Believe in yourself-always!

Holy Cow-It IS  Sunday--Lopez has had me up most of the night-- Himself mixed a beef patty in with bis supper last night-- Beef does not agree with him at all------  so, I suffer the consequences--Poor wee  Lopez! He made it outside -many times--but---what a night--for the both of us--

I heard the weather for to-day--  They predicted rain showers--mixed with light SNOW FLURRIES--- YIKES!--That is the first time this fall, the "S" word , has been said.----I am supposed to get the snow tires on the car, Oct 30th---I guess it's time to put the leaf blower with it's batteries, away ---and get the cover on the AC Unit--- Winter is a lot of work you know! ---and it s just beginning!--

Last evening I played the piano--for hours and hours--turned off the TV---- When I finally quit playing, both dogs were asleep--and Himself---- and I felt better--more relaxed---I had wanted to watch Saturday night live, but---that just did not happen--It is amazing  how piano music can relax one! (and I'm not even a great player!)--

Hopefully your Sunday is relaxing--I hope that you make it that way.----Isn't the meme below so true?--"find joy in the life you are actually living"---lotza curve balls do come our way---

Son #2 the Pilot just texted--is heading to Vancouver-----You know, years ago, Himself and I flew with him, out  to Vancouver--He was  the First Officer then, on the flight---Himself  was taken to the cockpit--- We met our daughter in Vancouver, who flew in from Hawaii--and the 4 of us stayed in Vancouver for a couple days, touring the city--We rode bicycles around Stanley Park-We ate when ever we wanted to, and whatever we felt like--at any time of day---It was a good  thing we did all that when we dd, as we could never do that now!--- When an opportunity arrises, grab it--

So, be kind to Pilots---  and Policemen----  and I hope yu find happiness to-day on this Sunday--  Make to-day special in every way yu can--

  1. Good morning, Lynda! It’s cold here in Ohio, too. We are in a freeze watch until 9 am tomorrow. Little dogs seems to have sensitive stomachs. At least my yorkies do. Happy you played the piano again. We will relax today being Sunday. You will probably wash your bed. I am waiting on my pumpkin spice coffee to cool a bit. I have had tinnitus this week. Driving me nuts! Hope it goes away soon. Hope Lopez feels better and you rest up today. Hugs!

No no...not the "S" word. Nooooo
And poor you and Lopez. You'll both need a nap.
Loved the inserts! Letting go of the life anticipated and finding joy in this reality...very profound.
Have a wonderful day. Relax and enjoy today's gifts.
    Hugs
Loved hearing you played your piano for hours and the entire household was relaxed. TV news is depressing and negative...piano much better!,

  3. Good morning
It is so true. Hubby and I went to a ground breaking at Potato Creek Park, in Indiana for a Lodge. We hadn't been there in years. Years ago it was our favorite place to camp. They talked about building this lodge for years. When Hubby and I went back there it brought back such great memories, with Mom & Dad and family. I so miss those days. I hope your Sunday is peaceful and keep that snow away. Your friend Bev

  4. So sorry that poor Lopez was ill from beef. **SIGH** Glad that the piano playing was soothing I am glad you have that.

Yes, that meme about letting go and finding joy in the life you are IN is so truth and I needed to read that, today. And for sure, we have to do things while we can when the opportunity is there. As Mom always said, Make hay while the sun is shining! TRUTH!.

  5. It's Kathy. I really love the last two memes and I copied the one about finding joy in the life you have to send to my husband. Just this morning he was feeling down about all the missed opportunities that he let pass him by. I told him to start today and choose better in the future! I'm so sorry little Lopez wasn't feeling well during the night - he is lucky to have a great mom who will get up with him when he needs her. My little Daisy wanted to go back to bed after I fed her this morning - I thought that was a good idea too but unfortunately she took my spot! She loves to snuggle with her Daddy. We have sunshine today - Tom and I need to make a list of all the things that need to do before we get that first snowfall! Have a great day.

You are so on target…do whatever while you are able… the older we get, the less able we may become. Hope that you get some relaxation time today…..❤️ Eissa7

  7. Oh, dear, we're certainly not matching on the weather. We have a warmish week ahead, and no rain until Wednesday / Thursday. I'm glad because Carl doesn't like rain, and I have him until Thursday evening. He did not let me sleep last night, poking his nose in my face at 3 a.m. We'll see if tonight goes better. Usually when he stays for a few days he settles in after one rough night.

What a great thing to be able to play that piano and calm the dogs and Himself... and yourself. Turning off the TV is a good thing for us, especially when the news is just too repetitive. Not that we should not know what's going on, but we don't need it in our ears 24 hours a day!

Hope your Sunday is calm and blessed.

  8. Hi Lynda: Particularly love the meme about having to deal with the life you have as aopposed to what you thought. How true. Poor Lopez and you. No more beef for him. Hope tonight is a lot better. It's cold here too although not as bad as what you have. It's mostly the wind today. And hope you have your help all lined up for the snow!!! Have a good night.
