YEEHAW---

I just heard on CBC TV, the weather man--- referring to  October--as "Hot-ober"----lovely---Just a few words here, before taking Lopez out---The sun is somewhere , up there--not shining too brightly yet, but it does look promising----

Well, we are going to receive offers this morning--actually----"an" offer, I think!--I do not know , even , if it is an offer that we can accept--or not--It will be interesting-- And I will let you all know as soon as I can--So, I am going to take Lopez out and will return shortly-

back----  walked Lopez --heard from Son#2 and wife---  They are all excited for us--because if all works out, we will be moving to their area-They are out walking--said there is not even one car on the road--my kind of "area"--

Lopez and I "hoofed" it up the road--and back--but will need to go again--He did not do his business--

Himself seems pretty good this morning---no yelling and screaming---Amazing how going to his day program (yesterday) puts his mind back into an almost normal phase -- Odd isn't it--just getting out of this house--

So how are yu doing with the Halloween junk?   --alias--candy?--Have you devoured all of it yet?---Do you have to replentish your supply?--- (sadly I have!)----But----When I  do get out to buy more--maybe I shall buy all stuff that I hate--maybe raisins---something healthy---Any ideas?----

OK----Time to get ready for "Opening the offer"--- Lordy be!--  Please God, make it a good offer !!!!

  3. It's Kathy. I hope it is a very good offer! Here in the states people are offering above asking price. Real Estate agents are having to get creative in getting their client's offer accepted! At least that's how it worked when Lauriellen bought her house last year. Speaking of Lauriellen, we have a pre-trial court date tomorrow and, of course, Bryan has caused more problems. He now wants joint physical custody - but only of Jake and only when he is in school. What about little Roman??? That man is the definition of self-serving! And in spite of all the special needs of the boys, the judge we have seems to want dads to have rights. So we're a bit worried! I'm happy that himself is being more like himself today. I do think getting out is good for him.

  5. HOPE that it’s a good offer. You have a lovely home . . . and it’ll be good for you and Himself to move on.

Happy that Himself is more calm today. What a difference a day makes, right!

No candy here. Just bits 'n' bobs -- halloween pencils, little halloween rings, raisins.

HUGS to you and fingers crossed that all is good w/the offer(s)

  6. Marti here. DO wish you the bestest of the best. Halloween candy? I don't buy any for myself, because I have Type 2 Diabetes and now, a new continuously variable monitor that I just LOVE. I can check anytime I want by holding my smartphone up to it. It's due to expire here at about 6 pm, then I must remove it and put on/in a new one. I get two per month, only like $26. The doc had told me sometimes the insurance companies won't pay, but mine does! Hooray! I am very fortunate.

  12. It disappeared my comment again! I sent it to myself email. Here is what I said: Lynda, I am so pleased for you! I can't wait to 'hear' if the offer is acceptable. You may be able to move before spring...expecialy cuz it's 'hot-ober.'
Nice here, too. Not quite as warm as it has been. It's supposed to cool down a bit more over the next couple days. None of that white stuff is predicted, though. Rain is coming. That says that it's still warmish.
Already got some stuff done today and more to do yet. Sadie is not needed, however.
I know going on his outing helped Himself. Socializing is important for brain and overall health.
It's early, but I am already ready for a snooze with my guardian angel kitty. I really feel that's what he is. We take care of each other. I don't know what I'd do without him.
I will check back here later. Maybe I will see then how the offer was and whether you can accept it. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  14. Lynda; so glad you received an acceptable offer and you can now start the awful process of getting ready to move. When does the house close? Hopefully some family members will help! Have a good night. Brenda

  15. Lynda, I'm so grateful you got a good offer and can move forward!! I know you will be busy and have sooo much to do until suddenly it's done and you are in your new village. The fact that your Son #2 and his wife are exicted ... we are blessed when we have a child like this.

  16. I am so happy that you accepted the offer and will be moving to a smaller place. I know it will be wonderful having your son and DIL living above you. You will have some help now when you need it.
