You gotta pretend everything's okay.

It is a good day-- so far-- sunny--  cold tho--minus 11 C when I got up--Little Lopez and I , put on our Parkas  and "hoofed" it up the back road---It was freezing--  He is a pretty good little guy to run along beside me in his bare paws-and he did his business-

I got up at 4am-- Our bedroom was only 67F---Our room is the coldest room ion the house--always--

 I tip toed down and turned up the furnace--then went back to bed, and couldn't get back to  sleep---I was worrying about everything under the sun-- (Moms words!)---You see, I do the worrying as Himself has no idea what is going on anywhere in the world--nor does he ever think about anything ever going wrong---and so I worry--and-I even worry-  about just me worrying--It sounds crazy doesn't it?----And you know what?--  Worrying doesn't change things--

Thoughts of hope, faith and victory-- That's what I must think about--

Life does turn out---It always does-- and sometimes in ways that are better-- Lord love a Duck!--  I guess,  and even if I had a million dollars , I 'd still worry about  stuff!--Do you worry?----  have you always been a "worry wart"?--  -- But you know, when I sit at the piano, I never am worrying about anything--

  2. Cold here, too...and snow! Not real deep yet...the snow falling is tiny flakes. It's enough to cover the cars and it's starting to build up on the ground.
    When I catch myself with a worrying thought, kinda like your 'posters,' I remind myself that, "Everything always works out for me." (from the Law of Attraction). And I know it does. Even when something 'goes wrong,' something better always comes of it.
    We gotta believe...and play our music!!!!! {{{HUGS}}}

    Your bedroom is chilly but thats good sleeping temp, so they say.
    Worry doesn't change anything. Faith and hope...and prayer. Things will work out as they are supposed to. Believe! And, play your piano.

  6. I sometimes wonder if others have noticed this phenomenon in themselves, told to me by a family member: "when everyone else is worried and anxious, I'm calm, because they have the worrying part covered; when everyone is calm, and I seem to be the only one seeing the problems, that's when I worry!"

  7. I used to be a worrier but some years back I realized that whether I worried about things or didn't worry - things turned out the way they were suppose to. Maybe not the way that I thought they should, but in retrospect they turned out the right way! Take care and enjoy each and every day! Oh, and we got a lot of snow overnight on the morning that I had to drive to the gym. But I said a little prayer before I left and I made it there and back with no trouble!

  8. Yes, Lynda….I am a professional worrier….I can worry about everything and anything AND it is worse during the dark hours of the night. I can so relate!! BUT, I do always try to remind myself that worry only steals the joy of the moment and doesn't accomplish a darn thing! ❤️Eissa7

  9. I honestly never worry about anything. I used to in my 20s but learned that everything, but everything will work out as it needs to. Even those things that I considered bad at the time, I can see all the good that came out of it because I know that God always brings good out of bad. I firmly put the day in His hands and let go.

  10. That's really cold! I know it's difficult but try not to wast your precious time in worrying but use it in actions. (((hugs)))
