---and the day after that, in the U.S.--- It will be the Christmas season- ----exciting!----
I am going for bananas --as soon asa I can get Himself moving here---- We do not even have one rotted banana in the house--I shall chat afterwards--- All is well here-- I hope it is the same where you live---Do not feel sorry for herself-- (I seem to this AM!)-----
To-day will be as good as we want it to be--if we just smile and be strong!-WE CAN DO THIS! I took time yesterday , to make peanut butter cookies --had to show them to yu-- ready for the young Grandchild-
Good morning, I hope you have a beautiful day also! Your cookies look delicious and your grandchildren are very lucky. I hope your trip for bananas goes well and the rest of your day is quiet. Take care.
ReplyDeleteOh Madeline-It has been a good day--Groceries are expensive but we have too eat-- Hugs my friend-Lynda
DeleteOh PB Cookies! Yum! Currently I have a kitchen sink that's not draining very well so a plumber is coming tomorrow. So no baking Pumpkin Pie for me today or tomorrow probably. And so no pie for Thursday. I know we don't have Thanksgiving in Australia, but I'm from Michigan and will be celebrating with a few friends. I'm buying us all KFC and was planning on having pumpkin pie to serve too. Oh well. Two of my kids will be 34 and 35 on Thanksgiving, too, and sadly it's also the same week that my beloved Himself, Rod, passed away and I keep reliving moments from that last week in my head. I miss him so very much. We were soulmates. I know it's been 4yrs, but that doesn't make it any easier. And I've learned that grief has it's own timetable. It will ebb and flow, and right now it's a flood. But I will put my chin up and try to keep it up, and try to think of all the things I have to be grateful for, including that I have a home to live and food in the pantry and fridge. I have solar power and friends to feast with. Thank you, Linda for letting me vent / cry on your shoulder and for all your positivity. ❤️
ReplyDeleteGod Bless you! You can vent any time!-- If I could, I would phone yu-- Yes, you must miss your soulmate! And it must be hard! But--I bet he is watching over you--4 years since you spoke to him?--- But I know he hears yu! I hope yu keep talking to him--Yes, yu are fortunate to have a home--and food and 2 boys?----- I wish I lived closer to you-- Thank yu for sharing your life with ,me!--Lynda
DeleteYour cookies look delicious! I haven’t made any in years, decades. Did buy some once from Pillsbury, just put on a pan and bake. Not sure if those are still around. Hurry up and get your bananas, hope the price is not bad.
ReplyDeleteI bought more groceries-- almost $300 --- Isn't that terrible?-- Yes the peanut butter cookies are delicious--I hadn't
Delete'made them in years- -=- Hugs, Lynda

Your banana poster is funny! I have 4 fresh ones.
ReplyDeleteNot as cold here, either and mostly sunny. Very little breeze. How nice! No cold forecasted 'til after Black Friday.
People will be shopping then for deals on holiday gifts. 'Cept people like me.
Does Lopez still sit with Himself in the car while you shop? You must feel under pressure to hurry then. That's not as enjoyable shopping trip. Might cause you to spend less $, though. ;-)
Not much going on here. Dishes to wash and laundry (always, it seems).
Hoping all five of you have an awesome day. We can make it that way...as an online friend just let me know. {{{HUGS}}}
Yes , Lopez and HImSelf wait in the car--- and it was snowing-- It takes forever to put the groceries away---- YU are not doing the "gift thing"-?--- I am not sure how I will handle all that Xmas stuff-- maybe gift cards-- Hugs Lynda
DeleteMy husband loves bananas. He has to go to the store for milk about twice a week and he always comes home with them. I'd like to keep a couple to make banana bread but he eats them as fast as he can. I'm glad your weather is a bit more cooperative today. We are having such a nice day that I will finally be able to take Daisy for her walk this afternoon!
ReplyDeleteDaisy always sounds like a great little dog-Lynda
DeleteLike your bananna poster. Seems I'm going for bananas at least every other day. They are either way too green or close to won't last when I buy them.
ReplyDeleteMore comfortable temps today...finally.
Your cookies look spectacular. I stopped baking because I eat the stuff and the extra weight follows.
Have a great day. Play your piano.
Hugs
Yes I have been eating a cookie with the applesauce- Lynda
DeleteGrandma's cookie jar... it's a classic! Hope your trip for bananas was successful. Gotta have our potassium, right?
ReplyDeleteYes Barb--- WE need bananas-- LOL--- Hugs my friend-Lynda
DeleteYummy cookies! Lucky grandchild. I hope you found the best bananas in town. Have a happy day.
ReplyDeleteYour cookies look so good!!!At least it's a bit warmer for a few days. Any Xmas stuff I buy, which is not much, I do mostly gift cards. A lot of the younger people prefer them to so they can buy what they want. Have a good evening.
