This is Elliot Lake--- I mean, we live in the city of Elliot Lake, but this is the REAL THING--the lake itself----- The brown area, is the main beach--You can see the swimming area is roped off-Son #2 took this picture with his drone. Now isn't the above Lady telling us how it is?---she is speaking the truth---Himself and I actually are doing whatever we can, for as long as we can---Now , when the Queen was alive, she did add years onto our lives---- even visited us in the kitchen!-- I wasn't dressed for the occasion--but, she was---Not everyday one has a Queen come for breakfast!
So, son#1 had us all over last night for dinner--- all 20 of us, plus a few more guests--The food was THAI FOOD----so delicious--
Time to get Lopez out again--enjoy the day--- We are a part of to-day---Remember to do whatever you are able, for as long as you can--
BEFORE_-THIS HAPPENS-----Hugs to yu all--- Now get outta here!--- (and be happy)
Wonderful pictures. It was so nice of Son #1 to have everyone over for a delicious dinner last night. It must make Himself feel good to get out and spend time with family. You are making a lot of memories again with all the family get togethers this summer. It is so important and so much fun. Take care.
ReplyDeleteMadeline--- It was just a fabulous evening--and -yes--memories are made of this! That is a song isn't it?--Lynda
DeleteYou must be tickled pink to have all this activity with the grands going on. Love Tyson.
ReplyDeleteHow nice that #1 had everyone over. 20 folks is a lot of food. Thai yum yum. I'm certain DH is enjoying the outings and all the activity. Does he go down to the Dock? Hope so.
Yes, we gotta keep doing what we can for as long as we can. For sure.
Enjoy your day.
Hugs
It is just the best ever--to have the grown kids and their families--Son#2 leaves to-morrow-Lynda
DeletePS. Didn't care for the snow picture. Yuk
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun holiday for your entire family…I love those “moments out of time”….those wonderful memory makers that are so special!! Soooo happy that your family can do this!! Eissa7
ReplyDeleteWe enjoy being together---and I shall miss them so much when they leave-Lynda
DeleteLoved the pictures taken with the drone! And yes, I do have a large home....and 4 1/2 acres to care of, but I am doing exactly what you mentioned in your blog today - I have a plan - to keep moving and doing whatever I am able for as long as I can! I realize I am slower and things are sometimes harder, but I have seen so many others who aren't able to do much and I thank God everyday for my health, my family, and my friends.....just staying positive helps me get through the tougher times (like that snow picture!)
ReplyDeleteWell Sandra--If you can do it--so can I--Thank yu-Lynda
DeleteYup, that my new motto-I’m doing this until I can’t. I love to decorate my house for holidays and every year I carry up totes from the basement. I always think that this might be my last year. One never knows. I’m going to enjoy the process until I cannot. Then, away with it. My daughter doesn’t want any of it.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun you are having with family. Enjoy every moment. I miss our family get togethers. The pictures are amazing Thank you for sharing.
Jacquie

DeleteSounds like things are going well. I imagine himself loves having everyone around. Yes, we have to make the most of things before we're snowed in again! It's a very hot and humid day here today but tomorrow it will cool off again for the rest of the week. Looking forward to that!
ReplyDeleteIt did cool off here too to-day-Lynda

ReplyDeleteI AM happy! You live in such a beautiful place. Minnesota is said to have 10,000 lakes, but now it's more like 15,000.

ReplyDeleteLove the photos, too. You are very lucky to have so much family around. I'm sure it's lots of excitement and work, too.
Just chillin' here today. Did some laundry, and I am about to go to Burger King for an Impossible Burger and fries. A treat for supper. I will probably have more fruit, too. Now fresh in my apartment I have watermelon, cantaloupe, bananas, blueberries, strawberries, grapes and nectarines!
{{{HUGS}}}
