I really am just a pushover!

I try----to stay classy--but--(that big "butt" again!)--It isn't easy  when one is nearly 80 yrs young and has a Chihuahua!

Yesterday, at the Hair dresser, she began to put the cap on my head--for "streaks"---  I said, "Oh no, no no, I just cannot stay here that long--"---

"Well, it will only take 20 more minutes," the hair Lady said--

You know, I was thinking of poor Himself at home, trying to deal with little Lopez---

"Well, OK", I heard myself say--(because I really am just a "pushover")---  but--I think I really wanted to " be classy."

So, I walked out, feeling pretty classy- with my new blond streaks.--When I got back home, I asked Himself if Lopez did his business outside and how he handled it.

"No, he replied--He has not done anything."--which was kind of weird---  so--out Lopez and I went, and we walked the back road-- NOTHING--He did NOTHING---

"This dog did not do anything outside", I told himself-- Really I was just happy that both Himself AND Lopez were alive and OK--BUT---- I checked under the dining room table---AND_--  THERE IT WAS!

So, I felt pretty classy, but---  poor Lopez must've suffered somewhat--probably needed to go, but Himself does not recognize the signals.

So, I have beautiful hair, but it comes with a price, when you are trying to train the Chihuahua--
I am going for --"the seventies"---  That means, a tad more exercise, not eating crazy stuff in that easy chair watching CNN---I will be stronger, Kinder, and will try --really try, to be fierce--but---it's tough to do, when I really am such a pushover!

  1. My dear, you ARE classy! Hard as it was to take that opportunity to pamper yourself, you NEED that.

Lopez and Himself survived, despite the dining room accident. He’ll bounce back! You’re doing well w/Lopez!

Good luck on your venture into ‘the 70’s’. You can do this!

  3. Well your hair - and YOU look GREAT! So kick up yer heals and dance a little but watch out for piddles and business from the little doggy do...er.

It's late here. I must get to bed. But first I must give my expensive 3 legged kidney ailed cat a treat and a bit of thyroid cream inside his ear. He is getting so used to his routine he's sitting STARING at me to make me do his will. Oh and complaining too.

Take care, Lynda - and you do look so nice in today's photo!

  8. Sometimes we just really do need to pamper ourselves, even if it means we have clean up to do when the pampering is done. I think your hair looks lovely!!!

  11. Well, you know why Lopez "goofed"...well, maybe that was Himself. Hope you're not too angry at either of them. Just kinda resigned, I imagine.

    Hair looks great, BTW!

    We'll be fine if we just think spring! {{{HUGS}}}

  13. Your hair looks swell. The dog will always be not perfect, that is just the way it is. Can’t follow him around every minute. Accept it and move about your day, it will be ok. Enjoy everything you can. Breathe easy.

  14. Hair looks good! I think patience is required when it comes with Lopez. When winter finally leaves us maybe he will act better. And maybe he was being ignored (not intentionally) - maybe himself didn't hear him. Have a good day.
