the RONA truck was in the driveway--- with the new battery snow blower--FOR ME!--I am so excited! -Hopefully I will be able to use it and not have to beg  Himself to help me out----or wait for the neighbour to come.
I know that you all will be awesome today--  here it is "Hair Day"--(Lordy BE-Another outing!)---
I look like the Lady in the above picture right now--It will be so good to get  it tamed down--Life is busy isn't it?--  Any little extras in my day, and with all I usually do,  by night I am completely pooped !

So--- lunch time here. How is your day going?-Do you have snow in your area?-Do you put snow tires on your vehicles?---Do your kids worship the ground you walk on?---  (I'm asking because  it doesn't happen here)_Do you sometimes feel like your grown kids don't like us to "age"?-----Maybe they are afraid to come out because they know there is always stuff  Himself and I cannot do--AND WE ASK THEM--- ---Oh well---

Positive Energy-I need to give off more of that!--When I get back this afternoon, "I WILL" lift those summer tires onto the shelf-- Positive Energy--I CAN DO THAT! Lord love a Duck----

  1. Glad you have tne snow tires on the car now. What a chore!

Oh hope you enjoy your new snow plow.

Having a busy but good day. Miss Lilly to the groomer, then a walk, the groceries. Now home. Going to stay put.

We have all weather tires on our vehicles.

BWAHAHAHAH! Do your kids worship the ground we walk on? NOPE on that one. LOL And YES sometimes I do feel like my kids don’t what us to age, but . . . from my vantage point, aging is the best option!
I do try not to overload them with things to do, but always one or two things that DH nor I can do. I don't think that's too bad.

The temps are warming a little and the sun is out, so shall get my Vit. D.

  2. Snow plows?. Snow tires? All foreign items to those of us that live in California. Seems like so much work living in the far north as you do, don’t know how you do it, but you do! Your daily activities never cease to amaze me. You are definitely one strong woman!
My oldest son only seems to notice me when he needs babysitting (2-3 times a week). I do it for free while he and his wife are at work, but the 2 or 3 times we’ve been out to breakfast or lunch this year, he was sure I paid my share. Not sure what gets into them. My Dad babysat for us, but we always gave him spending money for his helpfulness.
My other son and daughter (twins) help me out from time to time. Have to remember they have their own lives now, with jobs and families that keep them busy I suppose.

  5. Snow tires On! Not sure about you lifting the other tires on the rack. Maybe one of the boys will pop in soon. Ohhh I hear you about the kids....does seem you get help from your boys. I never see mine and seldom hear from him. Thus far, when I need help I have to pay someone to do the work. My son always tells me how busy they are and how stressful their jobs are which means dont call. He lives about an hour away. At least your kids are close.
I hope you don't have to use that snow blower but you likely will.
    Enjoy hair day. Relax.
    Hugs

  7. No snow tires here - live in IL just 30 miles from St. Louis Missouri. But I do get snow. Have a Kubota tractor that I could shovel snow off my very long driveway, but my wonderful neighbors always seem to get here before I get out and scrape the snow for me! I am lucky. My kids do try to help me - well two of them do. Have 3 that live within 20 miles....and one in CA....who I know can't help me with house things. But middle son just replaced a toilet for me this week! They do help me, but sometimes it just doesn't happen as quickly as I would like! But I will not complain because at 75 there are many things I cannot do myself since my sweet husband passed 3 years ago! So glad you got your snow tires on and have a new snow blower! WooHoo!

  8. No snow yet, except for one snow shower that didn't stick. It will be almost 80F Saturday and Sunday! No snow tires on the car, either.
As far as the kids go...I had to ask my doctor son for $ so I could pay rent. It has gone up $60, and I couldn't do it as I also had to pay for license plate tags for my car. He always comes through...IF I can get through to him. He is so busy he rarely checks his messages. I am not allowed to call him in his office unless I am on my death bed! Hopefully, that won't happen for quite a while.
Lynda, I GAINED 5 POUNDS! My kids will be thrilled. Since being Dxded with Crohn's and pancreatitis...I seem to be able to eat anything and everything and not gain. Guess that's changing. Halloween mini candy bars and banana cake bars with cream cheese icing from my local gas station's bakery?
Happy you got your snow tires. I've always had to get alone without them. The new snow blower will be easier for you, too.
We park outside and have to shovel the snow between the cars outselves. When the snow plow shovels our lot, all the snow is piled up behind the cars, too. Once in a great while they have us move our cars to the lower lot or across the street so our whole lot can be done.
I am not looking forward to that. I have good boots and warm gloves, though...and I am a hat wearer. I will be fine.
    You will, too. {{{HUGS}}}

  9. DO hope you're okay. Came home from work to log onto the computer, and one of the first things I do is come here to read your blog for the day. You know, you should write a column for the newspaper! I read your stuff just like I would read a favorite columnist's article!

Anyway, living in Central Ohio, we maybe only get one BIG snow, generally in January, sometimes in February. It was a doozy, though, last winter. We had ice, then snow, then a coat of ice over top of all that. I had to get out my snow cleats to walk the dog, but I feel he needs his daily exercise, and so I faithfully walk him around the block here (really just a 10 min loop around the condo streets). I did slip and fall last winter, not so fun. Didn't have the cleats on then. Really, I prefer it when the snow plow DOESN'T come, because it's just more slippery then. Cleats can grip the snow so well. I'm looking forward to just a little snow, but not ice. I'm getting up there and becoming not so fond of it.
