Halloween and an Emotionally stable woman-?-

Heavy rain outside---as you can see in the picture --It is rain tho--so far--not snow! Good morning to all---  Halloween --Trick or Treat----I shall return--must get Lopez out--into weather--still dark here--

Are any of you going out to-night, with or without  your children--grandchildren??--- I will be inside--and we usually do not get the wee ones at our door--Some years both Himself and I used to dress up---  Now we are just happy to turn out the lights and "hit the hay" as Dad used to say--(He just told me that!)

I shall return --in an hour or so---  -10am here now--

I just found out that my email address will remain the same---even after the move-- W will pay a small fee to our present server to have "email only"---- so the email address for the blog, will be ---                                fldunloplake@vianet.ca--------  My blog is "leanjean6.blogspot.com. "---and-- I am applying for a new gmail address----'specially if I could use "leanjean6@gmail.com"--but will keep you all informed--

interesting eh??--  But --from wherever you all are." leanjean6.blogspot.com" should open up the blog--

  1. Oh boy. At least it’s not snow for you. We’re having rain, too.

Staying put inside. Best place to be! Cozy and comfy.

BWAHAHAHA! I totally identify. My costume this year as an emotionally stable woman will make me unrecognizable!

    Have a good day w/Himself!

  2. Good morning, Lynda! Happy Halloween! My husband works until 7 then we will have dinner and hit the hay, as well. Windy in Ohio but no rain so that will be nice for all the trick or treaters. Tommy and Kloi say hi to Lopez and Sushi. Woof! Hope you have a great day! Hugs!

  3. It's Kathy. We woke up to some really heavy rain and now it's snowing. Not a fan! The weather guy says it should stop in time for trick or treating but he also said it wouldn't snow until late morning. It started her about 9 am. And it's raining on the inside of our house too - Tom says there's a shingle that's not all there. He'll have to fix it when the weather clears up. Daisy has her annual check up today - she will not be happy with us! Have a good day.

  4. Lynda, I will await your return. But...raining here, too. Snow showers expected later.
Lucky is sleeping already, so I have a chance to get something done.
With the weather, we probably won't get many kids. We will have leftover candy for sure.
    Did you see my email?
TTU later, sis. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie

  5. Kids here get to Trick or Treat two nights. I got back home from lake house around 7PM last night and flipped my porch light on - but no kids - thinking they probably came earlier before I got home. Will turn the porch light on again tonight as I need to get rid of the candy so I don't eat it! Had to go to the lake house to meet with a landscaper - going to spend big bucks on walls and rock to level the place up. I am tired of traveling 3 hours to stand on the steep hillside with a weed whacker! I talked it over with my kids and told them I was spending their inheritance and they said go for it! My son#2 is rebuilding the deck for me and doing a great job! He isn't a builder, but he googles everything and teaches himself! Love him! Guess those #2 sons are pretty special!

  6. Hi Lynda, I loved all your inserts today. My witch hat comes out from time to time...as necessary.
We don't get trick or theaters here in the villas so I don't buy candy. Works for me as I'd eat it.
Bad winds last night. Tornado sirens at 2:30 am. We got a heavy rain and winds. Temps dropped 20 degrees from yesterday. Crazy St.Louis weather.
Fingers crossed you don't get snow accumulation until you are outta there.
Great news on blog address etc. Gmail is easy to set up. Hope you get the name you'd like.
How's it going with purging? Big job. I hope you have a floor plan for new house to figure out what can go. Sunday is daylight savings time change so you've got your 50 clocks to change lol. Not 50 but a lot.
Having movers pack and insure your things is probably the best way. Usually you don't even have to unload dresser drawers. No doubt you have a lot of coats and clothes to go through. Big job moving but very exciting. Wish I was closer as I'd love to help. I hope Fred is ok with the plan...guess he'll have to be. It's time for one level living. Very happy for you and grateful for #2 son.
Hugs dear lady. Stay strong and positive. We're all supporting you in thought and orayer.
    Hugs. Lots of hugs
    Marge St.Louis

  9. Cool. Happy Halloween! We don't get people here either, it's a condo community. And mostly seniors. I like to decorate outdoors for Halloween though, light up pumpkins and such. And also indoors!

  10. Some years we get a few children, and others we get a lot of children at our house. I'll be handing out the candy this year, as my son-in-law and daughter are out of town on a vacation. Usually, he loves to hand out the candy and often dresses up to do it ... he enjoys children so much. Sadly, I've already been eating candy. As soon as it seems the kids are done, I'll put it in the kids' bedroom ... hopefully that will keep me out of it. They get home tomorrow and I'm telling them it needs to leave the house or stay in their room.
