a short blog , you amazing person!

Good morning---  I am heading to town shortly--We need an oil change in the vehicle-- 10am--I am supposed to be there-- I shall take wee Lopez with me--who, I know will bark viciously -----  I will walk him in town while they are working on the car--

We have such a lovely day beginning--sunshine and lollipops----but-- (that big "butt")--  just around the next bend in the road, I hear the "cooler" days are arriving---

This is Thanksgiving weekend, coming up, in Canada----turkey--dressing--Pumpkin pie ----definitely not a weekend to diet--and a long Holiday weekend---Hopefully I will have  more time to play the piano---  for the dogs------

Where ever you -are----make it a great day---in your part of the world---  I should return in a couple hours and will check back in--Paste-a-smile-on yer face------  sing a little--be nice to people you meet--especially "little old Ladies"-----and Pilots-----  and Policemen--- (who really are someones kids)_--Humming a tune  helps to keep one happy-

Now you will be singing the above song all day-----------------------me too!--------p

  1. Hope that you and Lopez have an enjoyable trip into town and that all goes smoothly! We are visiting in OH and the cooler air with NO humidity is a nice change from the beach of FL…not much change in leaf color yet but it is beginning…❤️ Eissa7

  2. Let’s hope little Lopez will be perfect today! I think he will! Sunny and 83 in Ohio! Off to the dentist at noon to get scanned for braces. Had them for 8 years when I was young. These will be more modern and quicker! Maybe a year. I think I may need a pumpkin spice iced coffee from Dunkin while I am out! Lol That will make me smile for sure! I love all things pumpkin so I will be at your house this weekend for your pumpkin pie! Lol I have seen your delicious looking pies! Mmmm! Hope your day is wonderful! It’s National Butterfly and Hummingbird Day!

  3. I shall go to bed with that song in my heart - one that I used to sing to my Mom, and then when I came here, my Mum-inlaw found a singing mug - yes - with that song - and gave it to me. Little things like that just made me smile all around and I knew I was where I belonged. I'm likely to run into that mug somewhere around here one day and it'll brighten that day too! Have a wonderful day, Lynda and I'll be snoring away with that song in my heart. ❤️

  4. YOU are an amazing person Lynda.
I have an oil change apt. tomorrow but I don't have a puppy to take along. I hope Lopez behaves. At least with you, Lopez won't be in any cane altercations.
How amazing turkey, trimmings and pumpkin pie sounds. Pumpkin flavored coffee is a favorite of mine. Its too hot here right now for that treat but temps are to drop dramatically later in the week. Hoping one of your sons will be hosting Thanksgiving so you don't have to do a LOT of work.
    Enjoy today.
    Please do play your piano!
Hoping for a quiet day with himself.
    You are my sunshine...lalala

  7. Hope the oil change went well, at least it’s not super cold, for you to walk your doggie. We have one more day before some rainy weather, we are in drought here.

  8. Hope your oil change went well with no other issues arising and that little Lopez was good walking in town. At least tomorrow is still supposed to be nice but the weekend is going to be a different story. Hope one of the kids is holding Thanksgiving dinner and you don't have to do any cooking! Have a relaxing night. Take care. Brenda
