I found a puppy for a friend-

Hey-----It's HAIR DAY---
-It has been a busy morning----  the neighbour people--an older couple-- had to put their miniature poodle down--  They are totally lost-- no computer in their house either---so---I took on the task of searching for a new puppy for them---  I finally found one in the Toronto area---(far for them)--  but--guess what?---  I posted their  loss on  my Facebook page, and a friend found a breeder quite close to here--Espanola--and the puppy will be ready mid August----ever ever nice for them!----I know how terribly sad they are --no children ---Their puppy was their family--

So-- Now that I have accomplished  "Zilch"--  (as Dad used to say)- I must keep helping Sadie-Man oh man---!--  It doesn't take much to not do the housework-----and , it's hot again---VERY Hot--We have the AC running-- --but--I haven't achieved  what I needed to do--but-----  I did find these people a new puppy--

So, I am offa here for to-day-- I hope that your day is going well--  Make it a good day--- I saw this  below, and it made me laugh--- As I age, it seems I have extra skin hanging around--  I need to shrink--

I shall see  you all tomorrow---and I will not search for any more pups--I promise--I hope that I made the people who need that puppy----who miss their doggie in Heaven, I hope I made their world a better place-- Lord love a duck

  1. Ahh! You are SO kind and always put everyone before yourself! Those people must appreciate you very much for the puppy help! Just like your readers! It is hot in Ohio. Will feel 104 tomorrow and the Medina County Fair is going on. I hope the fair goers have lots of water! I go to the dentist in the morning. Once more after tomorrow and my teeth will all be white fillings. Can’t wait to get through this! Enjoy your hair day! Stay cool.

  3. It's Kathy. What a wonderful thing you did for that couple. Honestly, I can't imagine life without internet but my mom lived that way. They had internet but only my dad knew how to use it. Every time one of us visited her after dad passed away she would have us log on for her so she could read her emails. She still was exchanging emails with her family in Norway. I think helping a neighbor trumps house work any day!!! Enjoy your Hair Day!

  6. Helping a neighbor is more important than housework. Sadie's job is never done and it will wait for her.. Happy you found a puppy close by and it will be ready soon.
    Enjoy hair day.
Stay cool. Air temp in St.Louis is 100 today.
I, too, wish the wrinkles would go away LOL. Thats cute.

  7. Lynda, again you are doing good. I trust the elderly people will be able to care for their new baby.
I, too, try to help at least one other person every day.
Hot here, too! The 'heat index' (I believe that's the combo of heat and humidity) is 99F!
When I posted yesterday, I didn't reload the page so it would show my google photo. It listed under 'anonymous.'.
Time for meditation, then some amazing soup my friend gave me for supper. It is broccoli-cauliflower cheese soup with chicken and tomato. Wow! had a taste already. Can hardly wait til time to eat.
    'See' you tomorrow. {{{HUGS}}}

  8. Awwwww, glad you were able to find a puppy for your neighbors. They ARE babies, regardless of whether or not you have kids!

Probably helping these neighbors a puppy was more important than housechores. It’ll get done.

Hot here, too. So just as well that you didn’t do too much.

  9. That was really nice of you to find a puppy for your neighbours. Hope it works out. I really agree with the meme about the wrinkles. I would love to be able to be put in a dryer and come out wrinkle free and get my "granny arms" removed! And Sadie can always do the housework tomorrow. Enjoy your trip to the hairdresser!

  11. Glad it is a hair day. How lucky that the older couple still have at least 16 years left to care for the new puppy. I can’t imagine not having a computer at home or at least a cell phone, almost a bit dangerous during these times now. Thank goodness you are computer smart! It’s still in the triple digits here in Texas. And no rain in sight.

  12. I read your post and saw the last picture with the phrase about people who make the world a better place and thought that fits you very well!

I'm still here, reading and doing some kind of exercise every day. Today I used my rowing machine for the first time in forever. I held in there for 10 minutes but couldn't do the planned 15. Not to worry, I learned a few things - like I need to wear my neck brace when I row so I'm holding my head up (or getting help to do that) and can see the screen. Plus I got my heart going and I excised some bad juju my nephew left me with (he was so mean to his mother - my dear sister - I wanted to go tell him off). The 10 minutes sweating and concentrating on what I was doing got rid of all that and the rest of the day is much better for it. Families. Even 11,000 miles away! Love to you and all the folks above too. I read every post when I can get here!
