Worry less--Live more!

This was the "crack of dawn" (Mom's expression)--  early this AM--If yu look closely , yu can see the ice shacks across the lake. And, yu will never guess what?--To-morrow, the temperature will go up to----ZERO-----Lord love a Duck! --It has been ages since we have seen that!---And each day after that, I see 3 degrees and 4 degrees--ABOVE ZERO! --SO--the big melt will begin-I hope!

Yesterday, the beginning of, Daylight savings time, was difficult.  Lopez was all mixed up--  (well, probably it was me  who was mixed up and I kept forgetting to put him out)--and--he did his business in the DINING ROOM--This wee fella is very difficult to train!

The "Covid" grandchildren came out with their Dads, but stayed outside--  They say they feel very tired--but are over the worst--I think I will wear a mask forever!

So, when I finally sat down after dinner, to watch CNN , it would not come in, on the TV in the kitchen--(Himself's TV)- Funny thing tho--It came in on the living room TV--  So, I called the  "Shaw" people  and a fella answered right away, and told me to unplug the receiver--from the wall--and after plugging it back in, voila!--we had CNN---- so much technology eh?--

So all is good here-- We even have sun---- and we have bananas---  and the world here is doing Ok---Now I pray that the rest of the world will be Ok--Hugs to all--

  1. I don't like DST. I really need that hour's sleep. The snow fall has stopped and the sun is trying to shine. Maybe as summer comes on and it is not so cold outside Lopez will get better at doing his business outside. At least you can hope for it. Good that kids are feeling better. Stay safe.

  2. Technology ggrrr Glad TV was an easy fix.
Hoping grands make a full recovery soon.
Zero...well temps are going in the right direction..UP. Hoping Spring finds you soon.
Lopez...your patient. I'd be very unhappy with that boy.
I am not a fan of DST. I wish they'd leave it alone.
Have a safe, warm, well day.
    Spring is coming.

  3. Can't believe how much darker it is now in the early morning. Forgot about that with DST. It's going to be much better this week. Thursday it's supposed to go up to 16 - for one day then cooler. Poor little Lopez - just doesn't understand what's going on with the time. It will get better with better weather. I've had the TV problem a few times and now I try the off/on first - usually works. Have a good day.

  5. Well, glad that the grands are feeling better. That fatigue will last awhile. BUT they're young, resilient.

Glad that 'rebooting' the television helped! Yup . . . you just never know, do you!

Stay warm, enjoy the thaw, when it happens.

  7. I have one banana...and 3 that may be too late even for banana bread!

I do not, however, watch the news. I try to focus on positive stuff (and I don't mean positive test results for covid!) and what I want.

I have been sneezing and having a runny nose, though for days. I just realized my allergy pills are gone! I haven't taken one since before I went to Hawaii!

I am glad you are so patient with your wee puppy. I know it sometimes seems impossible. We are all having issues dealing with the time change. It is a further signal that spring is coming, though!

It's 42F here and no severe cold forecasted for us. Thanks goodness!

  8. Glad your season I’d changing to higher temps. Be prepared, that poor dog will always leave something to be picked up, but not all the time. The books mention that, one of life’s “things” with small dogs. You will be used to it, it’s part of the joy…Hope the kids get better soon, so life can go on, unless that newer one from China comes here. Take care.

  9. It will be in the 60's to 66 range here, but a bit of rain coming in
the later week...hope not on St. Paddy's day...lol
This is why I do not want another dog. I loved ours so much, but
house training a dog while trying to take care of Hubs is just too much for me.
