Turn up the music and dance!

It is a new day----  Holy Cow!-- We are a part of to-day--we are living our life--- cloudy day here---  sorta cool--- you know, we really are SO fortunate to live where we do--Even if silly trivial things get in our way to-day, I hope I can just be positive---remember that  "stuff" happens--- and I must just deal with it!-----kinda like the wee little girl in the picture below--- with her puppy to console her--standing in the corner-- accepting whatever happened  , and thinking about  why  her Mom stood her  there--- thinking about "stuff"--

Yesterday  was a difficult day-- for me--himself went to Daycare--I drove him there--then came back home here-vacuumed ----(not very well tho)--- then Lopez went into his crate, and I drove back to town, to get a small order of groceries ($200)--then went to pick up Himself and we drove back home-- had a short rest----  then--put Lopez back into crate, (poor wee fellow eh?)- as Himself and I had to get our Covid Shot #6--plus a flu shot-----I had one shot in one arm--with the other flu shot in the other arm--  Himself had the 2 shots in one arm, and his arm is very tender --I never thought to tell him to spread these 2 vaccines out-- I thought the nurse would've told him--(Never assume anything!)--

But--we are both OK--We survived  shot#6--

I found the above interesting----Walk a mile a day--with winter coming, this might not be as fun as it could be-- but it might be something to think about-
The above put a smile on my face also--it is so true!

It is a new day--and if we  can smile at that person in the mirror-- think positive thoughts, that no matter what , we CAN deal with most anything, and if for some reason  you feel overwhelmed,  "JUST DON'T CARE"--turn up the music--- and dance a bit!

  1. Good morning, Lynda! I hope your day is less hectic than yesterday. It is rainy all day here in Ohio. No dog walking but we did nice walks yesterday and talked to other nice people and their dogs. Even another yorkie. Tommy fell in love with a pretty little Pomski named Lola. Lol I can’t believe they put himself two shots on the same arm. They say to keep the arm moving and go in circles with it. I don’t do shots but my friends say that. I do good to get needles at the dentist, as you know. My blood pressure has been up the last few days. I went off a pill of a few years that caused me burning neuropathy. My doctor told me to stay on it anyway and that I wouldn’t do well on another medicine. There are so many. How could he say that? It’s not real high so I hope it passes. I just hate to reach out to him. Let’s make it a great day!:)

    2. I know. I decided to take a chance and listen to my body and not the doctor and the pharmacist. Plus, many reviews sounded just like me. Yes, I thought of your Lola. lol

  2. Hi Lynda
As usual loved all your inserts. You find such cool stuff to share.
Yesterday was certainly a lot of running for you. Lopez is safe in crate. He was fine.
We got flu shot in one arm and covid in the other arm. Poor himself...I'm sure his arm isn't feeling great. We had no reactions and I hope your experience is the same.
Play your piano. Have a great day.
The spinning chair insert made me laugh.
Cloudy, windy and cooler..50sF in St.Louis.
    Be safe and well.
    Stay strong.

  3. It's Kathy. I love dancing with my Daisy although as she gets older she isn't as interested anymore. Mostly she likes to lay down in whatever room I am in! Yes, my husband paints - mostly with watercolor paints, but also oil and acrylic sometimes. It finally stopped raining but it feels so cold in the house! Going from 90 to 40 degrees is too hard on the body I think! Hope today is a better day for you!

  4. Cloudy and was raining here earlier. Now stopped. 3 in. of rain yesterday. So, this is an improvement.

Awwwww! That picture touches my heart! I have a copy of that in our bedroom! It was in my room growing up!

Hope that Himself’s arm is better. The flu vaccine always makes my arm ache. No problem w/the Covid booster. Try icing the area and definitely, keep the arm moving!

Dancing listening to music . . . a favorite stress reducer. Dance like nobody’s watching, right!?!

  5. Hope you continue to be OK following that shot. I don't think it's still the shot for me, but I was flat on Tuesday, then OK, pretty much on Wednesday, then sick from Thursday onward! So I'm taking it easy. I didn't get out of bed for good until after 1 p.m. Then I remembered one of my happy things... avoid the news, stream the Ironman Women's world championship streaming on YouTube. Still being gentle with myself, and hope this whatever-it-is will have run its course!

  6. Hi Lynda: I got my seior's flu shot the other day but they did't have the new Covid shot that day. But last year I got both shots the same day and had no side effects. Flu shot didn't both me this year. I'm sure himselfs arm will feel better in a day or so. I heard of may people who got both shots in the same arm on the same day. So don't worry about it. Being a doctor and a nurse giving it to him, they both should have figure it out. Love all the inserts. Little girl is so cute. Have a good night. Hugs Brenda
