Don't Be the Same-Be Better!

Now--Isn't that just the best  thing to read, early in the morning?--LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL!-----Just read it --again----and again!--If only I could remember  the above--ALL-LLL--LL day! --

I am up--It is pitch black outside--cool too-with heavy rain! Son #2 is winging his way back , from London, England-I see they were late leaving. I told him yesterday that all of you were awaiting his pictures of food. He laughed---said, "Well, it is London, but I'm going for lunch so will see what I can do!"

This arrived shortly  after--the pictures of  fish and chips--with mushy peas-

I guess this is different cheeses---
His comment was, "Look at how cheap these cheeses are--"-but----I couldn't figure that out.----

I believe I will be able to stay home to-day--will do groceries tomorrow, early-Yesterday Himself, Lopez and I , did a few errands in town--sent  some $$$ to Grandson in Ohio --It is his Birthday---  Here he is with bis Mom, after a football game he starred in-
I must carry on here--It is very dark--cool too, outside! ---I must add too, when I was coming here , into the computer in the study, there was Himself--PUTTING HIS HEARING AIDS IN---Can you believe that?--  Those women at the hearing clinic do wonders--AND HE LIKES THEM--does what they say--(He doesn't listen to me!)- I got them a gift card yesterday which I will drop off next week, as they won't take any money for their services.-- Just seeing those ears going in, makes my day-Lord love a Duck eh!-----------WE CAN BE BETTER---  to-day for sure!
Son#2's --that Air Canada Pilot-----his big bird-- if yu look real close, yu may see him sitting up there in the cockpit-

  4. Mushy peas? No thanks...I like mine whole! The fish and chips look great, though. Similar to what we get at Culver's, but we can choose mashed potatoes and gravy there, too.
It's really chilly here, too...and damp. My car windows were iced up this morning.
The fall colors are so beautiful, aren't they? Wish fall could continue until spring...skipping the wintertime. I know there are winter sports enthusiasts that love it, however.
Tonight is karaoke with our favorite deejay. Look forward to it so much.
Happy Himself is wearing his hearing aids. I haven't put mine in yet. I just turn up the radio when I am by myself.
You and yours have a great weekend, Lynda.
    I love your family photos! {{{HUGS}}}

  5. Thanks for the great pictures! There sure are a lot of cheese types there, just like here. Even reduced fat, and, of course, the ones just for burgers! I enjoyed the fish and chips, and peas, thanks to your son for taking pictures ! Glad Himself listens to Authority figures, we wives are not that! Enjoy your day inside, out of the weather!

  6. Glad himself is wearing his hearing aids again - makes life so much easier for you and it probably makes him feel better too. Love the fish & chips, authentic from London. Interesting photo of the cheeses. I wish we had a greater selection at our grocery stores. My husband and I ran some errands yesterday, then had to take Daisy for her annual check up. We were all pretty exhausted last night!

  7. A Happy Saturday to you. Hope you got to stay home and had a peaceful day, as I see it's nearing 5 p.m. here, so your day is close to over out there in the NorthEast.

The fish and chips look lovely but not so good for me. Nice day here, but the cold snaps will continue.

  8. HI LYNDA, glad to hear himself is wearing his ears....who knows why men will listen to someone else tell them the same thing you have done and they won't listen to us....David was in the hospital which is why I was not home to comment on all your blogs...now he is in a rehab center until he gets stronger. They pulled 30+ lbs. of fluid off him and he has been diagnosed with emphysema & COPD in addition to all his other issues.
Just an update and I hope y'all had a great Thanksgiving. Blessings from me to you
