SHE LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER

Holy Cow! It's October 1st---
The leaves are all over the place--They are beautiful!  As fast as I rake them up, more keep falling--And it is very warm--- it is such a gorgeous time of year!

I am later than late posting--as--- Lopez had a bath---  He liked the warm water--  the 2 canines have been out-- the wash done (cheaper to do on a Sunday)---the bed changed--and the bathroom upstairs cleaned--Sadie-- (that wonderful helper!)_ was here--

Yesterday I splurged and bought new house phones. Our others were from the "dark ages" I believe.  These new ones announce the caller --- and once you put your contacts in, it automatically goes to all the other  house phones--- pretty amazing all this new technology!

Last evening I played and played the piano-- Funny--when I play the piano, both dogs fall asleep-- It must be so soothing for them---- So, you might say my audience is  my dogs---or, maybe "my life has gone to the dogs"--- Playing the piano is very relaxing--even to me!

So, yesterday afternoon, I opened the fence on the septic side of the house and blew the leaves into the gully--That gully is a life saver --It goes beside our property and wraps around the front of the house also--I was feeling very sorry for myself, so raking  was a great outlet---You know how hard work heals?------

So, to-day is Sunday-- not a sunny Sunday---but still quite warm---

Isn't that wee little girl , just the sweetest?--- and she is so knowledgable! --LOL-----

How is your day going?---- Can you make it "the best day ever"?-------not fret about anything on this Sunday--TO_DAY!!!-----

--sit somewhere --and just let the world go by---maybe with your dog-- AND----

LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER---

  1. Yes, hard to believe it’s October already. And yes, it’s warm here, too. Doesn’t feel like Oct. 1st.

Glad you got new phones! They make a difference.

Definitely going to enjoy the day and just make it a good one!

  3. We are having extremely warm weather here....highs in the 90's! Grandson came over this morning and mowed all 4 1/3 acres! So while he mowed, I raked leaves and burned them in my burn barrel! I was hot and sweaty when we both got done! Thinking I will spend the rest of the day doing inside chores! I don't know about you, but I do not enjoy raking leaves! Glad to hear that your dogs enjoy your piano playing! Some days I turn on the tv to the music station that plays "spa" like music and my two cats seem to enjoy the relaxing music and fall asleep too! Have a blessed Sunday!

  4. Such a lovely, positive blog this morning. Love that you played your piano and all enjoyed.
Your new phones sound quite tekki. Glad you were able to get them set up and rolling. I MISS a house phone but its one less bill.
90s and sunny in St.Louis. I do not enjoy leaf raking plus paying a fee to have them removed as burning isnt allowed. Trees aren't turning as its too dry and hot. I expect leaves to drop and thats that.
You and Sadie are busy today. Yesterday sounded like a lot of work outside but maybe you could zone out and focus on the beauty of nature instead of the issues at home.
    Enjoy today
Hoping things are ok with DH

  5. I love the little girl meme and so true! The others are great too. I always do my laundry on the weekend too because it is cheaper. It is so nice today for October 1st - so warm. I would be happy if it stayed like this all winter. We don't have a lot of leaves falling yet. Nice to get new phones. They have improved a lot. Play the piano again and relax. Hope himself is going to the Lodge tomorrow. Hugs Brenda

  6. What a wonderful blog, Lynda!
I must not have clicked to 'post' my comment yesterday. When I went back to see the comments, mine wasn't there so I had to do another. Do you ever think you may be losing your mind?
Fall is beautiful. Sorry about you having to rake though. The gully is a great helper.
My Sadie had been working around here, too. Thank God for her.
Just clicked somewhere and my gmail separated from the rest of the windows. This comment was covered up, and I thought I lost another one.
Wonder what issues you have on your mac. Back in the day, I used to have one of those.
Tomorrow we can park in our lot again. I plan to go out at midnight, remove the caution tape from the entrance and exit, and park my car where I want it. I will be able to drive somewhere and not worry about getting a spot for the car when I return. Halleluiah!
Let's make our lives 'happily ever after. All we gotta do is, if something negative comes to mind that makes us feel bad, change our thought...think of something we love. I am able to do that pretty much...but not all the time. Wish I could.
    The week ahead will be wonderful...day care tomorrow, good parking here. Hope all your followers have a good one, too. {{{HUGS}}}

  7. The days sure do fly by! I was thinking of that with the full moon, that "wasn't it just a full moon last week?" Hoping that you have a good Monday!

  8. It's Kathy - I checked for your blog earlier yesterday and then forgot to recheck. By the end of yesterday I was exhausted - and I really wasn't all that busy. We hit 92 degrees and it was kind of awful. The weather people make it sound like it's such a great thing but I don't want that kind of heat in October! I'm glad you were able to relax and enjoy playing the piano. My mom used to play after we went to bed and I loved falling asleep listening to her!
