Good Morning, we have a lot of maples here too! And they do turn a very pretty red color! The applesauce looks very yummy! It’s so true, you never know what a day will bring! Have a good one! Dorothy
ReplyDeleteGood morning,
ReplyDeleteYour Maple trees are spectacular. Giggled at your comment about the leaves all falling in your yard.
Hope you never meet that cougar.
Applesauce looks delicious.
Don't overdue packing up sunroof. I do hope son comes out to temd to dock. I think he will.
Oh we'll see German food lol
Loved the message inserts.. always thought provoking, positive and inspirational....just like you.
Have a great day.
Hugs
Have a wonderful day! The pictures are so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteBe careful out there with Cougar! Yikes!!!
I’ll be canning tomatoes today. It is definitely Fall out there. I already miss my sunny days. I love the hot summer days. Makes my bones happy.
Hopefully the son will be there for your docks.
A nap sounds wonderful! Enjoy!

Such beautiful colors. You really do live in a lovely part of Ontario. Please be extra careful when you and Lopez are out walking with the cougar around. Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteLove your newsy blog today Lynda and all the beautiful photos of the coloured leaves on the trees.
ReplyDeleteApplesauce looks mighty good too, Yum!
Do you not have another spot to walk since there definitely is a cougar roaming where you & Lopez walk?? I'd sure be extra careful, your first time meeting him could be your last, Yikes! I'm just concerned about you, my friend.
Hope your son comes to take the dock in, doesn't he have to go right in the water to do that? The water temp must be getting cold, brr.
Sending lottsa love and many hugs to you, Fred, & your fur babies. xoxo
Your trees are beautiful! I am glad I have mostly white pine trees....and a couple of flowering cherry trees so I don't have to mess with too many leaves! Grass is growing more slowly and pool people came and winterized my pool - so now I don't have to deal with it every day! I'm looking forward to some more relaxing days! Now I just have to get the gazebo down and outdoor furniture all stored away, but am waiting as I still want to sit out there while we still have some warm days! And your applesauce looks yummy! Love those fresh apples!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colors! And sooo glad that cougars don’t care for old-er ladies and chihuahuas. LOL
ReplyDeleteYour applesauce sounds wonderful! Love homemade applesauce.
Glad your DS#2 made it to Germany. Hope you get some pictures of the German food he tastes!
Here’s to a beautiful Sunday.
Hugs

I've never made applesauce but I understand it can be very tasty! Maybe one day!!!
ReplyDeleteThe Red leaves are lovely.........thanks for sharing. Hope to get some pics from here to share...........Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteYour trees are ahead of ours in turning their Autumn colors on. No huge surprise, considering the difference in latitude!
ReplyDeleteYour autumn leaves are gorgeous. Ours are just beginning to turn a little. Scary thoughts of the cougar 😨 Please be careful! Do you carry your phone along on the walks? Just in case you ever need someone. Your applesauce looks so good...I know yall will enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteI get all kinds of apple recipes in my email. My faves are still mom's apple pie and grandma's apple crisp!
ReplyDeleteSince I am doing today's blog and yesterdays in reverse, I know the docks are in now.
Lots of preparation for the snow.
The fall colors are really glorious now.
I also love the way the trees look covered with snow. It's so inconvenient, though.
We will survive. We have holidays to help us get through. Soon we will be looking forward to spring! {{{HUGS}}}
When I make applesauce, all I remove via the Foley food mill is the stems, the seeds, & the seed casings (the sharp things one runs across when eating the raw apples.) No cinnamon, though I do like it, but not when I'm canning a whole bushel.
ReplyDeleteAs usual I'm behind on your posts and always trying to catch up. Wow, you live in a beautiful place!! Enjoy the color, and I like to enjoy it vicariously through you! Warren starting to get color around here too, but I'm in an urban/suburban environment so there's not nearly as much. Watch out for the cougar!!
