Keep your chin up!

a brand--new--day----- and it is just beginning--I am a tad flustered---  trying to tell myself to have "the faith"--that everything will be alright--you see, I am waiting to get our Bell line--same phone number--but no more "voice over internet"---- and last night we lost power , about 678 times---  (Well, I am exaggerating ----but it feels like I was up that many times turning the freezer back on in the basement)--

One time Lopez escaped from his crate beside my bed-- heard all the commotion and decided to investigate--with me chasing him around the main floor to put him back to bed---  so---  quite a night I had!
The below should read--
NO MATTER HOW HARD YOUR NIGHT HAS BEEN---- KEEP GOING__BE THANKFUL!

It is a cool day--with a lots of big time wind, to-day---with the Grandson, hopefully coming later to get rid of the leaves on the lakeside of the house--once and for all-- it will be a lot of work for him--

Son #2 will be heading home from Britain to-day--He was telling me that  if yu have a cell phone, the call is free if you use "Face-time Audio"--I did not know that--He said that you can call all over the world on that--and it doesn't cost you anything--Interesting--

Sadie is beginning  her room to room, cleaning--dusting etc etc --  to-day--and I shall help her--Hopefully she and I can get one room done, at least---
I thought the above  will give you all something to think about---It seems only on my bad days, I talk to  the good Lord-- Maybe I should  speak to him more--

Oh --just heard from Son#2--the Pilot--He said--Air Canada is sending  extra aircraft to Athens Greece to pick up  displaced Israelis------This is a picture of the crew going--ever good to hear!

He also sent a few pictures of when he was walking around London-

---------------------------------------------looks so quaint doesn't it???

  2. It's Kathy - yes, I did relax yesterday and spent most of the day reading. My body is just not cooperating with me these days so I took the day off! I hope your grandson can get all the leaves up this afternoon. Our tree hasn't even started dropping it's leaves - seems kind of late this year. The leaves haven't even turned yet. They say because of the drought. It's good to hear that your son's company is trying to help the Israelies, what a tragedy is happening over there. Have a good day!

  3. Hoping you phone guy gets there soon. My pool guy hasn't shown up yet - he was supposed to finish up the painting job on the pool last Friday.....came and said he was going to go pick up some hydrostatic valves....and he never came back and then it rained and he will have to drain it before he can put the valves in.....makes me so angry....and the new paint might have yellowed the bottom because of the rain sitting in it all week-end. So frustrating, but I can't do it myself so I must be patient and wait. And yes, Lynda, I take time every morning in prayer and giving God thanks for all my blessings. Although it seems I have several problems, I thank Him each day for the I wake up for another gift of another day, my home, my health, people who love me -my family, my friends, and even my cats!

  5. What a night you had with that power and little Lopez. How does he escape the crate? lol It's cold with light rain and wind here in Ohio. My leaves don't all fall to clean up for the last time until the endof November so we have awhile to go but they are slowly coming down. Hope your grandson is able to clean yours up today. The photos are always nice and interesting. He must enjoy all the sights and food. Nice of Air Candada to help out! I am being Sadie today, too. My husband starts vacation tomorrow so I figured if I worked extra hard today that I could take a break, too! I sure hope you are having an uneventful day and your power problem gets fixed. Enjoy your evening!

  6. The joys of country living, waiting for services to be repaired, usually the last area to be worked upon, smallest amount of people to be serviced. Their rules. Hope your grandson makes it there for all that work. You could leave the leaves there, it becomes free compost to improve the soil. So much extra work…..poor little Lopez, strain on him, too, when power goes out. What a job, dealing with the freezer, oh man.

  7. Hoping you can rest a bit later after your up and down night.
Hoping your leaf battle gets conquered by grandson. Our trees are green and full of leaves. Its been too dry for color changing.
Hope your phones get straightened out. Frustrating
Loved all the inserts and the pictures from England.
    Have a good day. Rest.
    Hugs

  8. I am glad they are rescuing people from the war. Wonder where they will go? My building has a bunch of Somalis.
We all have bad days...days when it's hard to (as I am wont to say), look at the positive side, think of something you love.
I need to still go our for gas and bananas. It's rush hour here, though, to I will wait a bit.
Beautiful weather here! Not quite 50F, but lots of sunshine, and only a small breeze.
Good luck to your grandson dealing with the leaves with all that wind.
The London photos do look quaint.
It's getting on time for me to meditate. I couldn't do without it.

  9. Hi Lynda: Hope Bell shows up today. Sorry for your night. Must have been real windy last night for the power to keep going out that often. And little Lopez wanting to be a part of it all! Nice pictures from London. Always wanted to go but never made it. Nice of Air Canada to be helping to get people out of Israel/Gaza. Scary stuff. Hope you have a better night tonight. Hugs Brenda
