Walking outside makes such a difference in a day!

We are alive----and  the big melt down in the North continues- ice everywhere --which is becoming squishy--This morning I put away my parkas--That is a sure sign that Spring is almost here--or--is here!
Sunday is the first day of Spring--There are more and more birds returning to the North--no geese yet tho!--I hear different bird calls everyday when Lopez and I walk on the back road--And--he does his business on the back road--I'm happy about that!

Yesterday was hair day-- "Do yu need a cut?" the hair dresser asked."I dunno", I replied--so--she trimmed it and the hair feels so much better. Good thing for hair ladies! --And, it felt so-o-oo good to get out of the house and to see other people and  see there is a world out there!-

We did get a call from the clinic, and our 4th shot (2nd booster) is now booked for the 25th--for both of us. After that, maybe Himself will get out more with me!--

Everyday brings a new challenge with Himself---So far, I have been able to manage this-- Sometimes, the things he says , makes me cry--but--then I think, I can handle this--It's odd how a very intelligent person, very bright person, develops such paranoid thoughts--I must remember not to allow insecurity to ruin my life-- that this is not how he should be remembered-- Getting out and walking once again has really helped me-- to believe that I can handle this!--even 10 or 15 minutes outside,  makes a bad day feel so much better!

So, Lord love a Duck!---  We are made to move---  Sometimes all the "stuff" in our life , seems important--  Really--"WE ARE IMPORTANT!"

  1. Raining today! Supposed to change to snow. NOOOoooo!

Glad you got your hair done! It really is uplifting! And just to spend some time outside of the house. Kudos! Love the cut!

Glad your 4th shot (2nd booster) is scheduled for the both of you.

The personality change is very difficult but you’re right – just a little time away to recharge makes a huge difference!

hugs and have a good weekend

  2. Snow is melting as quickly as it came. Robins are singing. Spring starts on Sumday. Sunday is also my DD's birthday. It's a wonderful life. Smile and be happy.

    Hair looks great!
Spring is coming. Hoping both of you can get out more often.
You ARE strong. When it gets rough with husband, remove yourself and get outside if you can. Play piano. Do something you enjoy!!
    Hugs dear lady!

  7. Your hair looks great, the trimming made it feel spiffier. We have awful winds here in north Texas. Was warmer yesterday, cold today. Glad you are getting out. I still have not been in a store in 2 years.

  8. Even though spring is coming we still get snow all the way until May sometimes. It's good for the grass and plants though.

Nothing like getting out and getting your hair done to make you feel good.

  9. Your hair looks very pretty 😍 It's always nice to get out and visit with others while getting pampered. It's uplifting! Happy to hear your Spring is unfolding. It's a very stormy day here in Alabama. All the rain is great for the grass and flowers. Soon you'll be able to get outside more, and you'll enjoy that! Hugs ❤️

  10. Such a beautiful day here in NH. . . almost 70. The reality sets back in tomorrow with rain for the next 2 days . . .a muddy mess. But spring is near I feel it in my bones.

  11. I had a lone goose fly over my house this morning as I pulled the garbage can back from the curb, honking as he/she flew. Hunting for the rest of the crew? They are likely over near the lake, Goosey!

Yes, getting outdoors does help us see that the world is still there. Seeing the hairdresser tells us we're still human and connected. Sounds like a good day and you're on top of things! Yay!

  12. Love the new hair! Yes, hair ladies are the best. We've had a few days of melting and I can't wait for all the snow to be gone@

  13. I got my hair cut today, too! So much easier to deal with.

Lopez is going further on his walks, I guess. He probably benefits from the extra exercise, too.

Exercise does make us feel better. I have less joint pain and, actually, more energy when I move!

The Law of Attraction teaches that the most important thing is that we be happy. We do that by our thoughts and what we focus on. I am glad you focus on the positive memories of Himself and your good times together. They will trump what happens on his bad days now.
