This too shall pass---

I am up-----but-----will  not be blogging  until later----and now this is "LATER"_-

All is well--I wrote the above --just before all hell broke loose here-- but ---just crazy busy--   Himself went to Day Care--plus  big Beau, needed attention with his sore foot--so, I stopped in at the vets just to ask if there was more I could be doing to help Beau's foot, heal- He chews it all the time--and has it bleeding--

You know, it never rains, but it pours--so--the Day Care--the dog---- oh--and the car----Son#3 put the snow tires on our vehicle yesterday-----so, they had to be TORKED---- the bolts tightened at the dealer--

-Anyway, I did get Himself   to the Lodge--then drove over to the Car Dealer--and a very nice guy  tightened the bolts--on each wheel-then -drove over to the vet, and asked the girl if I should bring Beau in---and she told me to soak his foot in Epsom Salts--then wrap that foot-----I drove to the Pharmacy to get gauze --etc to wrap the foot----$96 later--left that store, drove back home --

and soaked Beau's foot--  then wrapped it--and hopefully it will heal---

But--then it was time to get back to town to pick up  Himself  at the Day Care------(Wouldn't you know eh?) ---- I went out to the car and the engine light was on telling me there was a problem with the tires--Can you believe that?---I called the Dealer who told me it was probably the sensors in the tires which he needed to be fixed --and to come right back down--

CAN YOU BELIEVE ALL THAT?-  so--now here I am blogging at 4-30pm-------

No wonder women must be STRONGER  THAN STRONG--not get flustered when there is way too much to do--- and just me here to do it--To-morrow will be a much quieter day--I just know it!---

Do any of you ever have complicated days-- days when you wish there were 400 of you---  days when you want to shout--"I'm going crazy and nobody cares"----????-- You get thru it, and it sure makes one appreciate normally quieter  times---
So that's my story -----  and --I certainly missed chatting away to you all-- but-- (that big "BUTT" again)---  I feel so much better now because I got to tell you all about this crazy mixed up day--and you know what?---  I FEEL SO MUCH BETTER___

BE STRONG----  HAVE a ton of PATIENCE---- and ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT THIS TOO SHALL PASS-- THERE IS ALWAYS TO-MORROW

Egad thats a lot of guaze $$. I do hope soaking Beaus foot and wrapping it will bring him some relief.
Hoping himself comes home in a good mood that lasts.

  3. Glad you made it back home after ALL that running around. I have the occasional day like that, and when I do? It wipes me out! Carl is being good for me this week. Gotta love the animals in your life. And the Prisoner got lucky with the weather as it's warm enough I don't worry about him being out overnight.

Hang in there, and remember to breathe!

  5. Hope Beau's going to be OK.There's usually a reason dogs do things like that although I have no clue what it is. Glad himself went to daycare. I was worried when you hadn't posted earlier so glad all is ok - more or less! Have a good night. Hugs Brenda

  6. Today is warm and beautiful here (80 degrees), so I spent 4 hours out on the mower cutting the 4+ acres of grass. Grandson is in school so he couldn't do it! The weather guy says our weather will change to way colder and rainy this week-end as the Canadian weather will be dropping down on us! I am rather enjoying the warm summer-like weather in late October but I know it will come to an end.
As far as those crazy days are concerned, I have them all the time. Mostly recently I called the guy to come put the winter cover back on my pool - as he had taken off to paint the pool and promised he would come back. It took me three days to fill the pool (30K gallons), and I called him and he said he would get back to me....but he never did, so my middle son and two of my friends and I wrestled it back on (and unfortunately got a rip in it as it got caught on one the gramlets that the springs attach to). so now, 3 days later, the two guys show up this morning. They walked to the pool and then just turned around and left when they saw the cover already on it. Never apologized or said they were sorry for not calling me back.
I am upset, but I just was afraid to hold off as leaves and bugs and stuff keep blowing in the water and making it a mess.....it is so frustrating when people promise to do something and then don't follow through. I know you understand (telephone black box)! Hoping that your day ended well! I am at least happy my grass it cut but I am exhausted!

  7. Yes, I have those days and today was one of them. It started out having a noon dental appointment. I had not slept well with anxiety from getting my braces kit today. Also, the dogs were up at all hours on top of it. Well, they called asking if I could come an hour and a half early. I told them no but I would get ready and get there as quickly as possible. It just all snow balled throughout the day. I just ate popcorn for dinner! lol My husband ate soup. We had planned to drive the next town over to get dinner but we were both tired from the day. He had a dental cleaning today, also. I hope Beau does well with his wrapped foot. My yorkies would chew that bandage right off. We will make tomorrow better! No tires, no teeth, no daycare, just a great day. It is going to be sunny and 72 here in Ohio. I just want to go do something fun and to pick up the dinner. Let's make it wonderful! Enjoy your night. I bet we sleep well! lol

  8. My dear friend, sounds like you had a 'day from hell' like I had late last week! We don't know how we get through them, but somehow we do!
Hope Beau's foot heals. You may need to get a cone from the vet to stop him biting it. Wonder if there's an abscess or something he's trying to get to. Somehow it bothers him. I trust the vet has checked that kinda stuff out.
Car issues are kinda hard to figure out. Did you get it all done? Wasn't sure if you got the 'check engine' light thingy completed.
Pray for you and yours always, and keep you in my thoughts.
You 'vent' to us. We 'listen'. Sometimes we 'vent' to you...and it's all in friendship and love! What could be better?
    Get some rest, love. {{{HUGS}}}

  9. Hi Lynda, it's Kathy. I meant to come back yesterday afternoon but I was rather busy myself. Nothing like you were dealing with. Yes, we women need to be so strong! I hope big Beau is doing better today with his foot. My Daisy licks her feet constantly - I am always telling her to stop. Now I know what to do if it ever gets really bad. Thanks!
