Never regret a day in your life.

You ARE amazing!---  Always remember that! There are days you might not believe that you are--
Those days, when you really are, "JUST DONE"---my Dad used to tell me , "Keep your chin Up"-----which meant,  even if you have "had it"---you CAN carry on--and, in every situation, there can be laughter--- At first we do not see the humour--- but when all is said and done,  the humour comes thru--

THERE! --My little  "Blast from the past"-----So, the 2 dogs have been out-- AND_-THEY DID THEIR BUSINESS ---Amazing! --So this day has started off right!---  It feels like a Monday, but--it is a Tuesday----

We all have a nice pair of shoes--AND--most of us have a very loyal dog--- Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz taught us that!-------

----and so another day has begun---  I hope the server people, can fix our phones--perhaps even come here to swap their black box-- which they say is over 10 yrs old--and the reason our telephones only work for 16 seconds-----  It is kinda funny--because when the phone rings, I pick it up and say into the phone, "You now have 16 seconds to say yer message"-------  I am sure the person at the other end does not believe me--and the phone stops after 16 seconds-----  Talk about short telephone conversations eh?---LOL

Hopefully I do not have anything to deal with to-day , that is too serious--I need a day to rest my mind--maybe sit at the piano--maybe rake more leaves-- maybe even do NOTHING___  I cannot imagine ever having a day to do absolutely--NOTHING__ Do you ever get that sorta day?--Lord love a Duck! Just  imagine how great we all would feel having a day of completely "doing Nothing"!   It makes me so happy just thinking about that!

Son#3 , the Pilot son, just called from Frankfurt, Germany-- landed there this morning, early. He said it is 21 C there--very warm--  It is only 4 degrees C. here--quite a difference--says he is wearing his "Breeks"--- and running thru the hills, singing, "The Hills are alive with the sound of music"----crazy guy eh?---- (Good thing we can laugh isn't it?)--

-----------------------I thought the above kinda funny---  sorta true isn't it?

So, carry on , with whatever you are doing--  I hope I put a wee smile on your face--  Try not to take life too seriously-----

  1. It was a quiet day here - friends and I had plans to go to the casino today but we cancelled because a few of us were under the weather and then the one that was fine wasn't today so I'm glad we all stayed home. My big excitement was getting the bins (one for trash, one for recycle stuff) out to the kerb. Sometimes that's a hard task because for example the green bin (which goes out next week) can be filled with grass clippings and then I usually have to get help from my very gracious neighbours to help get it out onto the sidewalk. Oh and since it was my late husband's birthday, I let myself order a Calzone from a new pizza place. It was nice and I'll enjoy the other half tomorrow for lunch. I had a nice glass of Shiraz and toasted the Mister, the day, all of us fine ladies and that I'm still able to enjoy a nice glass now and then. No regrets for today. It wasn't exciting, but I made the best of it. Hope your day is full of good things!

  4. Great inserts..all of them.
Pilot son has a sense of humor...great.
Hoping someone installs black box and gets the house phone situation straightened out. I like your message to callers. 16 seconds means to the point.
You have permission to do nothing other than what makes you happy today. The leaves aren't going anywhere...they can wait. Play your freshly tuned piano. Hope himself is in a good mood and things are rolling along pleasantly.
    Enjoy your day.
    YOU ARE AWESOME
    Hugs

  5. It's Kathy. That is a very cute cartoon and so true. Sometimes I would like a phone that only works for 16 seconds. I've had 3 long calls today - 2 from children and the last from my sister who never really has much to say. And I'm still not feeling great so it's hard to talk on the phone. We are having a very nice fall-like day today. Daisy and I went out to pick up the sticks in the yard - so many that come out of my neighbors dying tree end up in my yard! But it felt good to be outside! Have a great day!

  6. Hi Lynda! It was high 57 in Ohio today. Last year on the 10th it was 68 and the year before was 80 degrees! It's our anniversary and I keep a little journal and wrote it down. lol I hope that box gets fixed for your phones. Funny you say you have 16 seconds! lol Your son must be having fu with that nice weather. So nice he gets to see so many places and enjoy the food, too. Hope you didn't do too much today. I thought it was Monday instead of Tuesday. No, not really any days here to do nothing. Some days maybe less but always something to do it seems. Hope you got to play your newly tuned piano. I know the dogs love it! You should record a song or two sometime and post it for us. That would be wonderful. Enjoy your evening!

  7. Hi Lynda: Your inserts today are great. Reading the one about giving a piece of mind everyday reminds me of a few people and had to laugh! The pilot certainly has a sense of humour which is great. Hope the day is relaxing and you have time to play the piano. Hugs Brenda

  8. Gosh, I called this up again to check comments...I never posted! That means you have probably already checked other people's comments. Sigh.
Busy morning taking friends to errands, etc.
My 'adopted' local daughter came today. They brought me a card with $10 and a beautiful pewter ornament for me. We visited for quite a while. Got cashiers checks to pay some bills.
    Laundry and shopping tomorrow.
Sincerely hope you did get a chance to relax with your piano, may your kindle and a nap.
I took a nap today after my stressful morning.
    Maybe tomorrow will be great for us, too! {{{HUGS}}}

    1. I'm surprised Lynda hasn't posted yet today. I have an 'adopted' local son. (My kids are all in the states). My local kiddo took me to go vote today and then once I was home and on my own I couldn't think of a good reason NOT to have a nap, so that's where my day went! Take care, and I didn't want you to go without a reply so here you go. ((Hugs)) to you!

    2. Good afternoon,
I didn't see any posting's today--I hope it is because your phones are still down and that no one is sick. It is nice here in Michigan, no rain--yet. We mowed the lawn but it is still a little wet. When you get a chance you will have to tell me about your surgery that you had on your eyes for glaucoma.
I was wondering how long it took and if you had any down time. I need to get it done so I am not bothered with putting drops in my eyes.
      Take care my friend,
as always prayers for you and himself.
      Luv Bev
