Today is a wonderful day to have a wonderful day.

-A quick blog to let you all know that I am thinking of you--and  surviving quite well here-- Son#2 the Pilot has been informing me of all the necessary things- and the order of each, to do, before a move--also helping with Himself --a huge help for me--  I am trying very hard to keep Lopez away from Himself and his cane----

We all went to our local Chinese restaurant last evening for supper--They did a great job  with the food-- Chinese people do love Chinese food--lots of it--platters and platters-- ---Grandchildren, their parents,  Baha, (who is Grandfather)--and  myself, with lots of leftover dishes for each family to take home. It was a feast!-

I did receive all your emails and have made a note of each so , yes, we definitely will keep in touch---Somewhere along the way, there will be  a day or 2 to get the computer hooked up to a new server---and there will be a break there of a few days--

So , at almost 83 yrs, I am doing it--I shudda made this move many years ago--the move to DOWNSIZE---Good thing for son#2 eh to help ---The apartment we are moving to really will make life so much easier for both of us--and it seems like a quiet area---driveable---no outside work--lakes around--

So, I must keep my nose to the grindstone here--(Dad's expression)---oh----So---Do you think Dad just might be watching over all this?---

Justa reminder  of how special we all are--"YOU ARE"------NEVER allow anyone to ever tell you differently--Have a wonderful day , you very special person~

  3. Hi Lynda, thank you for taking time to write. We all love you and get concerned when there's no post...but...we do understand. You are terribly busy right now. Your priority is packing, sorting and deciding what goes in new, smaller space and what to do with the rest. It's quite a JOB.
So happy #2 is helping you and with Fred. God bless him
    Dinner out sounds wonderful.
    Glad you got everyone together.
Keep breathing, stay strong and positive.
I hope you have a floorplan so you can figure out what goes where, what will fit. About a million decisions lol
Having #2 and wife so close will really be good for Fred. #2 is very caring. It's going to be good for you and Fred. It's quite a lovely town.
    Hugs and blessings

  4. It's Kathy. I am so glad your son is helping you with all the logistics and also helping with himself. Your dinner last night sounds so good! I made dinner for the first time all by myself last night. It was a bit of a challenge but it shows that I am healing - even though at a much slower pace than my liking! Have a great day!

  7. Hi Lynda: Really glad son #2 is helping with the move. The one that lives that farthest away right now helps the most! Is he there now to help or from afar? Are they going to still fly from Toronto, Ottawa or retire? I think this will be a good move for you guys (once it is finished!) Much less work for you after the move. Have a good night. Hugs Brenda

  9. You have my information, sis. I have 2 books to send. One was the one I promised, "Kinship with all Life," the other is the first book or the author I know...signed. I will wait to send them 'til you're settled. I found out my author's 2nd book in the series won't be ready 'til mid December to mid January. You wouldn't be able to read them now anyway.
Wow! A Chinese feast. If it was for a specific holiday, I missed that, too. Glad you enjoyed it.
Also happy you have help with all the procedures involved in moving. Try to find some time for relaxation...music, etc. and know we're all rooting for you {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  10. Hi Lynda! Your Chinese family meal sounds so nice! You needed that! Nice day in Ohio. Not much Sadie on Sundays. Our fave. How was your day? Probably busy. I will celebrate my birthday this year in your honor on December 10. I will know you are moved! Yay!!

  11. Just keep putting one foot in front of the other and all will somehow get sorted and packed! So happy that the decision is behind you, the house is sold, and you can retire from the driveway and lawn care business!!
Keep collecting empty boxes when you can…when I moved last year, I had almost 100 that I packed!! It is stressful but you are strong and will make it thru just fine!! Eissa7/Karen
