Do It Anyway-

Lopez and I have fought the bugs (with a bug hat) outside- and  we will go out again later---   I hear that the grown multitudes (our kids)-are departing to-morrow for southern areas ---to Canada's Wonderland near Barrie, Ontario, and some going cherry picking in Michigan.  We used to do that---Nowadays we do not travel too far---Do you?   ---
I really do wish dogs lived longer----so sad when they pass--and life
is expensive right now for sure!

It is Saturday-----  I believe our daughter might leave Monday--drive thru Michigan--then into Ohio--It's always a sad day when grown kids head back home-

-The wash is done--- vacuuming finished --dog walked-hoses on the grass --and it's lunch time.. How is your day going?--- Are you grocery shopping to-day?---I shall get there (to the grocery store) to-morrow morning--early I hope!--
                                                    -----Something to think about below---

"The good you do to-day, will often be forgotten-"----DO IT ANYWAY
"If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous"---BE HAPPY ANYWAY
Happy Sunday----  Enjoy your family----  Hug your Dog----We are so fortunate to be alive-

                                                                Hugs to you!

  1. Hugs to you! Everything is expensive if you ask me....but I am going to spend some money to travel as my son has invited me to travel to Hawaii with them! Makes me so happy that want to include me in their plans! My problem is now I have to find someone to house/cat/pool sit for me for 12 days while I am gone! My granddaughter that usually does it will be on vacation so she can't! Of course I couldn't sleep last night as I am worried about finding someone else....and I have already purchased my flights to go to CA to join my son for the trip! Oh well, I just need to have faith that things will all work out! And I think that today is Saturday, not Sunday - you gave me a minute where I had to pause and think about it! haha! So Happy Saturday to you! And Happy Sunday tomorrow! :-)

  2. Lynda, I plan to have a happy Saturday AND a happy Sunday!
Not cherry picking, but I remember my mom and I searching for mushrooms and/or huckleberries. Mushrooms were in the woods. She knew which were edible.
You have already accomplished lots today. I have, too, with Sadie's help. More to go, but I needed a break. That's why I'm doing what I'm doing now!
It's almost lunch time here, too. First Lucky needs attention and the kitchen floor needs cleaning. (Sadie, where did you go?)
Karaoke tonight so I need to get a nap. Hopefully today I will get my bed changed with my new sheets. Then shower, eat something and pick up JoAnne.
Keeping busy can make one tired, but it's good exercise. The sense of accomplishment and satisfaction is more than pleasant.
I trust the four of you will continue your awesome day!
I saved 2 memes today...Mother Teresa and the one about Noah and the animals for sure! {{{HUGS}}} Love, your sis, Maggie

  3. It's Kathy. It's a quiet day around here today. Later Tom is going to the Art Center for a gallery opening. But it's too hard for me to stand for any length of time so I will be staying home with Daisy. Yes, I also wish dogs lived longer. I will miss her so much once she's gone to doggie heaven! But I will be forever grateful that she decided to come into our lives. No shopping for me today - maybe sometime next week. I'm sure you will miss your daughter and her children. We don't travel much anymore. That trip to Roanoke was so much harder than it has ever been. Enjoy your day!

  4. The cherries are sooooooo good this year!

Yes, for sure, a dog’s life is definitely not long enough to suit me! Such wonderful companions.

Awwww, well squeeze every bit of happiness into your soul while DD and the kids are there.

    HUGS to you

  5. Hi Lyda! We went to the Farmer's Market a couple miles away this morning and then got some iced coffee. No, I do not travel at all. I get anxiety on hectic highways so I like it close to home in the cornfields. LOL I'm sure you will miss everyone when they are gone but you will enjoy the quiet with your book or playing the piano. Those bugs sound awful. I bet little Lopez does not like them. Tommy didn't feel well yesterday with an upset stomach but I think he is much better today because he has been aggravating his big sister, Kloi. She is 8 and Tommy is 14 months old. She still doesn't like him too much. LOL It is sunny and 86 in Ohio today. We may get in the pool tonight after dinner. We will see. Hope you have a wonderful day. Tomorrow we must rest. Hugs!

  6. Hi Lynda: Yes, I wish dogs lived longer too. Boy, you sure get bugs real bad. Lopez must really hate it as he probably doesn't have a bug suit. Cherry picking - that would be fun. Love the cherries when they are out. Ontario strawberries are first then cherries. I think Wonderland is closer to Toronto that Barrie - long drive. Have a good evening, Brenda

  7. I'm grateful for every day with a dog, even the challenging ones, so I join you in wishing that they lived longer. I love that poem "Anyway"... the importance of doing the right thing anyway, even when not appreciated.
