All is OK here -Good thing I didn't cave in yesterday---so-- Lord love a Duck!---There is always to-morrow-- and, the good Lord made sure that Himself is more himself--at least for to-day-
We have sun--cold temperatures-- and now we have Chihuahua paths all around our front lawn--This morning Lopez seemed to welcome the new foot paths and used them to do his business.
Son#2 , is in England, and sent food pictures back-- but--I have no idea what the dishes are-- Do any of you recognize them?
He returns to Toronto this evening--He says he has never seen snow there-- Interesting--So, it's nap time- I'll take my book and hit the couch --- The sun shining in the window here feels warm--I hope to-day is a good day for you--- and if it's not, make it a good day-- --
You really are special--I know, you are telling yourself, "She is just saying that--and to everyone-- "----BUT_____YU better believe it!
Great news that himself is more like himself today! No idea what the food pics are but please tell your son that we appreciate him sharing all of his food adventures with all of us! It is a bright, sunny day here in Ohio, too! Coming through the windows feels wonderful! It's 24 degrees. In the 40's all week starting tomorrow. A heatwave. lol I am sure it is much colder where you are. Come visit your daughter and I! Hope you have a wonderful Sunday, book in hand and a nice nap. Stay strong and take care! Hugs!:)
ReplyDeleteHey, I'm in Ohio, too! What part of Ohio do you hail from? I am in Newark, a recent transplant from Columbus!
DeleteI am glad himself is more like himself today . . . I am happy for you but still worried because there is still a problem that needs to be addressed for your well being as well as his. Read your book, have a nap but tomorrow is a new day and a new week in which you can try and get something going to help you out of the situation you are increasingly finding yourself. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
ReplyDeleteGlad that Himself is more Himself today. That’s a hallelujah.
ReplyDeleteNot a clue about the food, but the first one is definitely sea food! LOL
Good for you taking a nap!

So happy for you about Himself's mood! Also that you get to have a nap. After karaoke last night and getting to sleep about 2 AM, I'm too pooped to pop (my mom's expression). In 45 minutes, though, I an scheduled to go down to our community room for bingo with other residents. 5 cents a card, most play 4 cards...the winner gets all the $.
ReplyDeleteThe food looks good...a recognize shrimp, asparagus, what the call chips (French fries) ... not sure what else. You could make a photo book..."Foods of the World." {{{HUGS}}}
Enjoy your book and nap. I can’t be sure of the food groups.
ReplyDeleteHappy things are better, more normal today. Enjoy your book and nap.
ReplyDeleteHugs
Glad himself is better today. At least you can relax and enjoy yourself today. Tomorrow, please try to call the Alzheimer's society and see if you can talk to someone to get some help or information. Lopez will be happy with his own paths outside! Take care and have a good evening.
ReplyDeleteRejoicing in the days when Himself is more himself! It was a good day here, the temperature was milder than it has been the past week or so. Stay strong... good advice to all of us!
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a lovely Sunday. Yummy London food.
