First of all, you need to enable 3rd Party cookies. That will help fix your Whoops errors. So if you're on Firefox, turn off your Enhanced Tracking Protection. Near Comment, Click where it says Google Account and an arrow, you see the three ways to comment: Select profile... A) use your Google account, so that there is a profile picture next to your comment OR B) use your name line and then put in your User name, whatever name you want people to know you by, the second line for a website is optional OR C) be ANONYMOUS. When you have finished typing your comment, please copy it into your clipboard (your computer memory), in case there is a problem. Then you can paste it in again if necessary. Some comments disappear. Click the Publish button when you are done, you may see a box that says, I am not a robot ----Click there--then click -Publish. Do not check the Notify me button, unless you want contacted by email whenever anyone leaves a comment on this blog. Come back again soon, to see if there are any replies to your comment, and to join again in the discussion. If you do not see the comments, you need to click the title of the blog, to separate that blog from the main page or click Comments at the bottom of the blog, either way. It's okay if you double post, the extra ones will be removed soon if they are exactly the same as one before. Thank you!
By all means, keep us posted. I follow you every day and want to stay up to date with your move! Wishing you every success....keep calm and carry on, as they say!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you'll have family nearby who can help you with things like getting your Internet sorted out for you. Yes please post as often as you can. Love & Hugs from down under!
ReplyDeleteLynda, that will be very nice to keep on reading your blogs and know what's going on for you and Fred. If it gets too busy a time for you, we'll understand if you cannot blog. I will send my email address to you. xoxo
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that you will be moving a little earlier so that you should be settled in by Christmas. Reading your blog every day is part of my routine and I look forward to check and see how you are doing. Please keep in touch. Madeline
ReplyDeleteSo happy to hear all is okay. I am sure you have seen the missed phone calls from me. Did you get the missing comment that I emailed to you?
ReplyDeleteYou've got my phone, email address, and you can FB messenger me, too.
How are Lopez and Himself dealing with the goings-on?
Take it one step at a time, sis...and be happy. {{{HUGS}}} Love, Maggie
I agree with what the others have said. I was worried yesterday although I knew you are busier than ever. I will send you an email so that you have my address and then whatever comes of this method is fine with me. Email - blog. No problem either way.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you are getting the movers lined up and plans in the works. There will be 1001 decisions to be made but it will all work out Ain the end. My gut feeling is move while the weather is decent You may even miss the first heavy snow to shovel this way. What a shame!!! Nope
The leaves are falling now here in the midwest US. They were never very pretty because of no rain. High in the 60's today so I'm glad I finally put away the summer outfits.
Hang in there, Lynda. This will soon be a thing of the past and you can go on with the next chapter in your life. I certainly wish you the best on the plans and take a deep breath and smile. It will really help. Dot
either way I love the blog and I think it might be a bit easier if you just blog and we all understand that you may or may not answer my idea only 1 blog many emails I will email you so you can add me to the email list I love your blogs they make my day
ReplyDeleteIt's Kathy. Yes, I would love to hear from you. My email address is: tomkat1949@yahoo.com. I will copy yours down into my contact list. I can only imagine how much you have to do before you move. I hope some of your children will come out to help you pack things up! That's been the thing that has kept us from actually pursuing a move. But once I'm healed I do want to get a lot of the excess stuff out of here. We have so much that we just do not use or need anymore. This morning I went with Tom to the grocery store - it was hard but it felt amazing!
ReplyDeleteI was concerned yesterday but figured you were super busy, which I understand completely. I so enjoy reading your blog every day and would love to keep in touch. I’ll email you my address.
ReplyDeleteI would love to keep hearing from you, even if only occasionally. I will email you. I know the next few weeks will be very busy for you. Take care.
ReplyDeleteI sent you an email jus now! :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Lynda, you are going to be very busy in the coming weeks, so it's understandable that you won't be able to blog every day. Once you get settled, I think you'll find it much easier to write a single blog rather than responding to many, many emails. Just a thought. Everyone enjoys hearing from you, so whatever proves to be the easiest way for you to communicate is what everyone will adjust to. Have a wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteI don't follow you regularly since Spark closed and whatever is best for you, you should do. Personally it seems like doing a blog on a periodic basis would be the easiest. Those who follow you, know you are going to be super busy from now until you get settled in your new place. Wishing you and Himself all the luck in making this move as easy as possible.
ReplyDeleteI've sent you and email already. :D You do whatever is best for you ... we'll be here cheering you on in this new adventure. Eyes on the prize, and that will get you through the hard work and tough spots.
ReplyDeleteHi Lynda, reading your daily posts makes my day happier. We all understand you are crazy busy.
ReplyDeleteSending an email to everyone would seem to take longer than a short blog WHEN YOU CAN. We've all been through this and understand. We just want to know you and Fred are OK.
Carry on strong lady! You got this.

I would love to continue reading your blog. It’s part of my daily routine and really miss when you’re unable to post. I understand how busy you are so whatever is most convenient for you is fine. Do you want us to leave our emails here?
ReplyDeleteMy email address is donnatsourounis@yahoo.ca
DeleteIt has been awhile since I posted but I thought I would chime in and tell you how happy I am that you are finally moving and will no longer have to worry about how to care for such a big house through another long winter. We had a big house in Vermont but sold it 6 years ago to move to a much smaller one in New Hampshire. It was a great move for us and the timing was perfect. I wish you well during this busy time. I will send my email but I think if you jump on quickly and tell everyone you are fine once in a while it would be easier for you. Your blog is a favorite read for me each day but I know how busy you are going to be. Remember you are downsizing so take only what you think you will need or really want and the rest let go . . . in the end it is just stuff. . . and we all accumulate too much stuff over the years.
ReplyDeletePlease keep me updated. I read your blog every day. I will be sending you my email address. I wish your move is peaceful and orderly.
ReplyDeleteI would think, Lynda, that you can group the email addresses into one group and just write one email and it will go to all. Don't ask me how to do that but I'd bet it could be done. Good luck. Dot
ReplyDeleteLynda -
DeleteAddress the e-mail to yourself and use the bcc (blind carbon copy) for folks sending it to to avoid SPAM.
A list can be created & named as you get e-mails and put the list name in the bcc section.
Myself, I mainly sent my e-mail address to you so that I can be contacted when things settle into your new routine. Not expecting a daily blog while you are in the whirlwind of activity just didn't want to be lost in the shuffle until you get a new routine.

Phoenix, Thanks for sending that info to her. I knew there was a way but my brain was frozen at the time I wrote. Lynda, do whatever works best for you. Dot

ReplyDeleteContact me anytime you want - or do a group email for those who give you their email so we know you are okay and how it's going.
I think we already have each others email, but here it is again in case. Love, hugs, n prayers Lynda.
Hi Lynda: Yes, I would like to continue hearing from you. I love all your blogs. My email address is: brendajackson403@yahoo.ca. I am not technically literate so have no suggestions on how you should continue to stay in touch with all of us. I know you will be very busy from now to move date and wish you lots of luck getting everything done! Just know we all care about what happens with you and Fred. Hugs Brenda
ReplyDeleteHi, it's Marti. I just sent you an email. Do whatever is best for YOU!
ReplyDeleteHi Lynda! Good for you almost have a mover hired! Hope you are doing well and had a nice day. Weather cooler this weekend in Ohio but sunny. Always love your blog. Do what is easier for you. Stay strong. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteIt seems to me that you are complicating things with the blogging. If you just post here, those of us commenting here would see it. I presume the same would work for Facebook. (I've never had an account there.) It wouldn't have to be long or complicated, just that you are there and okay. Blogspot can be accessed from almost anywhere, so you wouldn't have to worry about e-mail service, etc. As long as you could access the internet, you could post. You might not have access to some of your memes or photos, but those could be left out for a while until you are settled.
ReplyDeleteAnyway I wish you the best, most uncomplicated move ever and I look forward to reading about your new life.
Hi Lynda! That’s nice of you to offer to keep us posted. You are going to be crazy busy for awhile. But it’s going to be worth it come winter and you can read, bake, and play your piano instead of worrying about the ice and snow in the driveway. You are so deserving of an enjoyable lifestyle.

I think I would literally cry if I did not get to read your blog each day. I have been reading your life stories for years! I feel like you are a family member. Please keep your blog here. Email is so unpredictable with junk, spam, and trash. Plus, your blogs create a legacy for your children and grandchildren to keep hold of. I would have loved for my parents to blog as you do, as it would be great memories of them for my siblings, the grandchildren, and me.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you and all the others. We would miss an important part of out day if we couldn't read about Lynda, Himself and the pets...and then return later to see the comments.
DeleteI know I read this yesterday and sent my addy along, but just in case (since I don't see it here):

Hello Lynda! Sent you an email with my email! Also sending you hugs!
ReplyDeleteI hope you'll keep posting on fb. I tried the email but my yahoo would not take it here in the USA.???? Donna_cps2
ReplyDeleteI hope you will put me on your email list. I read your letters but sometimes just don't have a chance to comment.
