Good morning to you all----May your day be peaceful and happy-----Here, it is still dark outside--rainy and mild--and it is "Daycare " to-day--but---
To-day will be a much more relaxing day-- Yesterday--the Doctor--the new Doctor--who I very much liked-- He spent quite some time with me and----- HE DISCOVERED A HEART MURMUR---in me--Lord love a duck eh?--so------ LOL---- I shall not allow even one Halloween candy to enter my mouth-- (altho it is a tad late I guess!)-
This morning, as I was feeding the 2 dogs, I was going over in my mind, "HOW DID I EVER DEVELOP THE HEART THING?----- -----and-- this is what I figured out--- You know I had a very mild case of Covid 2 yrs ago--in June--and-- that Covid left me with a heart murmur I bet--altho I wasn't ill with the covid-- -- Gosh darn it eh?----so-----WEAR YOUR MASKS --ONCE AGAIN---My new Dr that wasn't to be seen, when I went in to see him a couple weeks ago--apparently had what he thought was a mild respiratory infection, tested that day, and---AND HE HAD COVID--so he went home fast! -So, once again--wear the mask---
Son #2 is in London--England--- He said as they were on the runway, ready to depart, some passenger was looking at the menu and saw there was going to be shrimp served-- told a flight attendant that she had a deadly allergy to shrimp and her EpiPen was in her luggage--IN THE BELLY OF THE PLANE--They had to take her back to the gate and drop her off ---and she could get a later flight--so, they were late leaving-- go figure eh?-------I am always happy when he texts me to tell me he is there-- foggy in London he says also--
I just saw the above-- thought it was kinda cute---"-the less he spoke--the more he heard"---- Wear your mask and keep your mouth shut I guess!s
Amen! Raise one another up! Take good care of yourself and your heart, Lynda. My dad was diagnosed with a heart murmur when he was a child, and it prevented him from going into the army, among other things. But he lived to father five children, including me, and lived a full and an honorable life. So it isn't as bad as it sounds!
ReplyDeleteLove the German Shepard who "doesn't bark at nothing"! Carl does a lot of barking, and he's gone home with his Daddy now, so my home is quiet in the pre-dawn dark today!
Hope you have a good Friday!
Your dad had the murmuring heart also??--and--I bet that you miss Carl--??---Always enjoy hearing from yu-Lynda
DeleteGood morning, Lynda! It is nice in Ohio again today but cooler and rainy the next three days. I walked both yorkies yesterday. One at a time but nice people in my neighborhood we got to chat with. Will do it again today. Oh, so that explains the doctor leaving last time! They could have said he went home sick! I hope your murmur will be just fine being in good care now with a good doctor. I never quit wearing a mask and have not ate in a restaurant. I know, your son is so good to text where he is. That woman should carry her pen with her! Gosh! Hope your day is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThe poor guy had COVID--- Too bad the clinic didnt tell me--Here I thought he was angry with me as I missed the very first appointment--One should never second guess stuff eh?-Lynd
DeleteHi Lynda: Nice here today but I hear that starting tomorrow, it will be back to seasonal and cold! Re your heart murmur, I've had one forever and never even knew when I was young. It has never bothered me and no meds for it. So hopefully yours will be ok too. Glad himself went to daycare today. At least you get a break. Did you get your hair cut yesterday? Glad Beau's paw is getting better. Love the picture withthe barking dog saying. I have one of those barking dogs that seems to never stop! Have a good relaxing day. Hugs Brenda
ReplyDeleteBrenda-- I hear that also--that lots of people have the heart thing and no trouble!--Hugs Brenda
DeleteLots of folks born with those Mummers, not eating candy does nothing at all for that, oh my goodness, no guilt at this time of your life! Someone guilted you when you were young, perhaps. Let it go, look how well you have come along, and how you are doing! Super woman! That is You!
ReplyDeleteYes, I hear most pople have no trouble with the Heart Murmers--I hope I am one of them-Lynda
DeleteIt's Kathy. What a story from your son the Pilot. Makes me wonder why this woman doesn't carry her epipen on her person at all times! I'm glad you liked your new doctor and good for him for going home as soon as he found out he had Covid. I hate to think of that horrible disease coming back again. We are also anticipating snow this weekend. YUCK! My husband spent the last 3 hours blowing leaves - seems they all fell overnight! Have a great day.
ReplyDelete-And not only the EpiPen thing, he said their radio broke as they were entering the English air space--in fog--dense fog ---- they resurrected some old staticy radio-----I guess it was quite a flight-- He comes home to-morrow--Lynda
DeletePHOENIX1949 here in Central Texas
ReplyDeleteGlad you like your new doctor. My husband has had a detectable heart murmur since his early 40's and it hasn't ever worsened with 75 around the horizon for him.
My Epi-Pen & Rescue Inhaler are in separate pockets on the outside of my purse and each has a large pin on front identifying what's inside.
It has rained every day this week and so far we have almost 5" recorded at our house. Person clearing out all the flower beds and putting on red mulch had just finished the large bed around the tall oak tree which included sowing seeds for a large variety of colorful Texas & Oklahoma wildflowers that should start blooming around April or May depending on our weather.
Take care of yourself so you can take care of Fred, Sushi, Beau and Lopez.
Oh I hope this heart murmur never shows its ugly self!-- Thank yu for telling me about yer hubby! Lynda
DeleteHappy it is day care day. Himself will be happy, too.
ReplyDeleteSaved the owl meme.
Copy and paste this link to the song you ended with. This is the official video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rnztMhtUF6o
Hope the passenger on your son's plane was able to get her luggage out before she took that other flight!
Our pets do have lots to tell us...we usually love it, but sometimes it gets a bit too much.
The wind here is ferocious. Blowing off the last of the leaves. Almost down to freezing last night.
I may go out for bananas, but need nothing else.
Sadie has been doing laundry. I swear, it never ends. Once clothes are done there are linens, towels, rags, throw rugs (I don't have any of those, thankfully)...
Tomorrow night is our Halloween costume contest at karaoke. I will get someone to take a brief video and photo to send to you. Maxine is alive and well. She will be singing, "I did it My Way." Just keep in mind, when you see that hair that it is a wig!
{{{HUGS}}}
I like your video--no-- her luggage went on without her-- so I hear--I guess once they get on board the luggage stays on board---OMG--I wish I could be there for yer Halloween Karaoke-Yu will have SO much fun!-- and your "I did it my way"-will; be a "hoot"!-- HUgs, Lynda
DeleteSo that explains why new Dr. left abruptly before your last appt. Heart murmurs are quite common and often cause no issues..
ReplyDeleteHopefully that will be your story.
Did you change your hairstyle?
Glad Beaus foot is doing better.
The woman on sons plane should have carried epi pen on her person.
Hope himself enjoys the Lodge today.
Have a great day.
Hugs
No --I did not change the "hair style--maybe one day-- and between one toe is healing--but now all red and sore between another toe--and I have been wrapping this new one as he licks it-- Crazy story about the woman not having her Epipen with her--and the plane pewopkle cannot go intio the belly of the plane -- Crazy people eh???Lynda
DeleteIt also could have been the covid meds itself that caused it. A close friend of our family was perfectly healthy, passed his physical to go in the military and they of course made him take the shot...he came home for a 3 day weekend and dropped dead of a massive heart attack. Could have been either one.
ReplyDeleteGlad you like your dr. that always helps.
Oh Lordy Darlene-- After 6 shots one never knows eh?--Lynda
