  1. It's Kathy. You deserve a real "rest" day. Yes, I can believe you forgot your hair day! There has been so much going on for you for so long. This is certainly like a breath of fresh air. I am also feeling some relief after that horrible day in court yesterday with my daughter. She really needs to step up because I can't do this much longer! So I am also taking a breath today! Tom and I will make dinner together! And I WILL do my physical therapy exercises - I missed the last 2 days. My body just didn't want to cooperate! I'm so happy for you!

  2. Hi Lynda! It’s ok to rest and be in the clouds! You deserve it. Lots of pressure lately! Sorry you forgot your hair appointment. Women have a lot to carry in our heads so it is easy to do. So nice in Ohio today. I went for cold coffee just to go through the drive thru and get out a bit. Now I am resting with the yorkies. Enjoy your rest! Hugs!

  3. Hi Lynda, I'm glad you are taking a rest day. Long overdue. I do hope you can dump any doubts and just be joyful.
It's ok to forget hair apt. She's understanding and, once you start tearing things apart, your hair won't matter lol
I do hope you'll get help with sorting, packing, purging, selling. Your realtor may have some contacts for those services. Fingers crossed inspection goes great and closing happens as scheduled.
I'm so happy for you. Do hope Fred is taking it well. Lots to do. You head will be spinning. Once you're settled with pilot upstairs it will be the best decision ever. No more going back and forth with sell or stay etc. Last year you had no offers and this time it sold in a week. This move is meant to be. I hope the boys will help you....hope so.
Enjoy today. Stay positive. Strong and happy. Very happy for you. Your birthday in a new place Wahoo.
    Hugs, love and admiration

PS if you can't talk to us every day we'll know your packing. We're all sending you best wishes. We're all proud of you. You truly are strong and so very special.

  4. You more than deserve the day to just think happy thoughts. In fact, I would probably take a couple of days and then start .n with the move. I love the look of the sold sign - as someone said, quite a change from last year. However, last year you had no plaalns of where to move to and weren't as convinced that it is the right thing to do. All is ready to go full speed ahead. Ignore the nay-sayers and think positive thoughts.

Can't believe this weather - the leaves aren't turning the colors like normal and instead are just getting brown. That plus the corn and soy beans being harvested means lotsa dust and allergies. Please, can't we have some rain!!! Dot

  6. Hi Lynda: So glad it sold quickly. Having to keep it looking perfect and getting all out of the house is such a pain! But Dec 9th!!! That will be a challenge for you. Does himself understand? You certainly were entitled to have a rest day. Congrats again! Hugs Brenda

  7. Hi Lynda, why not take the next few days off, and begin on Monday deciding what you'll take, what you'll sell and what you'll throw away? Of course that's after taking Himself to the Lodge. Is there a chance you will actually get to see the apartment so get an idea of what there is room for? You won't have as many closets in the apt., so you'll have to decide what clothes you'll be taking. Maybe Matt and his wife could come for a couple of days and help you. It would be nice if your other sons would come and help, but if they're not happy about the house being sold, they may not offer to help. It will all come together for you.

  9. Is Himself happy about the move or does he understand what is going on? Happy for you and I believe I'd rest and pick up Monday. Hope you can find someone to help you sell the items you won't have room for.............I am sorry you 2 boys don't help, and your daughter is too far away to do much....#2 seems to be more concerned with what is going on, so I'm sure he will do all he can to facilitate this getting accomplished.
I do hope you will have room for your piano.........
    Hugs Lynda...

  10. Lynda I am so happy for you. Selling a house is a big deal.
I am working on getting rid of "junk" around our house. I spent 30 min. just cleaning up the paper work in the kitchen.
How does that accumulate so fast! Have a great day. Just a thought can the grandkids help you pack stuff.
    Your friend Bev

  11. Lynda, you deserve a few days of just BEING. Is there any way you can hire a company to help you pack? We did that when we moved from Illinois to Wisconsin. Made a daunting job less daunting. Anyway, you are on your way to a new, BETTER chapter in life.
