As we age, we start to forget things-

And--it is a new day--  so, I shall start all over again! -Yesterday, I worried about going to  the grandchild's concert--I knew there would be so many people there, probably not wearing masks-- so, after spending the morning, wondering, "Should I go or should I stay?" ---  I decided to drive Lopez to Son #3's house to get his nails done and then come home--

BUT ---(There is always a big "butt")-while there, our eldest Grand daughter, said she was going to the concert and would video it with her phone--  I mean, video, the 2 dances our wee Grand daughter was doing--so, in this day of covid stuff, that seemed like a great idea!--- I tried to put the video on here for yu all to see, but couldn't get it to download--but--it is pretty cute. This child is 7 yrs old--

So, I did not bring that Covid virus back to Himself--

It is cold here to-day---sunny , but very cold--like minus15C ---I did step on the scales this AM--183 pounds--  The weight is not moving--because I am not eating properly--which I will try harder to-day to do--  It is tough being fat---  easier on the body to be thinner-- so, I shall try for the 154th time!--- Lord love a Duck!

I know I can do this---if I can be consistent-- I must remember that soon, all the winter clothing will go , and all the pounds will show for sure!

  1. Sorry you didn't go, but you made the best choice for your household. The video let you see the performance. Very cute little girl. I'm sure her performance was sweet.
I'm convinced we'll all get with it soon on the weight loss goals. A bit more activity and changing eating habits in the evening will work. The weather has to cooperate soon so we can get out.
Hoping you have a peaceful day with Fred and the uncooperative Lopez.
    Hugs

  3. Oh, my! So hard finding the balance between "safe" and "sane", isn't it? Glad you got to see the important bits of the recital on video. This pandemic certainly has changed a whole lot of how we live, hasn't it?

  4. I am glad you didn't bring a virus home to Himself (and yourself).

I had the same thing with a video my daughter-in-law sent me. It was of my grandaughter's concert in CA after I left their house (they had me go there for a couple days after Hawaii). She sent it on Messages...but when I clicked, nothing happened. Frustrating!

Do you have bananas today? I still have a couple.

Spring doesn't seem to come here, either. We had just a couple teaser days and then cold again. Not as cold, I'll admit...at least the snow has melted. With the wind...makes me not even want to go out, though.

I wish we could post photos here for you to see. Guess you have to go to our FB pages.

  6. Your granddaughter is cute. At least you got to see her dances even though you weren't there. You got the most important part of the show! It is so cold and windy - hopefully this is it for winter.

  7. So glad you got to see the magical video, did Himself recognize her? Yes, the bananas may not always look right, anymore. Weird stocking things going on. Take care.

  10. We miss our granddaughters activities in the winter being away. Mom does videos and the school has a link to live video like for the bands and vocal. Nice we can watch even though we can't go.
