We shall have the best day ever!---I just know it!

I shall make up my mind--to "Have a Beautiful Day"--We have sunshine-- Both the boys (as in a German and a Chihuahua)--have been out--and--the best part of to-day is--WE ARE A PART OF THIS DAY! Lord love a Duck! Could it get any better?--AND----  Halloween is over! Praise the Lord! -

This is the one wee girl who knocked on our door last night-Son#1's daughter-I was sent pictures of some of our other Grandchildren--

These 2 pictures are of our daughter's 2 children in Ohio-I took 2 huge chocolate bars to Son#3's 2 girls who are too old to TRICK OR TREAT--- --I did not want them to feel left out--below, is wee Lopez this morning, eating his breakfast--

I must tell yu too, that Son#2 is in California--LAX--(airplane talk)- heading back to Toronto to-night-AND----  HIMSELF seems happy this AM--  I was playing the piano and he asked me to play more-said , "it sounded good to his ears " (but--remember--he is deaf!)----LOLOL-

Sadie (who is really me)-is waiting at the door-- She did a marvellous job yesterday cleaning the upstairs bathroom--to-day she will do our bedroom--My Hair Dresser says, clean one room a day  well --I am chatting away here--I must get moving---Hmmmmmm---TRYING NOT TO WORRY- ALSO-is a good thing---because I do know, in the end, everything does work out the way it should--maybe not the way I imagine, but  perhaps in a better way--You just never know!

I do not need to shop ----We have Bananas----  and , soon we will get more sleep--Our clocks go back Nov. 6th--this weekend--To-day will be  the best day ever--I just know it!----SMILE!

  1. Cute pictures of the grands. Only one TorT visitor at your house last night. Giving chocolate bars to older grands gets the candy out of your house. Good
    Have a great day.
Yes. Play your piano. We all love it when you play.
    It will all work out.
    Hugs

  2. Lynda, it is 'music to my ears' to hear that your day has started off so well and it sure will continue to do so.

A question - does Lopez keep his leash on inside the house? Some of your photos, like this one, shows it's on. I'm just curious - or nosy, LOL.

Enjoy this lovely first day of November.
Love and hugs to you, Fred and your fur babies xoxo

    1. Yes, that leash is on in the house--more than its off-- and sometimes I see him, picking up his leash and running with it-- I can catch him better-- LOLOL-- He is a good little boy--but quite feisty over bones-- got into a tussle with big Beau over a bone-- Beau snapped at him and Lopez went to bite big Beau--but--I was right there and grabbed him--put him in his crate for a bit as he is not to be so bad- Lynda -=-Thank yu for commenting-

  5. We only had 2 sets of 2 kids come here...both sets were grandkids of residents here. Go figure. Now we have so much candy! Wonder if we froze the chocolate would it be good for next year? Hmm...
Your photos are cute. Love to see the kids in their outfits.
Himself isn't completely deaf, is he? I am sure he hears your music. Bet your furbies love it, too. My kitty loves music...the country I have on during the day, the new age type classical with nature sounds I have on when I meditate. In fact, when I put that on, he curls up on my lap (in the recliner where I meditate) and goes right to sleep.
I believe LAX stands for Los Angeles airport. Here we are MSP for Minneapolis/Saint Paul.
We do worry sometimes, but I have been taught that when I catch myself I should, "choose a better thought." It works if I remember in time.
It's always a great day to have a beautiful day, Lynda. Reading your blog always reminds me.
Warmish and sunny here, too. It will be over 73F again in a couple days. After that, it is predicted that COLD will set in for the winter.
    We can make it to spring. The holy-days will help see us through. {{{HUGS}}}

  6. It is a good day to have a good day! Cloudy and been rainy the last couple days but warm enough to have a window open so can’t complain. I love the pics of the kids and so nice of you to take candy to the big kids. Oh how I wish they would just leave the time change alone! Have a great day!:)

  7. Glad your day is starting out so wonderfully! I can almost hear you playing the piano! Looks to be a nice day here - sun is shining and temp should reach 70 degrees! Good day for me to take a walk.....but I have so many things to do today and I am slow at getting started! I like your hairdresser's idea about cleaning one room a day!

  8. Here's an idea that is safer for a dog in the house than a loose leash -- a harness that includes a handle on the top to grab. This makes it easy to quickly grab and lift a small dog AND reduces the risk of getting the leash tangled on something or someone which can become harmful. Chewy.com has a few examples of these.

    1. PS - harness handle doesn't work for dogs that sleep or roll around on their backs like our two do. We have a dual walking lease that has two handles close to their bodies if they need to be held back quickly.

    2. I shall look onto that harness --It sounds good=-Lynda

  9. It's great to hear that himself is having a good day and I like that he enjoys your piano playing. My mom played the piano and I loved listening to her play! That is one thing that I really miss. We are having unseasonably beautiful weather, just getting ready to take my Daisy for her walk. Have a great rest of your day!

  11. Lopez is looking a bit LESS "wee", but then I'm sure beside Beau he still looks tiny! Glad you got to see the grand kids' costumes and all. A great end to October with Halloween, and a fine start to November!

  13. Awwww, adorable Halloween pictures.

Ah well, take the good where it comes! Glad that Himself is happy and likes your music.

WE turn our clocks back on Sunday morning, too, well, really . . . we do it on Saturday night before bedtime. Hope that Miss Lilly realizes it’s a day for an extra hr. sleep! Doubt it, though.
