Don't let the stupid stuff break your spirit...

Good morning----  cold----  misty----with fog rising from the lake---

It is  getting colder---and every morning now, we see fog rising from the lake--- 3 degrees--
Yesterday the trees were amazingly beautiful--
Our leaves are falling --lotza raking--and---blowing leaves away--

Son#2 , the Air Canada Pilot sent a picture of the bed above the cockpit, for a pilot to catch a quick nap, while the other pilots fly the plane--He flies the Dreamliner where there are  about 4 pilots--so, on the Dream Liner  they take turns grabbing a rest---He says the sheets are layer-ed so  they pull them off a- ready for the next pilot--Ever neat eh??
Lopez and I must hoof it up the road-then I must get  to town to get a passport picture done and--then bring Lopez back home--and go for groceries--always something eh?--- I shall probably add more to this blog when I get back home-- Meanwhile-----  Enjoy yer day--- AND------

                                                                        Later then----

  1. Good morning Lynda
Your trees are stunning. Potential buyers can admire the glorious scenery (and not think about raking those devils lol).
The bed on dreamliner looks much larger than I'd have imagined. The sheet system sounds like a good plan.
Stay strong....hang in as it will work out. Having so much interest in your property in an off season for selling is a Good sign. Hoping offers follow soon. Stay calm, strong and confident..it will work out. I'm glad himself is being cooperative with the showings.
Stay strong, be safe. Talk to you later.

  2. Your trees are beautiful....no colorful leaves here yet! Drought conditions might make the leaves go from green to brown.....had two days of freeze temps and now we are back in the 70's for another week and no rain in site! Love it that you are so upbeat this morning and are getting so much done already! The thought of the pilots pulling off the layered sheets was eye-opening! What a great idea! Sending prayers and hugs that you get some offers on your home soon!

  5. The trees ARE amazing! Ours are, too. And the bed looks comfy. I'm glad that it's there for the pilots.
Colder every night and morning, but warms up briefly in the afternoon. Tomorrow it's supposed to reach 80F (26.667C)! It won't last long.
Found both washers empty so I'm doing lotsa laundry today. It's overdue.
Karaoke tonight. \All but one bills paid. Will do the other now.
Lucky is saying he needs attention, though.
YOU and yours have a marvelous weekend, too, sis. It's mostly in our attitude and noticing and appreciating 'the good stuff.' {{{HUGS}}},
    Love, Maggie

  6. It's Kathy. Wow, it's so beautiful at your home. We only have one very big maple tree in our back yard and it's only now starting to turn. It's been so dry the last 2 months that I think a lot of the leave will just fall off. I loved seeing the bed for the pilots - what a great idea. I always wonder on these flights that are so long - not that I'll be doing that any more. I'm ready to just stay home! Although I am getting stronger. Today we went shopping for a few new winter things and I managed to walk through the store just fine. Then we stopped at the Dollar Store to pick up some Halloween cards for the little boys. Again, all good. Next week I'm going with for groceries! And I think I'll start doing more of the cooking because I'm ready for some REAL food again! Last night Tom went out for Chow Mein which was really good but probably not the healthiest meal. We always have enough for 2 nights. I'm going to see if Tom will go with Daisy and me so we can walk part of the path sometime this weekend. I can't do it alone because if we see another person I have to leash her and she pulls. I should be able to do it in a few more weeks but I'm afraid there will be snow by then. I hope you have a good day and get all your errands done!

  7. Marti here. Enjoy your day. It sure looks lovely there. Our maples lining our condos on our side of the loop are just starting to turn. Soon, I bet within a week or two, they will all be a beautiful red all down the street. Wish I could attach pictures here. I do love myself some autumn. Best season in Ohio by far. My friend from Columbus Ohio drove to me (45 min away), to have lunch out with me and then we played some Pictionary. That game always makes me giggle, us trying to draw these silly things before the hourglass runs out.
