Good morning, Lynda! We have light drizzle in Ohio but high 65 turning cold tomorrow. Snow next week. When it clears up this afternoon I will take the yorkies out in the stroller to keep their feet dry. Kloi ate a leaf yesterday and got sick. Tommy is afraid of the leaves. I will be Sadie soon, too and rest tomorrow. Thank your son for the pics. Yes, you will need to be careful going to daycare during bad weather. Tommy was up during the night, too. I do wish they could talk! Lol Happy National Chocolate Day! Find some chocolate! I am having buckeye ice cream tonight. My fave! Besides pumpkin. Oh, creme brulee ice cream is Monday. Ohio has the best creameries with custard ice cream! Kinda dangerous! Lol Have a super good Saturday!:)
ReplyDelete--Wouldn't it be fun if these animals got to know each other??--LOL--Your ice cream flavours sound so good- Ice crfeam is my favourite food--LOl--Lynda-
DeleteThree days a week daycare? That will be good for both of you.
ReplyDeleteMaybe Lopez needs one of those bottles that clip onto rabbit/gerbil cages where they can drink the water that drips down. Wonder if they make one that attaches to crates? Hmm...
Yes, I have my warmer clothes almost set up. Want to get more fleece lined leggings, though. They're also good as long underwear. Goodwill has them for $7.99, but they were all huge sizes.
Just cleaning up the kitchen today...dishes and microwave. Putting away the clean laundry Sadie did yesterday. And packing my costume for tonight: long pink robe, bunny slippers, old lady wig, little dog, red lipstick, etc. Maxine will be live!
Will check this later. Remember I promised photos and maybe a video.
I will start with a short joke from my "Seriously Folks" speech I gave in Toastmasters, sing and end with, "Be happy if you're growing old. It's a privilege not enjoyed by all."
Hope all 5 of you have a great relaxing day. {{{HUGS}}}
I am thinking of you this evening -dressing up- and Karaoke--I need to see yu-- LOL-- It must be so funny--Lynda
DeleteI'm with you. Grateful for each day as it comes along!
ReplyDeleteand Prisoner--and Carl----Yu are grateful for them??--LOL--Lynda
DeleteIt's Kathy. I've been to the gym today, did my Pilates class and then some stretching. My body feels so much better than when I woke up. It's cold here too. Daisy is protesting - she's not happy the heat's been turned off in her bathroom! The older she gets the more she hates rain, cold, and snow! I can't say that I blame her one bit! I'm happy that himself gets to go to the center 3 times a week - I'm sure that will help his mood, being around other people. It always helps mine! Have a good day today!
ReplyDeleteDaisy sounds like a good girl-- doesn't like the cold --same as us! --LOL-- and your gym workout sounds great-Lynda
DeleteYup . . . have the winter clothes all in place. Thighs all week in the 40’s and snow overnight tomorrow and then again from Tuesday into Wednesday. Had to happen sometime, right.
ReplyDeleteHuh . . . .never thought about shoes being the first thing someone notices subconsciously.
Oh my, that would be wonderful if Himself can be in daycare 3 days/week. Fingers crossed.
Definitely always glad to see the bed @ night and those soft, comfy blankets
Grateful for each and every day! They’re gifts.

Winter clothes-- It's coming isn't it--the colder weather--Yes, it ios so good to get to bed-- EVERY NIGHT-- so tired by the end of the day-Lynda
DeleteYou will really love your bed tonight - as you did not get much sleep with getting up with Lopez so often! Thinking 3 days a week for Day Care will be great! Maybe it will be a mild winter with little or no snow - we can always hope! haha! So sweet of your son to send all the pictures to document all his travels! Thank you for sharing them! I just picked all of my "sorta ripe" tomatoes - first freeze is predicted for tonight. I'm sad as there are tons of green tomatoes on the plant still.....but I do not know anyone who can use them....as I am not a big fan of fried green tomatoes!
ReplyDeleteHow re your 2 cats doing?--- I always think of you with them--It is only 2 degrees here outside to-nite-Lynda
DeleteHi Lynda: Poor Lopez. Hope he is better tonight. That will be grest if himself can go to daycare 3 days a week. Hopefully the snow is not heavy this year and that you have someone to help clear the snow. Guess I'll have to start looking at my shoes more! Have a goodnight. Hugs Brenda
ReplyDeleteLOL-- I never knew people look at your shoes either!--- supposerd to turn cold tto-morrow-Lynda
DeleteThanks for the inserts and pictures from pilot son. Its always interesting to see various parts of the world.
ReplyDeleteLopez likely slept a lot today to make up for last night while you likely kept moving without enough sleep. Your bed will feel extra good tonight.
Yay on day care 3 x a week. I think it's good for himself and gives you a bit of a break.
Rainy and cool. It was 85F yesterday and now we have frost warnings. St.Louis weather changes very rapidly.
I'm not sure about shoes being the first thing people notice...oh well. I'm generally wearing athletic shoes.
My Sadie was very busy changing linens, doing laundry and house cleaning. I also did a medium sized grocery run. Bananas were all gone.
Stay warm and safe.
Hugs
Enjoy your evening.
I shall shop for bananas in the morning-- Sounds like Sadie did a good job at your house to-day-- Hugs, Lynda
DeleteThank your son for the London pictures! Glad that Himself can do three days daycare. Winter is another bad time to live rural area, oh yeah, we had to leave. Poor Lopez, it really is like having an extra baby to care for. Prepare for weird weather, hope you need not shop on Sunday.
ReplyDeleteI shall tell Son#2 (who is just landing back in Toronto--right now)-- that yu appreciate his photos-- Lynda
DeleteIt has been raining here off and on all day..sad today for some reason. Maybe thinking of David too much............
ReplyDeleteGlad Himself is enjoying visiting at his daycare...it does him good to get out and mingle without you having to watch over him.
Have a great weekend...PS: I don't do Halloween so no worries on candy there, besides, no one ever comes out in the country area....
Darlene-Who is David--?--Is that your husband?--Son??---- Hard to miss someone so much--Hopefully they feel your thoughts-----No-one comes here either for Halloween-- It is hard for you to feel sad--I am so sorry-- Hugs going your way-Lynda
DeleteSorry Lopez kept you up at night. Perhaps he’ll be able to take care of himself if he has one of those water bottles for animals which attach to the wires of a crate 🧡 Carol
