Even complicated days are successful!

A new day---outward smiles--but inward screams--dealing with a complicated life here---

Since I got up this morning, it has turned colder--It was 4C --now it is 3.5 C---with wind-- hopefully we do not lose power--- We did lose power last evening--AGAIN---  All the power went off--then came right back on again--  this has happened a lot lately--for reasons unknown--It is kinda a nuisance and a worry as all the appliances go off--then back on--which cannot be good----

I need to smile--not allow the brain to delve too deeply-to-day--The cow with the curlers--above helped  me-- LOL

---The dancer below is quite light on her feet---she definitely is concentrating  on only her dancing--no inward screams there--

Big Beau  really does not spend too much time worrying---  just relaxes all all the time--
Last evening I did get to play the piano--  The trouble there is, when I begin to play the piano-- I usually am there for at least 2 hrs--- Both dogs were fast asleep last evening----even Himself fell asleep--listening to the piano--
The dogs have been outside---and both did their business--a very good thing for me!

Winston Churchill , above, tells it the way it is---
"To be successful,  one must go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm ."

When one has had a couple of rough days,   just to deal with whatever goes your way--- and be enthusiastic about it all,  means your day was successful---outward smiles--with no loss of enthusiasm--

  1. Good morning, what a great blog...loved it. The cow in curlers, too cute. The inserts were wonderful...all of them.
What in the world is going on up there with your Power? Another one of those things we can't control.
How sweet that himself and the pups get all relaxed and doze off to your piano playing.. thats 2 hours well spent.
    Have a wonderful, blessed day.
    Hugs

    1. I hear they are laying a huge cable along highway #17--I do not know if that affects our power up here in the bush or not--- odd how it just cuts off--then right back on--- but-- we have phone service--one thing at a time I guess--LOL-Lynda

  2. Hi Lynda: Love the Winston Churchill saying. It's hard I know but we must do that. I am still having my problems with mobility and it is so frustrating. But I know I must stay positive to eventually get there there. Same as you to keep your sanity. Only way for you to survive. When I lived up north for a few years the power situation is so frustrating especially resetting all clocks and everything, Just try to Keep smiling! Hugs Brenda

  3. It's Kathy. Great pics today - I love the cow with curlers and the quote from Winston Churchill, but my favorite was the last one about how long our world is getting to enjoy us! The Ballerina reminds me of my younger days - I was a dancer and once I started dancing everything else went away from my mind. It works the same when I go to a class at the gym, but it's not as much fun! I hope you can have a quiet weekend and find some peace. It's very windy here today - leaves are falling like crazy. Have a great day!

  4. Another great blog, Lynda!
My worst day is behind me. Yesterday was better. Today is and will be great!
Friends came to install an air filter for my car. They brought a homemade meal for me, too. Went to Goodwill and found everything I wanted! A little dog to go with my (hallmark) Maxine costume, new warm and fuzzy hat to match my winter coat and LEGWARMERS! I had been thinking of crocheting some.
Cooler here, too, but still 55F, more than a breeze but lotsa blue up high.
    Karaoke tonight...YES!
    Hope your whole weekend is wonderful...still with I could hear you play the piano! {{{HUGS}}}

  5. Good evening, Lynda! I hope your day was wonderful! Tomorrow is our favorite day and it will be lovely! Rainy again here in Ohio but tomorrow is just cloudy and sunny Monday and Tuesday. I am looking forward to that and getting out a bit. Sorry your power acted up. I can just see the dogs listening to your piano playing and Sushi listening from afar. It must be so soothing to them. I would love it. I like to listen to Jim Brickman playing the piano. Do you like him? Enjoy your evening. Maybe have some ice cream. It was pumpkin cheesecake flavor at our local place today but I didn't go. lol Next week is pumpkin roll. Hmm! Let's see if I can pass on that! I am about to have some dark chocolate orange almond candy. That will be good enough. Good night!

  6. What a nuisance, indeed, that your power keeps going off! No, definitely not good for appliances.

Awwww, love the picture of that little girl w/her best friend. INDEED!

And . . . yes, have to start realizing that age is merely the # of years the world has enjoyed us! AMEN.
