The radio was on as Sadie worked away in the bathroom and I heard CBC news on all that stuff in Ukraine--I finally turned it off. It really makes me want to invite the Ukrainian people to come and live in the rooms we don't use in this house-- That will not help the situation, over there, I know, but--- we have 3 pets living with us here-- We do take such good care of our pets--- and --- look all the displaced people in this world-- Maybe I shouldn't be thinking so much--
--my wish for to-day--- try hard to love every moment-- in the day--- Lord love a Duck-- and maybe not turn on CBC for now!Wednesday, March 2, 2022
Love every day--

OH to say the least, the news is upsetting so really . . . try not to watch too much. Have to be informed, but not every minute. And my prayers continue for the brave Ukrainian people.

DeleteI have barely watched any national news since that thumper was president, his voice made us throw up. Need to get back to world news, slowly, local news updates us in world news anyway now. But hearing it stresses us out, we can’t personally help except money wise. Glad you have a day at home.
ReplyDeleteYu areas right--How to help them?---But a few prayers may help--may help us al--LOL-Lynda
DeleteYes --how to help these people who are trying so hard--It certainly shows that we can't trust Mr Russian guy there_ Lynda
DeleteI need to have Sadie at my house . . . now that we are feeling better and moving better I can see cleaning on the horizon. The news is sad and I will make a donation to a charity that is helping them today.
ReplyDeleteSadie is a great cleaner--LOL--- and I agree--the news is not good!-Lynda
DeleteI can't listen to the news any more, it is just too awful what is happening in our world. My heart goes out to the Ukrainians - what is being done to them is horrible. But they are fighting back and I say "good for you to stand up to a bully". I pray for them every day.
ReplyDeleteso good that yu pray for them--I do too--and I hope it helps them--Lynda
DeleteI feel blessed that we have a cleaning crew of 2 to 3 persons here every three weeks that cleans the entire house in one afternoon. Our current furchildren don't shed. For around 30 years we had long, silky fur from our American Eskimo Spitz dogs everywhere inside the house that I found very annoying.
ReplyDeleteYour cleaning people sound wonderful-- Lynda
DeleteLoved your opening and your closing banners.
ReplyDeleteGreat to hear Fred vacuumed. Wahoo
Yes, soon you will see the 170s. Wahoo

DeleteI prefer to love and be kind.......makes life more tolerable.
ReplyDeleteHugs ((( ))). Chin up and be "pretty strong"... you are, you know!
ReplyDeleteSayings are good. Thought tests were done - hope there is not many more. Agree news on Ukraine is totally horrible and devastating. We all need to pray for them. Glad Sadie's doing a good job. And stay strong!!
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't worry about all that, just turn off the news for awhile, it's all bad! That's what I do, anyway. Just live one day at a time. For right now you are fine. That is all you need to think about. A therapist told me that once. :)
ReplyDeleteThe news is so upsetting right now. I turn it on for a little bit and then turn on some music. It's just all bad.
ReplyDeleteI check the news for a limited amount of time each day, and pray over the things that are going on. But limited is the key word. I need to remember all the blessings and good things as well as knowing and praying over the awful things.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I have to limit the news too. We all do! Glad you got so much work done, way to go!
ReplyDeleteYou are correct about not watching/listening to the news. If we focus on the things we love, the things we want...we will see more of them. That said, I agree that we need to help the Ukrainian people.
ReplyDeleteHere in Minnesota we have lots of displaced Somalis.
