So-- Now that I have accomplished "Zilch"-- (as Dad used to say)- I must keep helping Sadie-Man oh man---!-- It doesn't take much to not do the housework-----and , it's hot again---VERY Hot--We have the AC running-- --but--I haven't achieved what I needed to do--but----- I did find these people a new puppy--
So, I am offa here for to-day-- I hope that your day is going well-- Make it a good day--- I saw this below, and it made me laugh--- As I age, it seems I have extra skin hanging around-- I need to shrink--
I shall see you all tomorrow---and I will not search for any more pups--I promise--I hope that I made the people who need that puppy----who miss their doggie in Heaven, I hope I made their world a better place-- Lord love a duck
Ahh! You are SO kind and always put everyone before yourself! Those people must appreciate you very much for the puppy help! Just like your readers! It is hot in Ohio. Will feel 104 tomorrow and the Medina County Fair is going on. I hope the fair goers have lots of water! I go to the dentist in the morning. Once more after tomorrow and my teeth will all be white fillings. Can’t wait to get through this! Enjoy your hair day! Stay cool.
ReplyDeleteOur daughter Allison lives in Medina--She told us it was going to be100 there today-- --Good luck at the Dentist--quitean amazing thing--all white fillings Lynda
DeleteYes, very hot! Quite amazing that I am getting through all this dental thing. Lots of anxiety! Thanks, Lynda!
DeleteWhat a blessing to find and match a puppy and your neighbors!
ReplyDeleteWell-- these people don't have a computer and really miss their other dog--Only hope it works out-Lynda
DeleteIt's Kathy. What a wonderful thing you did for that couple. Honestly, I can't imagine life without internet but my mom lived that way. They had internet but only my dad knew how to use it. Every time one of us visited her after dad passed away she would have us log on for her so she could read her emails. She still was exchanging emails with her family in Norway. I think helping a neighbor trumps house work any day!!! Enjoy your Hair Day!
ReplyDeleteI can not imagine not having a computer--LOL---but--that's how it used to be--Imagine!!! --Hugs Lynda
DeleteYou definitely did a very good deed today!! Hope the rest of your day goes smoothly and you accomplish what you set out to do! Eissa7
ReplyDeleteI am thinking of hiring a painter-- to at leat do the main level--Lynda
DeleteHaha, I had thought immediately when I read that - Lopez. Perfect solution, that would be, haha
ReplyDeleteLOL--YU mean--give Lopez to the? there were times in the beginning that I mightve--LOL--But--I am kind of attached to little feisty Lopez now-- LOL--- (never thought Id say that)-_Lynda
DeleteHelping a neighbor is more important than housework. Sadie's job is never done and it will wait for her.. Happy you found a puppy close by and it will be ready soon.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy hair day.
Stay cool. Air temp in St.Louis is 100 today.
I, too, wish the wrinkles would go away LOL. Thats cute.
Wow! That is hot! It was over 90 here--to-day-The AC is flying-- Lynda
DeleteLynda, again you are doing good. I trust the elderly people will be able to care for their new baby.
ReplyDeleteI, too, try to help at least one other person every day.
Hot here, too! The 'heat index' (I believe that's the combo of heat and humidity) is 99F!
When I posted yesterday, I didn't reload the page so it would show my google photo. It listed under 'anonymous.'.
Time for meditation, then some amazing soup my friend gave me for supper. It is broccoli-cauliflower cheese soup with chicken and tomato. Wow! had a taste already. Can hardly wait til time to eat.
'See' you tomorrow. {{{HUGS}}}
Wow-Nice to be given home made soup-- These people looking for a pup do not have a computer----Weird! ---I like that you meditate--Good for yu--Lynda
DeleteAwwwww, glad you were able to find a puppy for your neighbors. They ARE babies, regardless of whether or not you have kids!
ReplyDeleteProbably helping these neighbors a puppy was more important than housechores. It’ll get done.
Hot here, too. So just as well that you didn’t do too much.

Well-- This neighbour does not want to wait --wants a puppy right now--and there seems to be a shortage of pups right now--Lynda
DeleteThat was really nice of you to find a puppy for your neighbours. Hope it works out. I really agree with the meme about the wrinkles. I would love to be able to be put in a dryer and come out wrinkle free and get my "granny arms" removed! And Sadie can always do the housework tomorrow. Enjoy your trip to the hairdresser!
ReplyDeleteYes--not much house work today--but there is always tomorrow-Lynda
DeleteGood for you, helping them find a puppy. The house work will be there for Sadie the next day.
ReplyDeleteFriday is my hair do day...yay. Monday I go see a new cardiologist. I miss my original in Alabama...what a caring man.
Good for yu to see yer Cardiologist--- and happy hair fday tomorrow Lynda
DeleteGlad it is a hair day. How lucky that the older couple still have at least 16 years left to care for the new puppy. I can’t imagine not having a computer at home or at least a cell phone, almost a bit dangerous during these times now. Thank goodness you are computer smart! It’s still in the triple digits here in Texas. And no rain in sight.
ReplyDeleteI read your post and saw the last picture with the phrase about people who make the world a better place and thought that fits you very well!
ReplyDeleteI'm still here, reading and doing some kind of exercise every day. Today I used my rowing machine for the first time in forever. I held in there for 10 minutes but couldn't do the planned 15. Not to worry, I learned a few things - like I need to wear my neck brace when I row so I'm holding my head up (or getting help to do that) and can see the screen. Plus I got my heart going and I excised some bad juju my nephew left me with (he was so mean to his mother - my dear sister - I wanted to go tell him off). The 10 minutes sweating and concentrating on what I was doing got rid of all that and the rest of the day is much better for it. Families. Even 11,000 miles away! Love to you and all the folks above too. I read every post when I can get here!
Holy cow-It is you---So good to hear from yu---Thank yu for the wee note! --I do enjoy even a little comment coz then I know that yu are OK----*S*--- Yu do well to exercise--That is so good for yu as yu probably know-- It is so hot here-- but-- I am not complaining as I know what is coming-- I have decided that its not easy , aging-- Lordy Be! --- but---- not much we can do about it is there?-- I wish my Grandmother told me all this--very happy that you are still kicking--and you are-- hang in and I appredciate yu sending a few words any time--Hugs, Lynda
DeleteGood News, I read the shorter post on FB. So nice to help out a friend,
