Learn to be happy right now!

We have frost---  sunshine--2 C----  a nice looking day beginning--leaves  are  off the front lawn--but more leaves on the septic bed--(hopefully this afternoon I can remove them!)------and  just terribly sad sad news from Israel--The people there will never ever be the same will they?-- It's unimaginable that  the monstrosities  that took place there could be carried out by other people ---The pictures we see  are very difficult to watch--

I think we all are a tad weird----  and that is a good thing-_We can  enjoy each others weirdness-- celebrate it--laugh a lot at it---  and enjoy each day--

This morning I am going down to an office in town who rents out Garden Homes--I need to just to see in one-- Is it large enough?-- Are there stairs and if so, would they be manageable?--If we do decide to sell this place, would one be available--?---  so many questions-- and I am trying to cover all our bases--  but---- in the back of my mind, we probably will be in this house, our home, "forever and for always"----
See???? --I really am a little weird---
I hope your day is blessed--- it's up to you to decided to make it a good day--

Remember to be kind to your dog----  and your cat---- and above all---

  1. I loved the pics today! I sent the Faerie Dust one to my sister. She's been playing a game on Facebook called Fairyland for years and years now. She loves it as much as I love the bingo games on Facebook. Today? I did small things, but they add up, you know? I took care of folding laundry too - something I'm really bad at letting pile up! But not today or this week! I will celebrate these little wins and say it's been a good day! Cheers & Hugs!

  2. Good morning, Lynda! Yes, a little weird is good! Lol I think it’s a great idea to check on a garden home. It will help seeing it and knowing if it is a possibility. Cloudy in Ohio today but that’s ok. No snow! Lol The leaves are so much work. We have took out so many trees but still leaves pile up and blow in. I hope your day is as fabulous as you!:)

  3. Great inserts. So many i want to share but cant get that to work. Not tekki. Anyway, loved all the inserts.
Oh yes, we are all weird. Are maybe we aren't and THEY are.
Good idea to look at garden unit. Gives you a true picture of possible or not. Its a tough choice but at least you can rule it in or out as a maybe. Your house is massive so nothing will be large enough. And you've got big Beau.. Some day I hope to get clear direction on moving closer to son but last attempt at that landed me here and he divorced and moved 60 miles away. Thats our only family, no grands. Hubs is frail and that presents another whole boatload of challenges. Sigh
Its sunny and warmer in St.Louis today. Furnace has been on a few days but 80sF today.
Enjoy your day. Carry your positivity with you. Spread your lovely smile everywhere.

  4. Loved Andy Rooney yesterday. And the little girl… almost spit out my coffee! So funny!
I just bought a skeleton top that has his head tilted. It says “Keep it Weird “. Thought that it was great to wear. Kids will love it.
I hope that the cottages will work. It will be interesting.
Today I have lunch out with some friends and tomorrow I have more friends over for lunch. I plan on two days of giggling and therapy! Ha ha
I am not ready for frost. Please keep it up there for awhile. I still have some flowers that are blooming in the cold. I noticed that my bird feeder seemed vacant and they must have also moved on. I’m ready for the next group. It might have been because of a hawk sitting in the roof.
Good luck today and find sometime to giggle.

  5. I cannot imagine how those in Israel can possibly ever be the same. Ever.

Well, it certainly cannot hurt to look @ what is available in Garden Homes. Gives you ideas.

LOVE Snoopy’s attitude. Mom used to always say not everyone will like you and you won’t like everyone but you have to be respectful. Good advice.

Hurray for the weird! Embracing and loving it!

  6. Can't imagine being anywhere near Israel and I hope the Jewish people here are not treated badly because of Hamas's activities over there. It's awful. It will be interesting to see the garden homes and if they're at al suitable and if pets are ok. Still not sure moving is a good idea for himself. Have a good night. Brenda

  7. It's Kathy. I love the Snoopy quotes - he is such a wise doggie! My Daisy is not very happy with me - we've had no walks since Saturday. The weather has been okay but I'm just not. Today it's cloudy and we're expecting rain to come by this evening - tomorrow rain all day! I pulled in some of my plants but there are so many more to take care of before it snows! I think it's good to know what your options are as far as housing. Not sure how much longer we will want to be in our home - mostly because the yard has become so difficult to care for! One day at a time, right! Have a good day.

  9. More great memes!
On FB I copied and pasted (it was about the feral pets): please spay and neuter your pets and weird friends.
Of course, some people would consider us weird. We all have our own beliefs and perspectives. We'd be a good match.
I believe you are wise to consider all your possibilities regarding where to live and whether or not to move. If you stay, you must get more help.
Not too cold here...about 47F. Breezy and periodic light rain.
My Sadie got some laundry done, will do more tomorrow. There's never an end. When the clothes get done, it's towels, bedding, my recliner cover and matching blanket, etc.
The rain is supposed to continue through tomorrow. Saturday it should be sunny again.
Hope it's dry and pleasant when you go out to rake.
Can't wait to find out how your tour goes today and whether or not you were pleased. Sometimes there are waiting lists.
    This dreary day is perfect for me to take a wee nap with my cuddle buddy, Lucky. I'll check back later. {{{HUGS}}}
