It's Kathy. It's good to think about the things that make us happy! Life can be challenging at times. My husband invited me to go out for breakfast today but it's just too hard with my pain. I feel like I have to save my energy for the things that need to be done before my surgery! So many things! Our adult children do like to offer suggestions, don't they. And we listen graciously and then do what we know is best! I hope himself is feeling better today!
ReplyDeleteDear Kathy--- All is good to-day--Weird how life is eh?---Himself is more Himself--which is good--lovely day here-- will be going to the dock--Lynda
DeleteYes, grown kids do have their opinions about how we should be living our lives. Well, I just listen too, and then do what I know is best. LOL
ReplyDeleteHOPE it’s a great day today and you get to enjoy your DD;s company.

Hi Barb--- Yes--- Grown kids think they need to direct us--LO--That is OK--WE just listen--- All is good with Himself also--- I LOVE it!-- Lynda
DeleteYou are a busy girl, Lynda! Great blog as always.
ReplyDeleteSaved the last meme.
Just returned from my daughter's where I met her mother-in-law and her fiance. They met on line on Silver Sneakers! He is a cat man! Also has the same name as my ex...Ron. Nora made pancakes served with bacon, sausage and several different kinds of syrup.
Karaoke tonight.
Hope you accomplish what you set out to do...and get some relaxation, too. Himself must be okay today.
Will check this later, sis. Let's give Sadie a day off! {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
Enjoy that Karaoke-- I know you will-- Lynda
DeleteHi Lynda, certainly glad to read that himself is good today. Last night sure wasn't. I'm proud of you for not crying.
ReplyDeleteEgad I hate snakes and hate hearing you have more than usual in your garden. Hope that don't eat Thomas. We live in a villa so I haven't seen a snake in decades. No water nearby
I hope your snake man can come get them and soon.
I got an early start 5am and Sadie and me accomplished it all including linen change and laundry. Wahoo. I just came home from pantry stocking and picking up a few items. Including bananas.
LOVED your inserts. Dream on about what makes you happy including your kids and fur kids.
As far as your kids telling you how to live...you got this. Listen and do what you think is right. It's your life and your set of circumstances.
Hugs and blessings

hi Marge--It was a good day here-- --nice--Lynda
DeleteHi Lynda: I doubt we have more snakes here as I am in Toronto but wouldn't really know as I can't garden as I can't even bend down. Since your daughter is still there hopefully she sees more of how himself acts. Hope the rain has stopped for the rest of her visit. Have a great night. Brenda
ReplyDeleteSaw no more snakers -==- happy about that-:Lynda
DeleteOh, dear, I hope it's not so (about an increase in snake population) around here, as I'm a real fraidy-cat when it comes to snakes! Funny, when walking in the tall grass at the dog park, that was what I was thinking about: what if there are snakes in that grass... I mean we've had some flooding in the area... animals get moved around when mother nature takes a hand in things!
ReplyDeleteHope your day went smoothly and your errands all got done... and that you got that visit from your daughter!
Hi Barb--- good day here-- Thank goodness--Lynda
